CONNECT: Rise Of The Undead King

Chapter 59: Who Are The Originals Scared Of?

With how the history teacher had described Varlock and what he could achieve, nobody could believe he still had someone he feared.

Although the history teacher didn't describe him as someone who's almighty or very powerful, he didn't even describe him as the strongest of them all, but with how resourceful the said Varlock could be with his knowledge, he should be the most dangerous among them.

After all, he was the one who showed the others what they could achieve with blood; he created weapons and gadgets that they used till now.

'Futuristic gadgets that don't even exist in the Milky Way Galaxy,'

Uche thought.

A man like that could be the greatest among them and could also be the most dangerous among them, so the students all wondered who he feared.

'He mentioned the Originals also feared this person?'

Uche muttered as he imagined how dangerous this person could be. If the Originals were walking myths, archdevils, then this person would be the devil himself—a walking adversary.

Uche shivered.

"Sir, who's this person and why would the Originals be scared of them?"

A female student asked from behind after seeing the teacher pause.

The history teacher stared at them for a while, then smiled and packed up his books.

"Well, that would be a topic for another day,"

the man said with a curious, killing smile.

"Ahh, nooooo!"

All the students shouted in unison, and some of them had already gone to block his way out of the class.

"No sir, you must tell us right here and now, we aren't waiting for another day!"

The students shouted as they all blocked the exit, making the man's smile widen.

"Well, well, I never knew you guys could be this curious, but you all need to know that my time is up here—the next teacher is coming in,"

the man said, pointing outside the door. And when they all turned to look outside, they saw a middle-aged woman standing patiently at the door, her lips crying with red lipstick while her eyebrows were as long as her fingers, her nails also long like that of a witch.

A dark hat covered her head.

She was the science teacher.

"Argh."

The students sighed in disappointment as they all saw who it was.

None of them liked the science teacher; unlike the history teacher, her class was as boring as hell.

"Well, let me give you something that can cure your curiosity,"

the history teacher said as he moved back to the front of the class and faced the white holographic board.

"You all go to the library after class and search for a book named *Wikipedia*. Open it to page 37,654. I'm sure it says a little about the Originals and their nemesis. That should at least cure your curiosity till our next class,"

the man said with a smile before leaving the class, in which the science teacher stepped in immediately, prompting a knowing silence with her presence.

The science class ended a couple of hours later—bored as expected—and most of the students were busy doing nothing but sleeping, which included Uche.

After the science class ended, they were allowed to go for lunch right away, and everyone wasted no time rushing to the cafeteria.

---

Uche sat down with his bowl of meat and blood, a cup of blood juice in front of him. A pack of snacks could also be seen on his desk; he chewed one absentmindedly while lost deep in thought.

Uche was still thinking about the Originals.

'Who can they fear that much?'

With the stories he had heard about them, he thought of the Originals as gods—beings with unimaginable powers—so he never imagined there could be someone all seven of them feared.

"I need to go to the library now,"

Uche muttered, quickly rushing his food.

Swallowing the last of his meal, Uche drank his blood juice greedily and rushed out of the cafeteria. But upon getting to the exit, he found Elion and his group of friends leaning on the staircase of the exit as if waiting for him patiently.

"This bastard,"

Uche muttered, rage boiling within him as soon as he set his eyes on him. The bastard might have forgotten what happened at the last moment yesterday, but Uche hadn't. He attacked him with blood skills, exposing his secret to the class.

Uche wanted to lunge at him and destroy the bastard right at that moment, but he held himself back. He knew they were here to cause trouble, so he wouldn't be the one on the offending side.

"Elion, what do you want?"

Uche asked, staring down at him with a killer gaze.

"What I want? Of course, to finish what we started yesterday. After all, we didn't get to know the winner before we were all disqualified,"

Elion said, slowly walking up to Uche, his steps heavy on the stairs.

Uche didn't reply immediately; he stared at the five boys behind Elion, which made Elion chuckle and say,

"Oh, my guys? They're not going to intervene—they're just here to spectate. And also, if anything goes wrong, you know, with your crazy bodyguard,"

Elion said with a smile, but then he was suddenly sent flying back, his body skidding through the staircase of the cafeteria.

"Fine then, I can really beat the hell out of you,"

Uche said, throwing a kick at Elion's face, sending him flying down the staircase of the cafeteria before jumping down to meet him—a rain of fists dropping on Elion's face.

The others moved immediately, going after Uche, but then suddenly, out of nowhere, Eric was right in front of them.

"Get past me first,"

he said.

"This psycho,"

one of the five boys said before running away.

In an instant, all the students had gathered at the exit of the cafeteria, all watching as Uche's blows rained down on Elion, beating him mindlessly like some beast that had lost control.

Blood flowed down the boy's face and also splattered across the floor.

"He's going to kill him!"

one of the onlookers said.

"Good for him. He broke the rules yesterday and still came to fight him here again."

"He thought he could defeat him because he looks weak."

"I never knew Uche was this strong."

"I heard he fought both Elion and Damon in the ring yesterday."

"Now the bully's turning into the victim, hahaha."

Most of the students mocked Elion, while some pitied him.

Some minutes later, Uche stood up with blood splattered all across his body; his face and clothes were all stained with blood.

He looked at him before staring back at Elion, who sprawled motionless on the floor, his body not healing, then he smiled.

"That feels better,"

he muttered with a creepy smile that made everyone step back.

"Now let's get changed and go to the library."
