Silence filled the whole observation room, no one spoke for a while but someone had to break the silence eventually.

"You have a strong daughter, Caelum." This was the Elven King Eldarion.

Caelum just nodded quietly but inside he was truly happy, his children are all talented in many ways.

He didn't criticize Duke for losing the spar against the demon prince, in fact he was happy that he was able to fight him to that extent.

And now his daughter, the twin sister of his son. She was able to win a sparing match against the elven princess.

This completely balanced out the loss his son has received earlier.

Both the mothers of the two rushed to the arena to take care of their daughters.

Lythrienne cast a healing skill on both of them, this healed the wounds and elevated their fatigue.

Elowen thanked the Elven Queen and Lythrienne just nodded and gave a soft smile.

They both helped their daughters move back to the observation room.

"Looks like your great grandson is up next, Dragon Emperor." Vaelthos said.

"Indeed he is." Aurelion responded calmly.

"And he shall be fighting Bromdir's son," Vaelthos said. "Seems like it'll be interesting."

Bromdir just chuckled and said. "My son is more interested in exchanging blows with a dragon, you hardly ever get the chance to battle one."

Aurelion didn't say anything else and just remained quiet, Vaelthos also stayed silent and looked at the arena with anticipation.

Bromdur. arrived at the arena holding a hammer twice his own size, he held the hammer with ease and was rubbing his beard.

Adam also arrived at the arena and stood ten meters away from Bromdur.

"We meet again my friend!" Bromdur said with a hint of excitement. "I didn't thank you for saving us that day."

"Don't worry about it, good to see ya to." Adam replied.

"BEGIN."

Bromdur acted first, he took out was seemed to be like a mechanical qil and started to engrave runes on the ground.

He took a whole three seconds to be able to finish engraving the runes, it a real life battle he would've been attacked by the enemy before he even had a chance to use his runes.

But in this sparring match Adam gave him a chance to make his moves, he also wanted to see how a person is able to fight using runes.

Another thing was that he wanted to try out his swordmanship, for a while now he hasn't been using it correctly.

"Array Deployment."

He activated a total of three rune arrays, and each of them boosted his:

Strength, Speed and, Stamina.

"Mana Inscription."

Afterwards Bromdur engraved a rune on his large hammer, a rune was then seen on each side of the hammer.

And the effects were like this:

Rune Of Gravity: Doubles the weight of the weapon each time the user swings it, it's weight doesn't affect the user. While the hammer doubles in weight each time it is swung in the users hands it feels weightless.

This might seem like a simple rune engraving but it's also terrifying powerful.

Imagine a hammer weight doubling each time it is swung while the user is swinging it like a rapier.

The moment the attack connects to you, it would be an instant win because it's weight would have increased to tremendous levels.

But now the preparations were completed and it was time to initiate his attack.

"I should thank you for allowing me to finish my preparations," he said. "Now let's begin in earnest!"

Bromdir charged in swiftly with his hammer in hand and leaped towards the air aiming for slam his hammer down hard on Adam.

"Crystalization!"

Gemstones formed on the hammer increasing it's power.

"Sovereign Draw — First Editct."

Adam unsheathed both his swords, the dragon god sword and the sword of bahamut.

While unsheathing his blades he let out a lightning fast unsheathing strike that released a crescent of draconic pressure.

This suppressed Bromdur's movements while in the air for a brief moment.

A lightning fast unsheathing strike that releases a crescent of draconic pressure.

Suppresses enemy movement for a brief moment, weaker foes are forced to kneel or loose balance, increases the damage if the target resists.

2. Dragon Pulse Sever

A controlled thrust that sends a compressed wave of dragon mana forward.

Effects:

Pierces defenses and barriers. Shatters internal mana circulation. Leaves lingering draconic pressure that weakens enemies.

3. Wyrm Fang Reversal

A counter-technique that is activated the moment an enemy attack makes contact.

Effects:

Redirects the force back to the attacker. Converts the absorbed impact into sword momentum. Can break enemy weapons or techniques.

A downward cleave infused with absolute weight.

Effects:

Crushes defenses regardless of hardness. Nullifies regeneration for a short duration. Cause spatial fractures on impact.

Effects: It creates a localized zone of draconic Authority. Enemy stats and their reactions are suppressed. Allies will gain resistance to fear and corruption.

An upward slash that is followed by a descending strike.

Effects:

It launches the enemy airborne. The second strike drags them down with a crushing force. It deals compounded damage based on the altitude.

Adam looked for the right timing to deliver a counter-attack, as he hammer approached him it came into contact with both his swords.

"Wyrm Fang Reversal."

This redirected the force of the attack back to Bromdur, and since his hammers weight was now four times it's original weight coupled with his increased strength and speed.

Bromdur was send back from that strike alone and his hammer had cracks on it.

Adam seized the chancer and launched another attack, he flapped his wings and flew towards bromdur and was now directly above him.

"Imperial Breaker."

Bromdur saw the incoming attack and knew that he wouldn't be able to dodge it, and he decided to block it and reinforced his defenses.

"Stone Skin."

His body was now hardened into layered mineral armor.

But that wouldn't be enough to stop the attack.

Both Adam's swords performed a downward cleave the slammed against bromdur's hammer breaking it completely.

The attack didn't stop and slammed hard on his stone skin, it completely crushed his defenses and slammed his hard on the ground.

BOOM!

Dust accumulated where Bromdur crashed, and when it cleared it showed his unconscious body on the ground with numerous cracks on his skin, there was spatial fractures that lingered due to the impact.

Adam sheathed both his swords after landing on the ground, he looked at Bromdur for a moment and turned his back walking away from the arena.

"Winner, Adam von Athelion."
