For whole moths have passed in just a blink of aye, but inside the walls of Silford a academy, those who were inside the passage of time didn't bring any peace or comfort.

It only brought pressure and it also brought expectations. It only brought the sharpening of steel, deepening of mana and lots of sleepless nights of nights.

The inter-racial competition was fast approaching, this was an ancient tradition that was done once in every generation, and it was this generations chance to partake in it.

And for Adam, these four months have been the most intense moments of his life, he has been training partaking in missions from his System and the guild.

From the missions in the guild alone, his total finances have reached 50'000'000 credits. This was enough money that while count's family would wield.

He didn't need anything such as necessities like food, drinking water. Being a dragon mana is all that he needed.

Even he didn't know what he would do with the amount of money in his account, but he decided to horde it rather than use it.

This might also be his draconic instincts acting up, as dragons loved to horde treasures.

Adam was standing quietly on the balcony of his dorm room, he was wearing the Apex's academy uniform.

His appearance had permanently changed over the four months, his yellow golden eyes and pupils now had draconic/cat-like slits.

And below him there were loads os students who were moving across the training fields.

There were shouts, explosions and elemental bursts. Steel clashing against steel was being filled in the air.

Class S and Class A, both classes have gotten even more competitive, and the gap that was between them had begun to shrink for the first time in the history of the academy.

And what's the reason for this?

Adam.

Wether the people were admiring him, despising him, were trying to surpass him or even wanted to see him erased. There wasn't a single person who could ignore him.

He was still the undisputed Rank 1 of the freshmen in the entire academy, his power was now comparable to the third years.

He was strong just four months ago, buy now he was now monstrous.

THE GROWTH OF THE STUDENT'S

During these for months:

Finn was pushing himself to the brink, his lightning was now on the brink of becoming an even more rare variant, his man was now cracking like thunder each time he inhaled.

Eve was able to refine her frost arts to perfection, her ice creations were no longer able to shatter under immense pressure.

Grace was able to fuse her fire and wind magic creating fusion magic, this made burning hurricanes that were able to melt steel.

Duke was able to reach A rank this elevated him to become one of the top ten strongest people in the academy overall.

In the History of the academy people have graduated whole while being at B rank or the early stages of A rank.

This was an exception to the children of the four duke houses and the second year apex who was now a peak A rank.

Selena, Drake, Amy, Ivy, And Brad have also been able to break past their previous walls.

Even the students in Class A have claimed rapidly through the ranks.

Jake von Bazel, the arrogant and prideful heir of the Bazel Duchy. Even if his pride and arrogance were bruised, he was able to to claw his way up.

His affinity for wind was sharpened, and his swordmanship has become even more refined.

He wasn't yet string enough to fight Adam the apex but, he was strong enough now and he's no longer the same fool he was, he was being drilled and reworked these past months and he now didn't allow his pride and arrogance to cloud his decisions.

Even Adam has started to acknowledge that he has changed a bit, not that it mattered to him anyways.

Everyone has significantly grown stronger, this was something unexpected. So many prodigies coming out in just one generation.

That also means the dangers that have been lurking below the academy, they gave a low grown stronger but they've been doing that in silence.

THE FINAL EXAM RESULTS

The final exams have finally concluded and the results were being posted in a massive digital mana board that was in the central plaza of the academy.

Since the final exams have concluded the final years the 4th years, were going to graduate at the end of the year and it's been rumored that the apex of the 4th years Adam's older brother has achieved the major rank of S rank.

The same thing was with Sidney von Dragonis, she was the 3rd year Apex and also president of the student council. She was able to reach S-rank as well, and was now going to be in her final year. She could graduate anytime she wanted but decided to stay in the academy until the end of her 4th year.

The students were now swarming around the plaza just like ants when a piece of bread falls on the ground, they were murmuring, shouting, some of them were cheering, while others were crying over the results they achieved.

The exam just like always was divided into the written, mana application, and also combat simulations.

Things have shifted the past four months, most of Class S have managed to stay among the top 10.

While Amy and Brad were the unfortunate ones to be downgraded to Class A starting the following year.

As all the students read the list, some of of them were sighing.

Some of them cheering.

And some of them were glaring.

But one thing didn't change, they viewed Adam as a monster.

He was at the Peak of A-rank and it's been like that for a few months now. It should be know that amongst the strongest in the academy most of them were at the peak of A-rank.

Meaning that Adam was one of the strongest people in the whole school, there was one time Kael sent trouble by sending out another peak A-rank student.

But what happened shocked the while school, he was able to beat the student in just one move.

Adam ignored the murmurs and simply walked past the crowd without reacting.

All of them parted almost instinctively, they opened a path for him.

He really didn't ask for the respect he has; his mere presence demanded it, he was a sovereign afterall.

Duke slapped his back when he reached their side. "Guess your still number one huh? At this point I think you'd even survive a dragon breath."

Even also nodded quietly, though her eyes were holding subtle pride. "You're stable. Stronger. And I can't even gauge your mana output."

Drake whistled. "You've made all of want to train harder. Even idiots like Jake improved."

Adam just shrugged. "If you're growing, that means I'll trust my back to you guys more often."

Selena said. "Hehe. Seems like that will happen soon huh?"

Drake smirked. "Wow. The bone crusher is giving us inspirational words now."

Adam just rolled his eyes.

Then Finn walked forward, and told them to check their manapads for the school's announcement. "The Headmaster has said that we're dismissed early for today. It's to prepare for the arrival of the racial delegations."

And this announced the beginning for the real arc.
