The five cultists who were feeling a sense of fear before now dropped to their knees instantly.

"Oh Glory—!" One of the cried.

And then the entity's head shifted towards him, and the said cultist's head imploded.

The blood and bone all vanished, it was as if it was erased.

Al of the remaining cultists were frozen in terror.

"Your too loud," the entity's voice echoed, it wasn't even through sound, but it was through it's mere existence.

It then flexed.

And three more of the chains snapped.

The pressure that was already there had multipled once more.

Doom feeling the intense pressure collapsed, and he started coughing up blood.

Azazel and Grace's flames were flickering widely before they were early extinguished.

Adam staggered a bit before staying in place once more his aura flaring to company the pressure from the monster.

"This doesn't feel like a gate boss," Eve was whispering in horror."

"No shit," Adam just replied hoarsely. "This is one of the reasons rifts and gates fucking exist."

All the other remaining cultists were in a sense of panic.

"This wasn't supposed to happen, this is not how it was supposed to—"

And then one of them completely snapped, he activated a blood seal.

The seal ripped open their own chest and released a surge of corrupted mana into the crack formed.

Though, the entity just barely reacted.

One of its eyes narrowed.

There was a ripple that passed through the convergence zone.

The said cultist was flattened, he was crushed into nothing, leaving only a dark stain on the ground.

"These annoying insects," the entity murmured.

Adam was clenching his fists, he felt that if he battled this thing he wouldn't survive.

Then suddenly he felt a sense of peace he no longer felt any fear from the entity, he knew that fighting it would be a death sentence. But the others needed to escape first.

His mana surged but it wasn't out of recklessness, he was keeping himself calm and also giving a sense of hope to his friends.

"Adam—what are you trying to do!?" Selena shouted.

"Buying some time," Adam said as he pushed Selena back.

But then the entity's eye shifted, it then focused on him.

"Oh, a dragon here in the human continent?," it murmured. "Well, your an interesting one."

This pressure around him started to increase tenfold, and his soles were cracking the ground from the intensity.

"I don't really need to beat you," Adam growled, steam coming out his mouth. "I'll just shove you back into the hell hole you came from!"

He opened his maw and space, ice, fire, wind started to converge into his mouth, am orb started to form in his mouth. It was filled with the mana of all his affinities and he pushed it to the very limit.

"Me, sleep?" It's voice echoed. "I have been dreaming for ten thousand years, you young dragon child."

And that's when another chain snapped.

STATUS: PARTIAL AWAKENING (21%)

But suddenly, the sky was tearing open above the convergence zone.

That's when a massive formation spell was activated.

There were many golden sigils layered upon other sigils.

A voice was thundering down like it was judgment itself.

"ALL STUDENTS—YOU MUST EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY!"

That's when Professor Seraphim descended down in a pillar of blinding mana.

And behind her was—

All the power houses from the human continent:

Duke Dragonis, Duke Malros, Duchess Corven, Duke Caelthorn, and Duke Bazel.

Next to them was:

Headmaster Dave Vorn, The King of The Kingdom, Emily Bifrost the Vice-Headmaster, and also Guild Master Veyra.

Their expressions weren't composed, their faces were filled with fear, dread, caution and urgency.

"Seems like the cult succeeded," The king said quietly.

The entity's eyes left Adam and the flickered upward.

"Ah, the calvary is here," it said with faint amusement. "The guardians of the world are here."

Duchess Corven raised her staff.

And the air was locked.

"Adam," Emily said sharply. "Fall back, now."

Then her eyes narrowed, she noticed the way he looked right now, even the other powerhouses narrowed their eyes in surprise, especially Pablo von Dragonis.

"It seems we have a lot to talk about," she said. "About your form but I guess it's finally time."

She vanished from the air and appeared right next to him, she left a box Infront of him and she reappeared back in the air.

"That's what your mother wanted me to give you," she continued. "Now go?"

Adam hesitated at first,.the entity was watching him closely.

He put the box into his inventory, and Then—

The entity smiled, it was a slow, knowing expression.

"Run, you dragon," it whispered, it wasn't loud, but it came directly into Adam's mind. "We shall met again eventually, in my complete state. But you shall all entertain my children"

Before any them could do anything, space folded and their bodies disappeared and and were Infront of the entrance of the gate.

At first all of them thought that they survive and could escape, but suddenly a crack opened Infront of them.

Multiple monsters came out from the crack, their mana was that if an S-rank monster with some intelligence.

All of the were pale, there are hundreds of these monsters and the weakest was A-rank peak monsters (20).

And the rest were at S-rank.

"Ah shit." Adam the realized the situation they were in, they didn't escape it just made things worse for them.

They could leave the gate and escape but the monsters would also leave the gate.

With these many S-rank monster the kingdom wouldn't be able to survive so they were faced with a situation.

Either escape and live or save the kingdom but die.

"Where did you send them?," The Headmaster, Dave Vorn SSS-Rank asked.

"Oh? At the entrance," it said. "But they shall entertain my children, the dragon child might survive but the rest? They might die."

"You keep saying dragon," Duke Caelthorn decided to ask. "But what dragon are you talking about."

Emily noticed this and just clenched her jaw, she knew that they couldn't avoid this but she didn't do anything.

"Oh? You don't know, that child with silver hair and yellow-golden eyes is a dragon." It said. "Although still young, is stronger than most adult dragons. Very impressive."

And the it shifted its eyes towards Duke Dragonis. "I sense a small part of you in him," it said. "But it seems he removed your blood and every trace of you from him, only the primordials genes remain."

Duke Dragonis didn't say anything but he was in an internal dilemma. 'So he has his mothers genes,' he thought. 'So he has the power needed afterall.'

Duke Caelthorn was laughing out loud. "So Pablo, you've let go such a gem just because of that bitch huh!"

Duke Dragonis cast him a murderous glare but Duke Caelthorn didn't flinch at all.

Duke Bazel took this chance to take a jab at Adam. "So being a dragon is the reason for his talent." He sneered. "If he was human he'd be useless."

"No, no. You've got it all wrong." The entity spoke. "It's all him, its his soul. There are even useless dragons. Even though a talentless one can search S-rank just by sleeping, that child is destined for much more."

"No wonder the supreme one," it continued. "Wants him as a vessel."

Bazel couldn't say anything about that, he wanted to find something justifiable for his son loosing but he couldn't say anything after that.

"Well enough of that." The entity spoke again. "It's time for your deaths."

This was a humanoid abomination that is filled with countless mouths and eyes that are across its body, this wasn't its true form. It's true form is obscured in eternal shadows.

This entity consumed life, mana and also even concepts. Each time it devours the larger and more grotesque it becomes. Legends say during the war it age half of a pantheon of minor gods.

Meanwhile on the other side

Adam and his team were filled with a problem, they were fighting countless monsters.

The S-ranked ones haven't acted hey and the Peak A-rank were the ones attacking.

They overwhelmed them with sheer numbers, even if they were at the peak of A-rank.

Most people on the was a low A-rank or a peak B-rank.

But also there was something that happened, and that is betrayal.

A few moments ago.

While they were faced with countless monsters, Adam felt two presences coming from the other side.

Upon closer inspection this was Eryndor von Velylis and Jake von Bazel.

But something about them was different, the eyes were similar to that of the entity and their shadows were warped.

Katherine was the one who spoke first, she saw her brother looking like the enemy, his mana was no longer pure. It was dark and warped. "Eryndor what is—"

Eryndor interrupted her, his skin was dark now and had an evil grin on his face. "Oh my sweet sister," he said. "You've always been too nice, elves are perfect. Our society is perfect, we are pure, loved by mana and the world tree. Were are beautiful. We deserve everything, every other race is tainted they need our guidance or they shall fall."

When Eryndor said this his shadow was moving unnaturally, and the pressure increased a bit. "Oh and I found a friend." He pointed towards Jake. "He was lost, so I helped him find his way. He's like me believes that his superior to everything, so I made him become like me. In exchange he had to kill everyone he was with in order to gain such power."

Hearing that revelation all of them went pale, they didn't want to believe but what they said next confirmed it.

"After we got separated," Jake said. "I found him, he gave me power in exchanged for my classmates lives. Finn and the rest are dead. The Caelthorn siblings survived but are critically injured, but you will be—!"

Before he could say anything space folded Infront of him and he was met punch directly on his face that sent him flying.

He crashed against multiple trees until he came to a stop, half of his face destroyed but was still alive.

"Don't think," Adam said. "You'll die an easy death."
