Back in the hall, Aaron sat with his eyes closed, lost in thought about his future.
Staying here wasn't an option, he needed to return to his territory soon and begin making critical changes.
Just then, the door opened. Emile entered with Namek, a smile blooming on her face.
She stepped forward, pulled out a pouch, and said, "Lord Aaron, here are 1,500 mana stones."
Aaron opened his eyes, surprised. "Oh? It seems you sold to someone important."
He glanced at the map, two green question marks hovered above the manor.
He looked at Emile. "Miss Emile, did you sell the potion to the leader of the Adventurer Guild?"
Emile nodded solemnly. "Lord Aaron, it wasn't my intention, but I had no choice. The Guild Leader wants to speak with you. She also offered to reveal the real reason behind the Dark Faction's attack."
She turned to Namek. "I'll use the Forget Spell on you later."
Namek nodded in understanding. He knew this memory might only bring him trouble.
Aaron smiled calmly. "Miss Emile, I don't think we need to travel to the Adventurer Guild, they're already listening to our conversation."
He looked up at the manor and said, "You both, please come down."
Emile's face turned pale. "Lord Aaron… I didn't mean to do that."
Aaron waved his hand. "It's not your fault."
Moments later, Ember and Nomikana descended from the manor.
Both were stunned.
They had never met someone who could detect their presence so effortlessly.
Normally, it required a spell like Detect Enemies, which sent a faint pulse of mana to touch the target's body.
But they hadn't felt a thing. It was mysterious, and deeply unsettling.
Ember stepped forward and bowed slightly. "Lord Aaron, please forgive us for spying on you."
His expression turned solemn. "I'll tell you the truth behind the Dark Faction's attack."
He then recounted the same story he had shared with Emile, about the Tier 7 herb, the Alchemist Association's secret deal, and the real motive behind the war.
A few minutes later, Aaron's eyes narrowed in realization.
"I see… Then what do you need me to do?"
Nomikana took a deep breath. "I am Nomikana, Guild Master of the Adventurer Guild. Lord Aaron, I'd like to formally request that you supply us with mana recovery potions. We will purchase as many as you can produce."
Aaron didn't answer immediately. Instead, he asked, "What about the other three powers ruling the city? I've heard that you maintain a delicate balance among yourselves. If I sell only to you, it might disrupt that harmony."
He paused, then added, "And more importantly, it could attract the Alchemist Association's attention. They're already pulling strings behind the scenes. If they learn about this potion, they'll come for me."
Nomikana fell silent, considering his words carefully.
She nodded. "You're right. I can gather the other three leaders. But if I do… the demand for potions will skyrocket."
Aaron smiled faintly. "That's not a problem. I have a way to handle it. Just gather them, all of them, at once."
Nomikana listened to Aaron's words, and though she felt he was boastful, she couldn't deny, he had the power to back it up. Anyone who could create such a flawless potion had earned the right to speak boldly.
Without hesitation, she turned to Ember. "Hurry and gather the heads of the other three powers. Tell them I've summoned them here."
Ember blinked, stunned. He hesitated, then said, "Guild Master… why don't you go yourself? Those people aren't easy to find."
He paused, muttering to himself, "And they're all women… They'll ask a hundred questions. I just can't handle that. Not everyone is as quiet and direct as the Guild Master."
Nomikana sighed. "Fine. I'll speak to them myself."
She pulled out her communication runes, activating them one by one.
"Bloodiene, gather at the troublemaker's house.
I have something very important to discuss."
"Marina, please come to the troublemaker's house. It's urgent."
"Moonlight, gather at the troublemaker's house. It's urgent."
After sending the messages, she turned and found Ember glaring at her.
She smiled sweetly. "Ember, you know most people don't remember your name, but everyone in Mosten City knows the 'troublemaker' can only be you."
Ember tried to defend himself. "But I clearly didn't do anything!"
Nomikana's tone turned cold. "Then what about the Fiery Chicken you stole from the Bloodstone family?"
Ember's voice dropped. "Ah… I heard it tasted amazing. I asked for one, they refused… so I had to take it by force."
Nomikana didn't flinch. "And the teacher you beat at Light Academy?"
Ember raised his voice. "That idiot was pestering my granddaughter!"
Nomikana rubbed her forehead. "And the Moonfire Grass you stole from the Moonfire family?"
Ember looked up at the rooftop, his voice barely a whisper. "I heard it could summon a Tier 5 monster… so I took it to the forest and burned it. But instead of a monster, it just burned beautifully, like glowing stars."
Nomikana had had enough. "Bind."
She cast Mage Hand, lifted Ember effortlessly, and placed him on top of the manor roof.
"It's better if you stay here until the meeting is over."
"Guild Master, you can't do this to me!" Ember protested from the rooftop.
Without a word, Nomikana cast a spell. "Silent."
The rooftop fell quiet.
She returned to the hall, composed as ever.
Aaron glanced at Emile, a faint smile on his lips. "Your father is… quite interesting."
Emile chuckled softly. "He's definitely unique. Since my mother's been away, he's made sure the house hasn't known peace for the last ten years."
Aaron nodded thoughtfully. He had initially assumed Emile's background was simple but now he realized it was anything but simple.
He reached into the pouch of mana stones, counted out 400, and handed them to Emile.
"150 is for you and Viola. Split the remaining 50 between Elisa and Namek."
Emile quietly accepted the pouch, tucking away her share and her companions' as well.
Then she asked, "Lord Aaron, where are they?"
Aaron replied calmly, "In the kitchen."
