Limitless Path Chapter Three Hundred Forty-Four

Beth had managed to mostly calm herself after a minute, but there was a very pressing question on her mind. She asked it as soon as Casey was finished explaining, saying, "Can I, uh, rent time with her, or however it's called?"

"Of course, though we should go check quickly. Sera is very popular and is booked for weeks in advanced much of the time. You have a good chance since you are here for two weeks, but let's go look," Casey answered, turning to continue leading them down the hall.

"I haven't seen you like that before," said Blood as they walked.

"Yeah, I probably looked almost as bad as you do around Val," Beth bit back, though there was no heat in her voice.

The two bantered for another minute before they finally got to the suite, Casey gesturing at the door for one of them to use their key. Beth tried hers, but only opened the door a bit, just making sure everything was good before shutting it again. Blood then tried hers, finding everything to be fine and this time opening the door wide. They stepped into a suite that was incredibly opulent and well put-together, with beautiful floors, fine artworks on the wall, and a series of rooms furnished with only the best pieces. There was a large main room, two massive bedrooms, a massive kitchen and dining area, and the central room had an outer wall that was practically all glass and led out onto a huge balcony area that was large enough it had a pool and hot tub both.

"This is the nicest place I've ever been in, and I've been in some nice places," Beth commented as she paced around, admiring everything.

"The furniture is all quite robust, especially the beds," Casey said with a smirk. "As long as you don't actively attack it, it should withstand whatever you get up to."

"Awesome," Beth said. "Now, how do I book Sera?"

"Right, right," Casey laughed, a light, tinkling sound. "Over here."

Casey led the two over to a screen imbedded in the wall by the door, gesturing at it and explaining, "This is the console menu for the room. You can also access this menu on the wallscreens in the rooms. You can order basically anything you want here. Want a delivery from one of the restaurants or shops? Order it here. Want someone to entertain you? Order it here. Want to book time at one of the exclusive parlors or other places? Book it here."

"So, you can do everything through the menu there?" Beth asked, watching Casey navigate it.

"Yep. So, look here. This is the sub-menu for ordering someone for entertainment, and you can see exactly who's available. I guess I should have said in the rules section, but be careful when you're using the menus. There are some workers who only work with certain genders or types of people, and no one is going to be amused if you, for example, as a woman order someone who isn't interested in women. But, anyway, enough lectures, you can navigate this menu and check everyone who's available in the next week. If they're lit up, they're available. You can look at the profiles of people who aren't available, but you can't do anything else," Casey explained.

"Hmm, I don't see her on that list," Beth said, watching as Casey scrolled through the list.

"Yeah, she's over here," Casey said, moving over to a list dedicated to female workers who were only interested in entertaining females. Beth noted the name of the list and was excited for a brief moment before her heart fell when seeing Sera's picture and name grayed-out.

"She's not available for at least a week?" Beth asked, though her tone said that she already knew the answer.

"Let's look," Casey said, tapping on Sera's entry on the list. It brought up a detailed profile, and right at the top it said she was on break for the next week exactly. "She's off for a week, kinda bad luck there. Doesn't look like she'll have anything for at least a week after that, either. I know the Lady booked you for two weeks to start, so you might have to wait longer or come back. Sorry, I don't know what your schedule is."

"No, it's fine, I'll see if I can maybe bump into her again," Beth said.

"Just be aware that it's her week off," Casey reprimanded. "Staff are free to do what-, or who-, ever in their downtime, but there is a very fine line for pestering them. If someone is on break, we typically ask the guests not to contact that person unless they contact the guest first. It isn't an absolute policy, but just be careful; don't want anyone thinking you're harassing staff on your first visit."

"I'll keep that in mind," Beth said with a sigh.

"Anything I can do for you?" Casey asked as she walked back to the door, escorted by Beth. Blood was already poking at the menu, and Beth had noted she hadn't left the brothel section.

"No, I think we're good for now. Honestly, we'll probably just relax the rest of the day and tonight before doing anything else," she replied, voice a little louder at the end as she glanced back at Blood. The wolf was still engrossed in the menu, but Beth could see her ears twitching at the statement, so she knew she had been heard.

"That sounds good. Please, let us know if you need anything at all," Casey said, giving Beth a bow before leaving the suite.

"So, you'd be upset if I booked ten ladies to come over and see me?" Blood asked in an amused tone.

"Do whatever you want, but I'm locking you all in the second bedroom," Beth replied with a shrug.

"Hmm, maybe," Blood said, continuing to browse the menu.

Beth, meanwhile, explored the suite a little more, seeing that the full kitchen had a massive fridge stocked with everything imaginable. There was an entire bar in the corner of the central room that was almost overflowing with liquor bottles, Beth recognizing at the very least the bottle she had taken a picture of in the Seven Lights booth. Venturing out onto the deck, she found another, smaller control panel that controlled everything about the pool and hot tub. The pool's temperature could be adjusted from something just below freezing, leading her to believe it wasn't water, or just water, circulating in there, to something a little above boiling. She supposed different species would have different preferences, though she kept the setting at something around seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit.

Just as she was finishing investigating the outdoor area, noting that it was set up in such a way that it was open to the sky but not exposed to any other suite, she heard a knocking at the front door. She walked back into the central room, giving Blood a look, but the wolf just glanced at her and shrugged in response, one eyebrow raised in puzzlement. Beth moved through the main room and to the front door, twisting the fancy inner doorknob and swinging it open. She just stood there for a moment, staring stupidly, as a near-seven-feet dragon woman with black scales and purple eyes was standing in the hallway staring back.

"Uh, can I come in?" Sera asked.

"Uh, yeah, sorry, sure, no problem," Beth stammered, almost stumbling out of the way to allow the woman into their suite. Blood, who had turned to see what was happening, gave Sera a bit of a once over before returning to the console. Beth shut the door behind Sera with an audible click, wincing just slightly at the noise.

"So, uh, what's up?" Beth asked before immediately feeling like diving out the window and off the balcony. The hottest woman she'd ever seen, who'd given her the best kiss she could possibly imagine, and she asked, 'what's up?' She really needed to get her head checked at some point sooner rather than later.

"Well, I thought I might stop by and see how you're settling in," Sera replied and Beth could see, just for a fraction of a second, the wince that happened after that. That, somehow, put her mind at ease, knowing that this gorgeous, assertive, sexy woman was also nervous and fumbling.

"Well, it's our first time somewhere like here, but I think we're getting by," Beth said, glancing over at Blood, who was still fiddling with the menu. "Blood, leave it for a minute, would you?"

Blood's ears flicked at Beth's exasperated tone, finally turning from the screen and walking over to them. She slumped down on the couch to the side of Sera, her armor and clothes disappearing in the process.

"Blood! Come on now," Beth grumbled, exasperated.

"Come on right back at you," Blood growled. "Look at how's she's dressed, you think she'll mind?"

"Fine, whatever," Beth sighed, shaking her head in exasperation.

"You two make a cute couple," Sera said.

"Except we're not together," Beth replied, waving her hand back and forth between her and Blood.

"Oh, really? That's surprising," Sera said, sauntering over and wrapping her arms around Beth's neck and shoulders. "Does that mean your available?"

"Well, yeah…" Beth replied, hesitant.

"What's wrong?" Sera asked. She quickly disentangled herself and took a step back, however, saying, "Sorry, I should have asked if you were comfortable. I can be a little…forward."

"No, no. It's no problem," Beth replied. She stepped back into Sera's personal space and put a hand on her scaled hip. The dragon woman took that as permission and put her arms around Beth's shoulders again, leaning down and giving her another kiss. There was something purely electric about it, setting Beth's nerves on fire and bringing her such a warm and pleasant sensation that she couldn't help gasping into Sera's mouth. The dragon responded with a small chuckle, directly into Beth's mouth, which made her break the kiss while laughing.

"Not my best first kiss with someone," Sera muttered.

"It was our second, to be fair," Beth replied with a grin.

"Damn, I already really, really like you," Sera said with a return grin, leaning down and kissing Beth again. They held it until a noise interrupted them, Beth realizing it was Blood turning on the wallscreen.

"Nothing like ruining a moment," Beth muttered.

"Get a damn room," Blood shot back, though with a joking tone.

"We're in one," Beth grumbled, breaking free from Sera to sit on the couch, though she found herself entangled a moment later as the dragon woman sat beside her, their hips and thighs touching while Sera leaned to the side and wrapped her right arm around Beth's shoulders.

Sera leaned further forward and looked beyond Beth to look at Blood, asking, "Do you mind us carrying on?"

"No, I'm not bothered by it," Blood replied seriously, leaning over and giving Sera a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh, I like both of you more and more," Sera murmured, leaning against Beth and kissing her on the cheek while giving Blood a wink.

"Sorry, can we pause for just a second? I have a question, or a couple questions," Beth asked, though she didn't remove her own arm from around Sera's waist. She had been able to easily slide her arm there as Sera was sitting at just a bit of an angle to allow her tail to snake out above her left butt cheek, which made a gap between her back and the couch.

"Sure, sorry. Like I said, I'm a little…loose? Free?" Sera said with a grin.

"Right, sorry, but, uh, why'd you come here? Not that I'm not happy about it," Beth said, waving her free hand in front of her as she stammered through her response.

"Haha, it's fine," Sera said. "I just, well, felt something earlier, when I kissed you in the hall. I haven't felt something like that…ever, actually, though that doesn't mean all that much. I'm only forty years old, after all."

"Well, I'm…actually not that much younger, if I think about having spent time in compressed time," Beth said with a slight frown.

"How old are you in objective?" Sera asked curiously, leaning against her. Despite having literally just met her, Beth felt one hundred percent comfortable with Sera and her closeness, leaning back into her in response.

"I'm nineteen, objective time," Beth replied.

"Wow, that's even younger than me!" Sera exclaimed with a laugh. "And you can already afford to rent a luxury suite here."

"Well, yes and no," Beth said with a chuckle. "We could afford it, but the Blue Queen put this stay on the house. We're doing some work for her."

"Wait, so you're going to be a co-worker?" Sera exclaimed, hugging Beth with both arms.

"No, no, not like that," Beth laughed. "I think she has somewhere she needs somebody to go and retrieve something. I'm not really sure."

"Oh ho, I see. You'll have to tell me all about it," Sera said, leaning in and kissing Beth's cheek.

"Oh, I will," Beth said with a smile. "But maybe we should do introductions, at this point?"

"Blood stars, I'm a ditz," Sera said with a warm, deep chuckle. "I'm Seraphinalla Narzareen Andromeda Schwarzdracchen, but because that's an awful mouthful of nonsense, I just go by Sera. I'm the youngest daughter of the clan leader of the Black Dragon Clan."

"Holy shit, you're like royalty or something," Beth breathed, getting a quick, electric kiss for her trouble.

"Nah, nothing like that, just some rich girl that doesn't even care about the money," Sera said with another little chuckle.

"Well, I'm Beth and this is Blood, and we're from a world that just integrated less than two years ago," Beth said, giving Sera's waist a small squeeze.

"Just integrated? And you're this strong?!" Sera exclaimed. Beth thought some of her surprise might be a bit fake, and also noted something very long, flexible, and scaled starting to wind up her left leg, the leg that was currently pressed against Sera.

"I mean, we like fighting, and we've had some opportunities," Beth replied with a shrug.

"Still, you've done three rebirths in less than two years? That's crazy progress. Is this your first day off since the integration?" Sera asked with a small chuckle, something that Beth was thinking was common for her to do.

"I mean, it might be our second day off?" Beth asked hesitantly.

"We've had a couple days off, and I mean only a couple, but yeah, it's been rough," Blood said, flicking through programs on the wallscreen.

"But enough about us! I'm curious, how did you wind up getting into this work?" Beth asked, very clearly diverting the topic.

"Oh, that's an easy one," Sera said with a deep, throaty chuckle. Beth felt like her voice was warm honey tea on a cold day. "I got into a big fight, figurative, with one of my cousins. The details aren't that important, but we wound up betting on a fight, not figurative, to settle our differences. If I won, he would have to do everything I said for a year, and if he won, I would have to come work here for five years. Well, despite how much of an annoying asshole he is, he was stronger than me, and I lost the duel."

"That really sucks," Beth said sympathetically.

"Nah, it's great. I get to have sex all the time for five years, and I even get paid for it! What's not to like?" Sera exclaimed, laughing as she rubbed against Beth.

"Well, can't really argue with that," Beth said, wrapping her other arm around Sera and holding her close. "Oh, uh, sorry to ask something else weird, but it's okay for you to be here, right?"

"Haha, of course," Sera replied. "I'm on free time right now, so I can do whatever, or whoever, I want."

"Wow. Was that, uh, a proposition?" Beth asked, feeling the dragon woman's massive breast pressing against her own, more modest breast, through her CRA clothing.

"If you want it to be," Sera rumbled in response. Beth noted Sera's body ran quite hot, though it didn't bother her at all, but she could feel heat radiating off Sera quite clearly through her clothing.

"Oh, I really do," Beth said, barely finishing the statement before getting a deep, passionate kiss from the dragon woman. It was just as powerful and electric the fourth time as it was the first, Beth practically melting into it as she gripped Sera tighter.
