---

It has been about thirty minutes since the announcement.

Through the short frame of time, Saquin has watched in fascination as the whole facility went from pure disbelief to panic as they could not deny the reality that stood before them.

Empowered individuals are truly different from normal humans. They are highly composed and are almost certainly with a working brain in their heads.

This is not just due to the fact that everyone of them had gone through the Trial and passed. But also due to their immediate environment.

They lived in a world of hierarchy, both through position and strength. Each day, they have to dance in this dangerous world where just breathing in the wrong presence could cost you your life.

Where there was the ever looming threat of attack, not just from fellow rogue Empowered but also from the ever present Zombiekind. The foreign aliens also had their spot in those to be wary of, not to talk of the local ones that could rebel at a heartbeat.

The world of the Empowered, despite its beauty, was not an easy place to live. With power comes knowledge. Knowledge of the amount of things that could snuff your dear life off.

Living in such a world, you would understandably develop the rationale to survive.

Saquin was reminded of this when he watched them recover from their panic and gather themselves in mere minutes.

Before long, they had started gathering information about the imminent Access formation.

Saquin also finally saw the facility's security top brass. The trio whose energies he had sensed earlier.

They were two middle-aged men and a young lady.

Hank, the strongest of the trio and undoubtedly the oldest, quickly took charge of operations. While Dan, the other middle-aged male, got in contact with the top echelon of the city, including the mayor and the powers residing here.

The young lady amongst them was named Kristen. Saquin evaluated her to be quite young, most probably in her early twenties. She took charge of rallying up Empowered fighters.

As for Star and her classmates, Saquin noted that they had retired to a room in the facility, most likely contemplating on what to do next. They also had been shocked when the alert popped up, but they had recovered even faster than the Facility's workers. That much was expected from them as they were from HATA academy.

Thirty minutes in, another pulse of Senar surge hit the whole city.

From the time interval, it could be inferred that the Access formation would likely take place within the next two hours.

After the time frame had been confirmed, a sense of impending doom filled the whole facility. But this did not stall their movement, an emergency evacuation alert has been issued through the whole city.

Both the Empowered and normal humans under the city legal security body had been deployed to help the evacuation process.

This was a fortress city created with the intent of war against monster hordes in mind, the evacuation process clearly reflected this fact. It was not just a smooth process, where the majority of citizens fully cooperated, it was also a well thought out one too.

The citizens were not being evacuated to an underground city, reinforced bunker or any thing of sorts. They were being transported to other major cities through the multiple Teleportation Station hidden around the city.

The most advanced city always had a maximum of three Teleportation Stations, one for the public, one for the top powers and the last for military and emergency situations. But from the briefing Saquin saw, there were at least seven in the fortress city.

One thing that stood out to him is that all this, the multiple Teleportation Station, the energy barrier that had been activated to its maximum level, and other energy using government facilities was being powered solely by the small Core he was currently staring at.

Just what is this Core?

As he was paying attention to the various operations, he was being paid a great deal of attention too. Practically, all the major city players that had appeared in the facility since the beginning of the whole drama had stared at him both discreetly and boldly. Though none of them had dared mustered up the courage to come over to talk to him.

Forty minutes in.

He received a text from Mayor about the finalization of the deal documents which he promptly signed. Apparently they had been trying to call him to no avail. At that moment, he contemplated whether to recall Shalis but later decided against it, it was only a Tier 3 Access. He could not stand against it by himself, but he sure as hell can escape anytime he wants.

Fifty minutes in.

Saquin finally moved from the spot where he stood staring at the core.

Might as well go ask what they want.

He walked straight over to the operation room, no one obstructed his advance. He unceremoniously entered, inside he saw Hank addressing a group of well dressed people.

The top powers of the city. He concluded.

Nate and his classmate were also present in the room.

So, they decided to stay.

He nodded at them as he approached Hank on the podium. Star got more than a nod though, a sly smirk and a wink was gifted to her by him.

Reaching the podium, he climbed it without waiting for Hank to protest. Both the World Will and Miss Margaret had wanted him to act like an universal-class young master and he was gladly killing the role.

At least he thinks he is.

"I want to address everyone." He said to Hank as soon as he stood on the podium.

"Hmm." Hank stared at him for a moment before he nodded.

Saquin did not bother to thank the man and just turned to address the whole room. There were a lot of hostile faces from his earlier chaos but he paid them no attention.

"Okay, I have noticed that a lot of you keep staring at me. What is it you want? Spill." Saquin stated directly.

"Oh, that." Hank started speaking. "We were just wondering if Your Eminence guardian was still around."

"Oh, you mean Shalis?" Saquin tilted his head. "What do you want with her?"

"We were just wondering if she could provide a bit of assistance with the Access." Hank said gently.

"Oh! Now, I understand." Saquin nodded, then, "she is not around, I had her go do something for me."

"Yea? But I feel like she should not be by your side to protect you?" Hank raised a brow, skeptical.

"First, I don't need her protection, not here. Second, neither do you guys." Saquin replied.

"What do you mean?" Hank blinked.

"Well, that Access is not forming any time soon so stop your worry. You guys would have all made it out before it forms." Saquin said confidently.

"Huh? How sure-"

"100% sure." Saquin cut him off. He is not just basing his confidence on his Divine sense of Senar but also on his senses as the Prince Of Space. "You do not need to worry about it, focus on the evacuation. In fact, let's do this. State to the evacuating citizens that all legal properties they may have lost as a result from this evacuation would be reimbursed in monetary value."

"What?!" The whole room was shocked.

"Yes, I will fund it all, no problem." Saquin dismissed the rowdiness with a wave. "Plus, tell the working personnel, both Empowered or not, that are helping with the evacuation that they would be paid thrice their income as a reward for their effort."

The whole room went silent.

"This..." Hank hesitated. How sure was he that Saquin would come through with his promise when his guardian could just whisk him away anytime she wishes and they would be powerless to stop her.

"To show I am sincere.." Saquin took out his Comm, went on the Net. Navigated to the city official website and clicked "Donate".

After a few clicks, he flipped the Comm to show Hank, then the room.

With their Empowered eyesight they could see the content on the screen.

-> Reris Bank: { You have successfully sent Ten Million Credits (10,000,000) to Oke City Official Account. }

The whole room sucked in a good amount of air.

Just who the hell was this kid?

"See? just do it." Saquin said as he placed his Comm back into his pocket. "You have nothing to worry about seriously, as long as the Access point is not magically spatially compromised, we are good."

Saquin had not taken more than a few steps down the podium before he paused.

"Shhhhh."

He hissed a breath as he gently turned towards Hank.

"Would you look at that? It was..."
