Eventually the two presences retreated, becoming subdued and restrained as both companions reigned them in. It took some work to do so but both felt it worthwhile to learn to restrain it when not needed.

As it did they pulled back and began to look over their new and improved status, they both knew that they already felt much stronger than before, they were quite eager to find out exactly how much stronger they had turned out to be.

Violet checked hers first, sharing the details with Luna as she looked through it.

She first noted that all of her stats seemed to have been boosted by a flat 25 each, it was something that instantly improved her overall strength in every aspect. That coupled with her now gaining 9 fixed stats each level, on top with 5 bonus stats each level truly made each progressive level that she would gain mean that much more.

Furthermore, Violet could feel that her ability to utilise her stats had taken a qualitative jump forward. Each stat point she had now contributing more to her overall strength.

Then their was her new skill, Dragon Breath. She wasn't quite sure how breathing was supposed to be a new skill, but Luna seemed suitably excited for her to try it out, so it couldn't be too bad right? She did want to test it out right now but was persuaded not to do so in an enclosed space.

Still despite the 'lacking' new skill, at least in violets eyes. She felt powerful. And was already looking forward to testing out her new power soon!

Luna went next, happily explaining how her status had changed.

Similar to Violet, Luna too felt that qualitative change in how each stat point was now utilized by her body. Providing a much greater boost in overall strength than the flat 25 bonus to all stats that she already received.

The next thing that she noted was that she now had two new skills, both of which Violet already had, and both of which Luna was very relieved to have received. The new skills being shapeshift and telepathy.

The former would allow her to retake her humanoid form and the latter would allow her to communicate in her beast form. Both abilities that she truly appreciated, she was quite worried that she would be unable to ever retake her old appearance, thankfully it seemed like that would not be the case.

And she decided to use her shapeshift to see if anything had changed with her shift to a full beast, or if she will retain her original appearance.

Activating the skill her form shimmered with an iridescent light, shifting between white and blue as her figure shifted. Several seconds later stood Luna, back in her humanoid form, yet she had changed. Her overall look was still the same, yet it now held an edge. A wildness that was previously absent, her once soft face now held a sharpness that was previously absent.

Violet first noted her eyes, where once they were of the deepest Arctic blue, now they still retained that colour, but would also shift to a iridescent white, only to shift back to blue. Her cheekbones sat a touch more prominent, her nose a touch sharper, the curve of her lips a hint more exaggerated. Luna's already abundant charm now gained a lethal grace to it that alluded to both care and compassion mixed with a feral ferocity should she be trifled with.

As for her body, well she became both more curvaceous yet leaner at the same time. Defined musculature shaped her torso, showing off her powerful physique. Her arms and legs rippled with subdued muscles, brimming with explosive power, yet not excessively. Her hips and chest grew slightly, but with the rest of the changes to her figure it only served to enhance her lethal beauty.

Violet stood in awe for several moments, taking in her companions new form. Something about it spoke to her on a instinctive level, causing her to unconsciously shapeshift herself. It was then that Violet realised that she was now actually slightly smaller than Luna in her humanoid form. Something that Luna quickly noted, bringing a sly smile to her lips as she too looked back at Violet.

Violet's form had not changed very much after her evolution, her horns grew ever so slightly, and her tail was now a touch thicker and longer. The most noticeable chance wa that her split violet eyes now held a etherial glow to them hinting at the power that they contained.

The two transformed beasts stared at each other in transfixed delight, each overflowed with the changes brought upon them by the evolution, their emotions ricocheting across their bond, growing in intensity with each pass.

As the bubbling emoutions grew between them smiles graced their respective lips, each of them basking in their shared joy, love and affection for the other. Unconsciously Violet took a step forward, her actions mirrored by Luna. The two now finding themselves close together, their noses almost touching and their eyes locked on the others.

Both of their hands moved at the same time, finding their companions own and being grasped between them, each gently squeezing to physically show their care for the other. Luna was the one to make the next move, she didn't quite know what she was doing, but having seen some of the adults from her clan do so she leaned forwards a touch, bringing her lips down to gently press against Violet's own. It was a brief, chaste kiss, full of nervous passion and youthful ignorance, yet the young Arctic Leopard did not know how else to express her feelings at that moment.

Violet who was initially quite surprised at her companions actions took a moment to process what happened. She did not know why Luna had pressed her lips against her own or had any idea what that action might signify. But she did know one thing. When their lips touched a surge of nervous excitement broke through their bond, swiftly followed by a feeling of worry when she noticed the confusion that must have been plastered across Violet's face.

So in her attempt to reassure her companion and because she did find the action quite appealing, Violet leaned forwards herself and repeated the actions of her friend, lover and companion. A second chaste kiss was shared between the two girls as they tried to express their burgeoning feelings, neither knowing what to do but both also experiencing a contented simmering of their overflowing emotions at the action.

It was only then that Luna finally noticed a singularly important fact. Both Luna Dan Violet were stark naked after their transformation into humanoid form. A bright flush spread across the Leopards face, turning her pale skin a rosy pink in embarrassment. She shyly pulled back and went to pull out her armour, only to realise that it was not in her storage device, or anywhere in sight. It was then that she made a horrifying discovery.

As beasts did not normally have clothing on when undergoing the evolution process it was not something that would ever normally be noticed. But as it turns out when the vast energies of the world coalesced to form their shells during the process, it has the unfortunate side effect of completely destroying anything other than the individual undergoing said evolution. So despite all of the trials and tribulations that her trusty armour had undergone ever since acquiring it. What had finally destroyed her armour was not a cataclysmic attack, or continual abuse. But in fact it was the world itself coupled with her own perhaps rash move to chose to evolve into a true beast.

And so it was that with a flushed face and an embarrassed smile that Luna spoke. "Umm Violet, it would appear that I will need you to supply me with something to wear."

A wide predatory smile rose on Violet's face upon hearing those words, memories of all the times that Luna had forced Violet to dress up in countless outfits running through her powerful mind. So with growing delight Violet replied with a dangerously happy tone. "Why of course, we will need to find just the right thing for you to wear!"
