Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven

Chapter 142: Six Armed War Vajra

' Who are you?'

' And you are?'

Orochi and Ved asked at the same time. The monk bowed, his bald head shining like gold.

" These two venerables may address me as the golden monk." Orochi growled threateningly, ' Whoever you are, stay out of this.'

Ved looked at the monk strangely, ' Why would a human interfere with the battle between those of the beast race?'

The monk smiled and spread out his arms, " All beings are equal under the palm of Buddha, as long as you change your ways, all your negative karma will be cleansed."

Ved growled, ' As he said, stay out of this.' the monk sighed, " I'm afraid that's not possible, your actions have caused much distress upon others.

I am not one for violence but I'm afraid if you do not stop, I will be forced to personally take action." Ved frowned, he didn't trust this monk one bit nor did he appreciate being threatened.

In almost all of the novels he had read in his past life, people like this monk were always hypocrites who preached righteousness but did the opposite.

Before he could say anything, Orochi responded, ' So be it ' Some of his water spikes turned and faced the monk them shot off.

They flew towards Ved and the monk like a heavy rain. Ved shot his swords in response, like Orochi he sent some of them towards the monk.

When the water spikes met the swords they shattered first, Ved's swords were tougher but their momentum was significantly reduced after.

Shockwaves spread through the clouds whenever they collided causing thunderous sounds that shook the sky. Ved turned some of his attention towards the monk wanting to see how he will block so many attacks.

The monk tilted his bowl towards the flying swords and spikes. A golden liquid spilled out of the bowl forming a vast surging golden river, the sound of clashing waves filled the sky.

The river drowned their attacks, the golden water was as heavy as a mountain, it grinded against their attacks until it shaved them into nothing.

The people below exclaimed, a man with a katana and long black hair looked at this battle of calamitous proportions with determination in his eyes.

Then he left the protection of the city barrier and went to the mountains, the world around him shook from the shockwaves, winds howled, giant tornadoes rose to the sky like dancing snakes uprooting trees and stones alike but his feet never left the ground, he stood stable like an unshakable mountain.

Then he sat down crossed legged letting the three majestic auras press on him like falling boulders. He was using the battle of three being an entire rank above him to temper himself and it was working.

His aura started changing, growing stronger and heavy as a mountain, his will became denser, it started solidifying slowly, essence energy surged towards him in waves, after this it wouldn't take long for him to undergo rank 4 tribulation.

The three of them all saw of this, Orochi was indifferent, he only cared about the strong. Ved grinned, he admired the man's bravery, Ved could tell this man was very young, probably born after the fall.

The monk smiled gently, " Good child, good child" he whispered then turned towards the two of them.

" Are you benefactors still not willing to see the fault in your ways?" Orochi responded to the question with a massive bolt of blue lightning.

The golden river surged and jumped up like it had a life of it own. When the two met, a blinding blue and gold light lit up the sky, turning night into day.

Ved didn't interfere, " Why did not take the chance to attack me benefactor? you had the perfect opportunity." Ved didn't understand why the monk kept calling them benefactors or venerables, they were neither of those, or did the monk have no other way to respectfully address them.?

Ved scoffed, ' Who do you think I am, I'm Ved the king of beasts, how would I do something so cowardly and disgraceful?' to be honest he was not above ganging up on someone under certain conditions.

The monk looked surprised, " King of beasts? Are you the one they call the beast of Vengeance?"

Ved neither denied nor agreed to it. He should mention that this avatar did the same thing here in Asia so his reputation has spread far and wide.

He did not regret his actions nor did he feel guilty, not after seeing the things humans did to spiritual beasts. The monk sighed, " Benefactor's actions have accumulated him much negative karma.

If you do not cleanse it, I'm afraid it will catch up to you. While I cannot claim to understand your fury, I do not believe their crimes were deserving of such cruelty."

Ved scoffed, ' Do not presume to lecture me monk. You speak of cruelty yet you stood and watched as your kind tortured and murdered my own.

Or are you implying the lives of my people matter less than humans?' while talking, he fired two bolts of lightning, one at the monk, the other at Orochi.

The river moved and blocked the lightning bolt. Orochi blocked it with an earth shield " I do apologize for the crimes of my people against yours." The monk bowed, " That was partly my negligence, i focused too much on seeking Nirvana neglecting the world"

He raised his head and looked at Ved, " However no matter what they've done, surely there was a more peaceful solution."

Ved sighed, ' I do not expect you to understand monk, they're your own, you will defend them regardless of their actions even if you claim otherwise.

However I will also defend my own.' the monk sighed, Ved expected him to retort, " Perhaps you are right, I'm still failing to see things from your point.

It seems I still hold bias in my heart, it is only natural, afterall I am still human but it is not just, as Buddha said, all life is equal under the heavens.

I must leave the temple and roam the world, only then will i understand the suffering of the people. I promise to do my utmost to extinguish prejudice against your people.

However before that, I'm afraid I still have to stop you from harming any more people." Ved was surprised, he didn't expect the monk to agree with him and take accountability.

Then he became vigilant, the monk's aura changed, ever since the fight started, the monk had been on the defensive but it appeared he was about to attack.

The golden river surged as if it was boiling, waves rose to the heavens, then six golden hand came out, grabbed onto the river like it was solid and dragged themselves out.

Then three heads appeared and continued rising above the water, before long the entire body, what appeared was a massive six armed, three headed golden Vajra.

It stood at 500 metres tall, much larger than even Orochi, Ved might as well been an ant compared to it. The river shrunk when the Vajra appeared.

Then the remaining golden water turned into six different objects and flew to the Vajra's hands. " Six Armed War Vajra." The monk whispered.
