As the army of rank 4 beasts lunged, Cat was the first to move. With a massive grin she jumped off the city wall dropping hundreds of metres below.

Naledi did not stop her this time. She jumped as well and her army followed her. Thousands of humans jumped off the wall to meet the beast army.

Naledi and the other rank 4 ignored the other beasts. They flew above them like streaks of lights heading straight for the massive rank 4 beasts at back of the army.

Hundreds of rank 4 beasts roared and shook the sky. The others took out their vessels, ( Sword of Four Seasons: Sakura Bloom.) Haruko help up his katana.

An illusory forest of peach blossoms bloomed around him. He swung the katana at the approaching beast army and a wave of pink leaves flew at it.

Roars of pain and rage filled the air as tens of thousands of low rank beasts died one after the other, tiny leaf blades cut their organs into shreds.

This was a crowd control ability, it lacked destructive power but it was still powerful enough to kill lower ranked beasts.

The rank 4 beasts on the other hand suffered tens of thousands of tiny wounds as the razor sharp leaves cut through their thick hides.

They roared with fury and attacked. Massive fireballs, lightning bolts, water arrows etc. All types of attacks flew at them like rain.

The attacks were so numerous they blotted out the sun. " Dying Snow." Naledi whispered.

The world lost it colour and seemed to slow down. A tiny snowflake floated gently towards the wave of attacks.

A small feeble looking snowflake against an entire wave of world ending attacks. The soldiers on the wall did not have hope for it.

Although they trusted their leader, they couldn't help but doubt the power of such a tiny snowflake.

However they stood frozen by what they saw next, the snowflake touched the attack at the front, a beam of light that was moving faster than the others.

However when they touched, every attack stood frozen at once as if stuck in time. Then they crumbled into snow all at once.

The world stood still for a moment, snow floated gently to the ground. The beast army stopped it charge and roars, the world grew quiet.

Then a massive winged tiger roared. It flagged it giant wings, a sound like clashing swords filled the air as it sharp golden feathers collided with each other.

Then it flew towards Naledi like a missile, however before it could reach her, a tiny figure appeared Infront of it like a shadow.

Cat had intercepted the tiger, a golden sheen glowing over her skin. She grinned, the tiger had no time to react before a tiny fist landed on it forehead.

A calamitous shockwave blasted out killing the lower ranked beasts below. The tiger's skull cracked, blood leaked out and it flew back even faster.

It hit the ground tens of kilometres away like a missile creating a massive crater stretching for dozens of kilometres. However they all frowned when they saw the results.

The tiger was still alive, they all knew how powerful Cat's punches were, especially in her Gold wine state which increases her physical strength and durability significantly.

" They're stronger than expected." Whispered Aira. She shook her bird cage and hundreds of golden array circles appeared around a massive rhino.

Before the beast could react, chains flew out of the array circles and bound it. Then a golden cube surrounded it trapping it inside.

The cube started shrinking, crushing the rhino but it skin was too thick and it bones were too tough. Aira frowned, her essence blazed crushing the ground beneath her feet.

The rhino started breaking, it skin cracked and blood leaked out. In mere seconds she had crushed it into a tiny bloody cube the size of a fist.

However the frown on her face grew deeper. Naledi looked at her, " This will be harder than we expected.", she said, Aira nodded.

The others didn't waste a second, Siri sent out her own army of beasts, though outnumbered they had better coordination making them harder to deal with.

Cat lunged straight into the army of beasts crushing a buffalo charging towards her under her foot.

General Ndlovu turned into a massive 8 metres tall giant with obsidian metal like skin.

His body grew so heavy the ground cracked under his weight. Ndu became a 10 metres tall giant with a massive round shield.

An axe constructed of energy appeared in his hand and he lunged at the army. Cathra retreated to the back, huge wood golems appeared around her protecting her.

She was going to provide support alongside Aira, their roles were not direct confrontation but providing support for the others.

Then they met the army, hundreds of rank 4 beasts attacked them with everything they had.

Naledi moved, her body blurred then vanished. She moved so fast not a single person managed to follow her movements.

Before anybody could react they saw a massive beast head soaring through the air, the wound on it neck frozen solid.

Then a rain of icicles dropped from the sky killing tens of thousands of low rank beasts. Even some of the rank 4 with weaker defense suffered significant damage.

They all turned their attention towards her. She swung her sword sending a blue crescent slash at them.

They used everything in their power to stop the sword slash. Their barrage of attacks managed to shave away at the sword slash until it disappeared.

Explosions and shockwaves continued shaking the ground creating massive ridges, their destructive power was creating a massive canyon.

Naledi looked around and saw the beasts trying to scatter and attack from different directions.

She realised their true purpose and it shook her. " CITY, THEY'RE TRYING TO ATTACK THE CITY." this was not normal behaviour for demonic beasts.

In a beast tide they always try to attack the awakened humans as they are the ones whose bodies can speed up their own cultivation.

However this time they were specifically targeting the city filled with mortals. She was certain now, somebody was controlling these beasts, an intelligent being was behind this tide.

She frowned, ' Is it the spiritual beasts?' she wondered but everybody knew all the spiritual beasts around here served the beast king.

Only a few isolated weak clans don't serve him directly but even they were under his protection and reverend him.

They were so loyal they were willing to die for him so it's unlikely they would cause a beast tide without his orders, something or somebody else was at play here.

" Alex, where are you?" She whispered to the air.
