As the orcs opened up more gates, the world barrier weakened further. This not only drew the attention of sovereigns but other things as well.
The orcs did manage to bring their armies through but it barely helped. The earth armies were still too strong.
An entire year after the orc invasion started. A gate opened in the heart of China. Humans were already living in fear, hiding in shelters and bunkers.
Had it not been for Linglong acting as a deterrent for the orcs, they would've been completely enslaved by now.
Linglong's army stood close watching the gate. The gate looked a bit different from that of the orcs.
Less crude, it was rectangular and it edges were surrounded by a blue solidified energy, it looked almost like a door.
They became vigilant and expected more orcs or one of their slave races to come out.
However what came out was something different entirely. A three metres tall woman with blue skin, purple eyes and a single horn on her forehead.
The woman was dressed in beautiful armour decorated with runic arrays, it was obviously a powerful artefacts.
It was a known fact that only humans could bring out the true power of an artefacts but other races can use them too to an extent, except spiritual beasts.
The moment she appeared the world seemed to freeze. Power radiated from her like sun rays.
However the woman was not alone, behind her came out another, a man slightly taller than her but had just as much power.
The two of them stood to the side like guards which surprised the beast army. The shark general stood tense.
He was the strongest of lady Linglong's subordinates, even stronger than the wise turtle however right now his every being was telling him to run.
These people were more dangerous than the orcs. Out of the gate came out more people dressed like royal servants of sort.
Then suddenly came out a group of burly man, on their shoulders was a palanquin covered in a red veil.
He could faintly see a feminine figure behind the veils. The palanquin was set down and the envoy looking group split apart.
The beast army grew more tense. " Which one of you is the leader?" A beautiful voice came from the palanquin.
The army stood silent for a while then just as the shark general was about to stand forward a familiar voice came behind him.
" That would be me." The army turned and saw a graceful figure approaching them, her feet barely touched the ground with each step she took.
Jade hair cascaded down behind her like a waterfall. On her heard were two massive antlers.
She was wearing a long Jade coloured dress decorated with cloud dragons. Linglong had arrived, her army relaxed a bit.
" Hoh, a projection realm sea dragon, interesting, you would make a fine mount." The voice said in amusement.
Linglong giggled, although not at full power yet she can already use a bit of essence which is why she was able to use the transformation technique and take human form.
As a dragon she was insulted by what the other party had just said but she was more than just a beast so she did not lash out immediately.
" You're quite amusing, normally I would kill you for your insolence but fortunately for you I'm need of a maid, though lacking, you will suffice for now."
The envoy grew quiet as none of them had expected such a reply. The two projection realm guards tensed up ready for battle at any moment
The person on the palanquin started laughing. " What an amusing beast, no one has ever talked to me like that in the 400 years of my life.
You know what, I'll grant you the honours of knowing my name before you die, be grateful.
I am Kofu Arkhala, 8th princess of the Arkhalam, it will be your honour to die by my hands."
Linglong turned to address her army. " Leave, send a message to the people of the black king, tell them a new enemy has arrived."
" But my lady.." they tried to protest but she just gave them a warning look, reluctantly they turned around and ran off.
One of the guard tried to stop them but princess Kofu stopped him. " Let them go, they have nowhere to run anyways."
Linglong knew things were about to get serious, all of three of them gave her a more dangerous feeling than the orcs ever did.
Yet instead of being scared she was excited, she had never had a challenging battle since she was born, this will be the first and as a dragon, it excited her.
As Linglong faced the Arkhalam, more races invaded throughout the world. The most terrifying being those from the Ahnunaki.
They were massive beings standing over 4 metres tall. Each had a slim body, they had different coloured skins.
Some pitch black, others pure white and some blue but each had a decoration of light that shone like stars on their bodies.
Those lights drew intricate patterns on their bodies further enhancing their beauty. Those were their natural patterns, a symbol of their power and pride.
The white Ahnunaki had blue stars, the blacks had golden starts while the blues had dark purple stars.
Their power was beyond anything ever seen. Only a few them came, a single one of them was able to fight both Nimue and Novak and even push them back.
Another terrifying race was those of the Celestial Light Empire. They looked exactly like humans except they were a bit larger and had massive white wings behind them.
They were the Nephilim, believed to be children of the Angels and humans. They were as strong and as prideful as the Ahnunaki.
And those two races made the effort to avoid each other. Just like that, the situation changed and earth became a playground for other races competing on who will own it.
Realising the situation was dire, spiritual beasts and humans banded together to resist the invaders.
However a group of unknown humans suddenly showed up and changed the situation for the humans once more.
Their cities were rebuilt and even expanded. The beasts further leant the humans had submitted to this new human empire.
The beasts left alone without protection, only a few projection realm leaders who can barely measure up and a sole dragon who can't fight everybody by herself.
They were forced back, hunted and enslaved to be made rides or even sex toys for those with certain tastes.
Even the humans of earth had turned against them. As their cities fell, they prayed to the king to save them.
Their tears turned into rivers and their pleas cut through the air and reverberated across the entire world, just like that, three years passed.
Deep in a certain minor world on top of a pitch black tower stood a massive egg, the egg had sat there for four years unmoving and unchanging.
Suddenly a crack appeared on it shell.
