Ved was of course bluffing. He did plant bombs on a lot of cities but he wasn't capable of doing it across the entire world in a month.
However it didn't matter, the bluff was meant to be a deterrent. He knew he would have to use somebody as an example.
Unsurprisingly in less than a week the replies came. Some mocking and some threatening him.
He smiled coldy. Now what he needed to consider was who to use as an example. He had two options.
One use the city of the crisified. He has managed to keep those people alive for so long, perhaps it was time to set them free.
What he did to them was simple. He placed tiny drops of his blood into them. Not enough to strengthen their bodies as his blood can.
But enough to provide them with enough vitality to not die from their wounds. This prevented them from dying.
Worst still, they were still holding their breath but just stayed at the edge of death yet never getting there.
It terrified all those who saw them. He also left a clone there to monitor things so he was aware of the hot blooded young noble.
He was one of the reasons Ved considered using that city as a example, he didn't like the guy, he looked like the hypocritical type.
However there was another more deserving city. The city of goblins, they were the ones who killed Orochi.
Ved saw his heads put on stakes for display at the centre of their city. This angered him beyond measure.
Fortunately he was able to calm himself down. Now, it was time he pay them back. He stood up and left.
Just as he left Linglong saw him. " Can I come with?" She asked. " Do you even know where I'm going?"
She shrugged. " Suit yourself." They left the minor world and took off. As night fell, they arrived above a huge city.
Ved transformed and took human form. His attire looked like Neo from the matrix but it was pure white and had a hoodie.
They descended into the centre of the city. " Break." Linglong shouted in an unfamiliar language yet Ved understood it.
The world responded to her words and the barrier around the city crumbled like a sand castle.
" Dragon tongue." Ved whispered. It was more powerful than he expected. " This child can barely use dragon tongue, her understanding of the language is low, however reaching this level without a trainer is admirable."
Manas said in his head. He was caught by surprise. What did she mean she can barely use it, she just destroyed a rank 5 barrier with a single word.
Even at his full power it would take him some effort to break this barrier. They landed at centre of the city.
" Hello old friend." Ved whispered as he looked at the severed heads of Orochi with deep sadness. Linglong bowed in his direction.
" Rest well warrior." She whispered. Then they both turned cold. Around them they could feel thousands of enemies.
They saw them through the cover of the night's darkness. Green creatures with long pointy ears.
They were around 1.4 metres tall. Individually goblins were weak but they had the reproductive ability of rabbit.
They were one of the few spiritual races who had a reproduction ability almost rivaling demonic beasts.
They depended on their large numbers to defeat enemies. That's how they defeated Orochi.
His eyes grew cold seeing them.
----------------------------------------------------------
Golongolo was sitting on his throne of bones eating the delicious hydra meat. This was their greatest hunt since arriving in this world.
It was naturally reserved for him as the leader. As the only projection realm goblin in this world, he naturally had to stay and guard the city.
He wouldn't go out to hunt himself. Back home he was one of many under the goblin king, a manifestation realm goblin.
But here he was king, he lived like royalty with only their master race the Arkhalam being able to order him around.
But those prideful giants don't bother with a weak race like his so he was left to do as he pleases.
He doubted even the denizens of this world would bother with a weak race like his. Suddenly he felt two terrifying auras.
He jumped up and flew out of his room. In a blink of an eye he appeared at the centre of the city.
He found his subordinates surrounding two people. One was a woman with long Azure hair and deer antlers.
The woman stood there with a somber look. It was the other person who terrified him the most.
Golongolo couldn't see his face as it was hidden beneath his hoodie. However he saw two slit golden eyes that radiated immense killing intent.
He immediately knew these two were not here for a friendly. " ATTACK." He shouted before he even realised what he did.
His subordinates immediately lunged at the two intruders. Golongolo expected them to at least but him some time to run.
However before he could react he saw them turn into thousands of tiny pieces. Through the blood and pieces he saw thousands of micro thin strings barely visible through the moon light.
He knew immediately he stood no chance to either of them. He turned around to run. " Stop."
He heard a voice in an unfamiliar language, his body immediately stopped moving. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't move an inch.
Fear gripped his heart and sweat started pouring down his entire body. " Pl..ea.s." he tried to talk but even his voice barely came out.
He saw the shadow of death envelope him. The golden eyes man appeared Infront of him like a shadow, he moved faster than Golongolo could see.
Even though they were both projection realm experts, the difference in their power was too immense.
He looked at the man with pleading eyes. The man smiled at him but that smile terrified him even more.
" I need you to do something for me, can you do that?" The man asked in a soft tone. Golongolo nodded as fast and hard as he could.
He felt his tongue loosen, " I will do anything, anything at all great lord." He begged and saw hope.
The man's smile widened. " I need you to deliver a message for me." Golongolo was surprised. ' That's it?'
" A message? Where?" He felt an overwhelming killing intent pressed on his shoulders like a mountain.
" Everywhere." A reply came then the world turned blue.
