The myriad race armies outside continued trying to open gate to the minor world. Just like that an entire year passed.

Ved didn't leave his minor world during this entire time, this was a rare period of peace he knew would not last.

They held Goldi's funeral, ever since learning of his death, Pulse had been down. White and the others tried their best to make her feel better but it was hard.

After a year she was a little better, she can even hold a conversation and smile though it was obvious she was still in pain.

However the peace didn't last much longer. One day Ved felt the world barrier weakening, he and Linglong appeared above the North sea.

The last of the sea kings, the ruler of the north a massive red lobster was already there with a grim face.

He bowed when the two of them appeared, he was a man of a few words so Ved let him be.

Before long the others arrived. Everybody was tense, suddenly a crack appeared. Ved tried to will the formation to strengthen the barrier to no avail.

The crack grew wider and wider with each passing second. They backed off and stood in a battle formation.

The crack spread even faster until it was over 400 metres tall and 30 metres wide. Suddenly blinding light filled the world.

When it cleared and army of tens of thousands appeared. Ved didn't understand how they made everybody pass through the barrier at once.

However it didn't matter, White was the first to attack. After a year her realm was stable, unlike Linglong and Naledi, their realms stabilized earlier because they were weaker.

Lightning exploded around her, she used her telekinesis to make her attacks even faster. However it was easily dispersed with a single sweep of a sword from a knight.

"ATTACK." The leader of the army shouted. Ved didn't need to tell his people to defend themselves.

Immediately abilities flew flew through the air turning the sky into a battlefield. The sea below rose like a beast.

Ursela could be heard laughing, the ocean rose like a pillar and consumed the army, water creatures rose inside the water pillar, the water turned red with blood.

However the battle wasn't one sided, to begin with his people were outnumbered by far.

He watched as his soldiers die one after another. However he couldn't help them, he was surrounded by over 40 projection realm experts.

Linglong had it even worse, more than twice as many were facing her. She immediately took her true form.

A jade scale dragon over 2 kilometres long. Even though she was outnumbered she was not at a disadvantage at all.

Infact she was pushing them back which surprised Ved. However his situation was not as bad either.

He was nowhere near his limit, the reason he was holding back even though his people were in danger was for a simple reason.

He didn't see any of the leaders he knew amongst the opposite army meaning there were likely more of them waiting outside.

Fortunately linglong's display of power forced them to gang up on her which reduced the pressure on the others.

Now almost every projection realm under him was only facing a single projection realm enemy which allowed them to display their power.

Pulse did not bother taking her true form, her ability didn't depend on whether she did or not.

The same goes for White, infact her case was even more special, as a member of the rabbit race, her humanoid transformation form was actually physically stronger than her true form.

Pulse's frequency ability showed it true might after she became a projection realm. She didn't just control the frequency of sound but light as well.

However this ability lacked any offensive might since she didn't have much time to practice it.

However it was great support, even for people of their level, it was hard to see without light unless they use soul sense.

However in a battlefield like this, using soul sense was hard as it would collide against others, especially his and Linglong's which were much stronger and more dominant.

So when she suddenly turned the world dark around them they were momentarily blinded giving White a chance.

She swung her lightning covered sword and took off the heads of two projection realms. The battlefield seemed to stand still for a moment, nobody expected projection realm experts to die so early in this battle.

However before she could celebrate a fireball exploded around sending waves of fire like a cloud that covered the entire sky.

Ved almost panicked but he held himself together and trusted the little battle maniac. As expected she flew out of the flame cloud unscathed.

The flames didn't even touch her body, they were held away by her an invisible telekinesis barrier.

Before the woman who attacked her, a member of a race evolved from elementals could react she found her body unable to move.

White held her in place with her telekinesis and just as she was about to crush the red skinned woman she was forced to dodge a burning spear.

A member of the same race attacked her, his power seemed even greater than the woman's. She frowned, she was again facing two opponents.

She looked around and realised everybody was facing more than one opponent. She couldn't understand how that happened then remembered the gate wasn't closed.

Ved felt the same, even at that moment he was still trying to close the gate but something was blocking him.

Then he turned his attention to another terrifying trio, the turtle family. Nimue, her recently promoted daughter Traxy and her husband Novak.

Novak took the vanguard, he had the strongest defence of the three. Nimue attacked from behind using long ranged water abilities.

Since they were above an ocean, her abilities were even stronger. Their daughter took both of their traits.

She can use both earth and water abilities, her strong defense allowed her to fight them head on without fear while her water control gave her higher offense than her father.

The trio were being besieged by multiple opponents but they were holding their own without any disadvantage, turtles were renowned for their strong defence.

Ved relaxed a bit seeing none of his friends were in danger.
