Word of Vroslogal visiting the world of Dawn spread through the entire universe. However nobody was worried.

Vroslogal was dangerous true but like all other sovereign realm void beings, he couldn't act freely under the heavens or he would be destroyed by them.

Not to mention he wasn't a direct combat type so most of the universes sovereigns can match him.

Those like Dawn were even stronger than him however they also couldn't act freely against him lest they want to start a full blown war.

But it was too early for that, the universe would lose and everybody knew that. The only reason they haven't attacked yet.

Is because the Nameless ones are still in slumber and those beings above the sovereigns are held back by their eternal war with the god realm.

However none of that had anything to do with little Earth. After the defeat of the children of the herald.

The world entered a period of peace, however not everything was so simple, one, they learnt that the dark particles would take a very long time to run out.

They were no longer as dangerous but they still caused drought, the dead would still come back if not cremated.

Diseases were still a thing and they still effected everybody with hunger and thirst while reducing the food production.

Earthquakes, tsunamis and a lot of other disasters still happen all over the world but the denizens of earth were prepared.

The humans created more formations to deal with the disasters like earthquakes. Ved and his people increased the food production and traded with the humans.

Things stabilized and if Manas was right then they had a few years to rest before another invasion from another camp of the Nameless ones.

He was glad they took care of the herald of plagues before his period was over or they would've had to deal with another invasion right after his.

However this recent invasion forced the two races to gather together for the sake of their world.

They realised that their world was in more danger than they were comfortable with. Facilities were created to monitor the state of the world.

Safe bunkers created in case of an emergency and there were military drills to get both races to know how to fight together in case of another invasion.

While all of this was happening all over the world. Ved was spending his time with Naledi in the heart of Antarctica.

They were inside her minor world in the ice palace. This place had no humans or spiritual beasts.

She had opened the gates and let the Yeti clan out. No longer contained by this minor world they started reproducing.

At first he thought the Yeti clan was a beast race but he wasn't accurate. It was a part beast clan with polar bear bloodline but it was also an entirely different race than the beast race.

He stopped thinking about them and turned his attention to the woman next to him. They were both sweating and had heavy breaths.

Even with his stamina, he was tired after doing the deep for 8 days straight without rest.

Unfortunately he had to take human form or it would've been impossible, fortunately he could now maintain it for much longer.

His record was a month, but being in human form felt a bit uncomfortable now. He decided to check his status, he hadn't done that in a while.

It had been around 18 years since the start of the invasion of the herald of plagues but the effect were yet to disappear.

The dark particles were still all over the world and occasionally they had to deal with a swarm of insects or rats.

He kissed Naledi's forehead and stood up to make them breakfast. They had installed furniture in this palace.

And he had miraculously found a way to always prevent her from making them food. Do her hard enough that she is too tired to even try.

Which wasn't easy, she had an insane amount of stamina but using essence during the deed was banned so he always came on top.

" Have you ever thought about having children?" She randomly asked him. He paused with a pan in his hand. " I don't know, having children would be nice but.."

She cut him off, " This world is too dangerous, I know but say, a hundred or a thousand years from now.

When we finally managed to make it safe, would you want to have children with me then?" He turned and looked at her then smiled.

" Of course, I would love to have children with you but I don't get where this is coming from, why are you suddenly thinking about childred?"

She shook her head, " I thought about this before, way back even before the fall. I wanted to talk to you about it you know.

But then I thought, we were still young, we had time and I kept postponing it over and over again.

Everytime I told myself I was rushing things, we had time, it could wait, you had your job and I was trying to be a doctor, we had a lot on our plates.

Then, you know, it was too late." He climbed on the bed and hugged her. She rested her head on his chest.

" You don't have to worry Naledi, I'm never going to leave you, not again." She looked at him.

" But my love, how do you know that? You just told me some old man from the Eternal Dawn Empire almost killed you, you told me that yourself.

So tell me how can I not be worried?" He sighed. " Well, he failed didn't he, if even somebody like him who had literally mastered martial dao couldn't kill me, what possibly can?"

She sighed, " I hope you're right because I can't lose you, not again." He was about to respond when their phones rang, at the same time.

" Well that can't be good."
