" I'm going to kill you when this over." He nodded, " Got it, so tell me what's happening?"
She looked behind her, out of the mist came a timid looking girl, probably in her twenties but he couldn't be sure.
She could be a vessel holder with a significantly longer lifespan. " Is she the dreamer?"
Naledi nodded, "She's the only human I've seen so far so she must be." Ved approached the girl and sniffed her.
" Strange." He frowned. " What wrong?" Naledi asked. He turned around, " Probably nothing, I just smelled a familiar scent from her."
She shrugged, " You could've met her in real life." " Perhaps." He replied. " So tell me about this dream girl."
The woman looked at him with fear and confusion. " I..I don't know, I don't know what's happening."
He sighed, " Well this nightmare is conjured from your own memories so try to remember."
She shook her head. " I can't, I'm so scared, I want to go home." He nodded, " What's your name?"
" Sarah." The girl replied in a timid voice. " Well Sarah, I promise we will get you home okay, but we are going to need your help to get out of here." Naledi said confidently.
She nodded. " I..I'll do my best." He looked at her. The woman was carrying a basket of bread and wearing a red hood.
" Wait a minute, you're Red riding hood, this nightmare is conjured from red riding, that would mean the big bad wolf is the bad guy."
He looked at Naledi. " We should probably find the grandma's house, if the nightmare follows the rhyme then we should encounter the wolf on the way."
Naledi nodded, " Let go." She led the way, neither of them nor the dreamer girl knew the way.
They travelled for so long time became meaningless to them yet they saw no signs of either the wolf of grandma's house.
However they would occasionally feel a pair of eyes on them but no matter how they searched they couldn't find their owner.
Then one day, it showed up. A massive black wolf with deep red eyes. Red riding hood screamed and ran.
The two followed behind her, fighting this wolf as they were would be very dangerous and they didn't know what would happen if they died in this dream.
Speaking of, he didn't know where the dream guard was when he needed it. The wolf chased after them.
Each of it steps taking it a dozen metres forward. They both knew they couldn't outrun it.
They looked at each and turned around, the wolf was right behind them. Naledi rolled on the ground and he twisted and spun to the side.
Just as it passed next to him, he roared and hit it on the side with a palm. However as he did so something he didn't expect happened.
His hand was suddenly covered by a black aura. When it hit the wolf the size of a buffalo it sent it crashing on the ground.
He looked at his palm, ' Martial Intent, but how?' then he heard a voice he did not expect to hear.
" Of course you still have it, martial intent is the mastery of your martial arts, although it does seem to be weaker..
Probably because this isn't your actual body, not only do you lack perfect control over it, your martial arts was created for a dragon body, not a human one."
When she put it that way, he understood why he still had it even though he lost all of his other powers.
" You shouldn't have lost all of your abilities, dream mist should also still work considering this is a dream."
He felt like slapping himself for not thinking that earlier. Before he could continue thinking about it.
The wolf stood up and lunged at Naledi. He panicked and ran towards her, unlike him she didn't master martial arts so no martial intent.
However blue flames ignited on her eyes, her speed increased and she dodged the wolf and slashed it foot with her stone knife.
He followed up with a strong kick to it ribs sending it flying through the air. However he felt pain in his muscles.
" Your body can't handle the strain of your martial arts, you should use it sparingly." He nodded, he looked at Naledi and she too looked drained.
" You're okay?" He asked, she nodded, " This body is too weak to handle my divine flame but I'm fine."
He nodded, " We need to get out of here then." They ran after Red riding hood and caught up to her before long.
The wolf was no longer chasing after them but he could feel it presence every now and then, they chose to ignore it since it wasn't attacking yet.
After a very very long time, they found the house. It was a dark decaying house made of wood.
They approached it slowly and cautiously, the windows were dark and the door was locked.
He closed his eyes and felt his dream mist, since this was a dream, controlling it was easier but he had a much lower quantity of it now.
Using the mist he formed three daggers almost using all of the mist he had in the process. In here he could change reality, that was the privilege of having dream manipulation abilities in the dream realm.
They were no different from reality manipulation in the real world. However it still depended on how much dream mist and mental strength he had.
He gave one dagger to Naledi and the other to Red riding hood to defend themselves. Naledi kicked the door open and went inside, he told Red riding hood to wait there and he followed Naledi into the house.
They could barely see anything in the dark rooms, then he heard something in the conor of a dark room.
They went there and he saw something rush to hide under the bed. " It's okay, you can come out, we're not going to hurt you."
A few seconds passed and eventually a young woman came out from under the bed. " You're not part of the story, who are you?"
The woman asked. Naledi looked at him with confusion. " What's happening? This can't be the grandma right?"
He sighed, " This my dear Naledi, is our dreamer."
