Chapter 264

"Sister, you see I didn't lie to you!" Solara raised her little fist with a hint of pride shining brightly on her youthful face.

"Yeah," Rain nodded warmly, her hand gently patting Solara's head in affirmation.

At that moment, Lana descended gracefully from the rooftop, landing softly before Rain, her expression composed yet filled with intrigue.

"This Ethan's physical strength has already reached such a formidable level. The blood-colored steam permeating his body is the manifestation of the power of his essence and blood. When pushed to the extreme, you can see red lightning accompanied by a faint golden glow," Lana explained with a tone of respect and fascination.

"This transformation of essence and blood power is a sign that one's strength is beginning to transform to a higher state!"

Rain's eyes flickered with interest as she replied, "After the power of essence and blood completes this transformation, it should evolve into an even stronger Original Power, right?"

"Exactly," Lana affirmed.

"Moreover, this transformation only commences after the body reaches the Nirvana realm. From there, it usually takes at least six Nirvana tribulations for the blood pills within the body to fully transform into Original Pills."

Rain's surprise was unmistakable. "But Brother Ethan has only reached the Dharma Body realm, and yet his essence and blood have already begun showing signs of transformation. Does that mean when he advances to the Nirvana realm, he'll turn those blood pills into Original Pills almost immediately?"

Lana shook her head slightly, a knowing smile distracting from the uncertainty. "I don't know for sure... Ethan's cultivation doesn't follow any common sense or rules."

Rain chuckled softly. "Hah, it's best not to overthink it. With Brother Ethan's talent? He'll reach the Nirvana realm in no time. Truly, he's someone I admire."

"Sister Lana, if you hesitate any longer, it might already be too late," Rain teased with a sly smile.

"Then how should I proceed? Should I follow your example and use a beauty trap?" Lana joked flirtatiously.

"Get away with that nonsense! Beauty traps won't work at all," Rain said, crossing her arms and grinding her teeth playfully.

"Oh? Did you really try it?" Lana teased, her smile mischievous and charming.

"Seems the proud and beautiful you have been humbled by a younger brother," Lana quipped with a teasing wink.

Rain huffed, "If you have the ability, try it yourself—you'll get into trouble!"

"Ethan's not like that at all," Rain murmured with a knowing hum.

Even if Lana tried, the results would likely be just as futile.

"Well if you say so, Rain, maybe I'll just try getting Ethan for myself. So get ready to cry when I take him away," Lana said with playful seriousness.

"Forget it, just do it the normal way," Rain said, waving her hand.

She knew Lana's strength and natural talent far surpassed her own.

Besides age, beauty was the only advantage; Lana was often cold and aloof, but behind their backs, she was entirely different.

If Lana truly used a seductive trap, the attraction might be irresistible.

It was better not to risk such a loss.

"No worries. No one in this world can be won over with a honey trap," Lana stated simply, her expression quickly returning to solemn contemplation as she watched Ethan within the golden barrier.

Their minds turned to strategies — some happy, some sorrowful.

Bram stood afar, a portrait of sorrow.

Frowning deeply, he clenched his fists fiercely as he stared at the battlefield below.

Ethan's strength had outpaced his darkest expectations.

Even Cain Ashenvale, young master of the Holy Land, was no match.

If Bram dared challenge Ethan now, the result would be even more humiliating than before.

"How in the world did Ethan achieve this? Isn't body cultivation supposed to be extremely difficult?" Bram mused anxiously.

"How did he grow to such power in just a few years?"

"Your Highness, fret not. A dead genius is no longer a danger," Mr. Willow said with cold eyes veiled in murderous intent.

Gilbert nodded in agreement, "Indeed, a dead genius is merely a corpse."

"This Ethan harbors a grudge against us. We cannot allow him to grow any stronger. After the treasure appraisal conference, we must eliminate him, no matter the cost!"

"Understood," Bram nodded firmly.

He acknowledged the reality — he was no longer Ethan's equal.

It was a matter best left to masters like Mr. Willow and others to handle.

Though displeased and unsettled, Bram had to face the truth.

Not far away, Seraphina's face twisted with bitterness.

"Ethan!" she whispered, staring with disbelief.

"This is impossible. How can Ethan defeat Mr. Cain with his talent and strength?!"

"No... Mr. Cain must not have truly lost yet!" Her eyes flickered nervously toward the composed figures nearby — the middle-aged woman and the robed elder watching calmly.

These two were the Elders of the Ashenvale family, tasked with protecting Cain Ashenvale.

If he had truly been defeated, they would not be so serene.

And just as Seraphina thought so, the dust and mists dissipated.

A vibrant four-colored aura bloomed from the depths of the pit.

Everyone's eyes widened in astonishment as they beheld a radiant sphere of four colors slowly rising.

The sphere exploded into a brilliant light — and there, standing before them, was Cain Ashenvale.

From his back sprouted a magnificent pair of wings.

These wings, condensed from his four-element spiritual energies, were a spectacular manifestation of his Four Spirit Holy Body.

The wings spread wide, protecting Cain and allowing him to barely repel Ethan's lethal fist.

Cain's clothes hung in tatters, his shirt shredded to bits.

His cheeks and body were smeared with blood, embarrassment flickering across his face.

Yet his aura remained unbroken — stronger, even, than before.

"This is the young master's trump card, his killer move," Noel Ashenvale observed, a calm smile crossing his face.

"Ever since he awakened the Four Spirit Holy Body, he's only fully unleashed its power thrice."

"None who have witnessed Cain's divine wings have survived," Noel added gravely.

"Truly formidable!" Seraphina's expression recovered, the earlier tension replaced by awe.

"The pressure from those divine wings is vaguely stronger than Master's," she noted, her beautiful face reflecting genuine surprise.

Ethan's gaze cooled as he fixed on Cain Ashenvale, now floating above like a god.
