Chapter 417

In the end, of the twenty-two Supremes of the Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets Alliance, only four remained alive.

Arza.

Enzo Vernal.

The owner of Shadow Moon Tower.

And the owner of Illusion Dream Sect.

The night sky was finally quiet.

Blood mist drifted slowly, and the shattered space of Noble Sun City gradually repaired itself, though the scars of destruction remained etched into every corner.

Enzo Vernal stared at Ethan, his eyes bloodshot, his chest heaving.

"Ethan," he roared hoarsely, voice trembling with rage and despair, "things have already come to this—why do you still insist on killing members of my Vernal clan?!"

Ethan looked at him calmly, then suddenly laughed.

"Haha," he said coldly.

"Today, I broke through to the Supreme Realm so I could win."

He took a step forward, his aura pressing down like a mountain.

"If I had failed to break through," Ethan continued, eyes sharp as blades, "and you defeated me instead—would you have let me go?"

Silence.

Enzo Vernal clenched his teeth until blood seeped from the corners of his mouth.

He had no answer.

Ethan raised his hand and struck casually.

Bang.

Enzo Vernal collapsed unconscious, his body crashing into the ruins below.

Ethan turned around, his voice carrying calmly yet clearly across the devastated city.

"From today onward—Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets is removed from the Skyreach Territory."

The words were not shouted.

Yet they echoed louder than thunder.

Although Noble Sun City lay in ruins, countless forces beyond the city had been watching the battle from afar.

When they heard this sentence, their hearts shook violently.

Single-handedly crushing Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets.

Slaughtering Supremes like cutting grass.

And now, openly declaring the removal of a hegemonic power.

Combined with the Endless Mountains Holy Land openly standing at his side—

Everyone understood one thing.

Skyreach Territory… had changed.

A new ruler had risen.

And his name was Ethan.

"Senior Asher," Ethan said, turning toward the Blood Marquis, "I'm only good at fighting. I'll leave the rest to you."

He gestured toward the remaining captives.

"I spared one person from each faction. If you need information, you can interrogate them—or search their souls."

With that, Ethan put away the Heaven and Earth Compass, the Prisoner Dragon Lock, and the Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell.

Then, with another wave of his hand, dozens of storage rigs flew toward him.

He sifted through them calmly.

"I'll take one-third," Ethan said.

"The rest—distribute them to the brothers of the Blood Tavern."

He kept only Malrik's and his sister's storage rings, handing the rest to Asher.

"Well," the Blood Marquis replied, smiling faintly, "leave everything else to me. Go stabilize your breath and handle more important matters."

He knew exactly where Ethan wanted to go.

Azure Origin Dao Sect.

That place held some people people Ethan cared about.

Ethan nodded and landed in front of the Blood Tavern.

"Daddy!"

A figure rushed over like a beam of sunlight.

Solara threw herself into his arms.

Ethan laughed and hugged her tightly, rubbing her head.

"You've grown taller," he said warmly.

"And more beautiful."

"Hehe!" Solara beamed, eyes sparkling.

Rain walked over with her arms crossed, deliberately straightening her posture.

"What about me?" she asked, puffing out her chest slightly.

Ethan gave her a thumbs up without hesitation.

"Sister Rain is still as beautiful as ever."

"You brat," Rain snorted.

"You only know how to talk. Where's the action?"

"I'm going back to Azure Origin Dao Sect first," Ethan said solemnly, cupping his hands.

"After I settle the sect's matters, I'll drink with Sister Rain until we're both drunk."

Rain's lips curled into a charming smile.

"Not coming home until you're drunk?" she said softly.

"Then I'll really look forward to it."

"Don't you plan to take me with you?" Lana asked, stepping forward, her voice gentle and warm.

Before Ethan could answer—

"Dad," Solara suddenly said seriously, "Aunt Rain and Aunt Lana take such good care of me. Let them be my mothers."

Silence.

Ethan froze.

The next second, he twisted Solara's ear lightly.

"You little rascal," he said helplessly.

"What nonsense are you saying?"

"Sisters… don't mind her," Ethan added awkwardly, scratching his head.

Rain and Lana folded their arms in unison, smiling sweetly.

But those smiles…

Were dangerous.

"Brother Ethan," Rain said slowly, touching her chin, "I think Solara's suggestion is very reasonable."

"Or are you scared?" she teased, eyes gleaming.

"Mm," Lana nodded seriously.

"Brother Ethan might really be scared."

Rarely did she show such a mischievous expression.

Ethan laughed bitterly.

"Sisters, you're playing with fire."

"When the time comes and I really burn myself," he said jokingly, "it'll be too late to regret."

"Well," Rain replied lightly, "I'm looking forward to it."

Behind them, Solara pouted, completely confused about this mysterious 'playing with fire'.

At that moment, Zeon and Magnus descended from the sky.

Nearby, the Blood Marquis finished dealing with the remaining captives—abolishing their cultivation and imprisoning them.

"These people are guarded," Asher said casually, tossing them aside.

"They're still useful."

"Brother," Rain asked, "what's next?"

"Noble Sun City is almost completely destroyed," the Blood Marquis replied.

"Next, Blood Tavern and Myriad Treasure Pavilion will jointly rebuild it."

He paused.

"But we're short on manpower. Managing such a vast city will be difficult."

His gaze shifted to Atlas Ashmount.

"The Endless Mountains Holy Land has the greatest reputation in Skyreach Territory. How about settling here and managing Noble Sun City together with us?"

Ethan nodded immediately.

"Senior Asher can decide."

He had no interest in governance.

Power was enough.

Administration belonged to others.

The Blood Marquis smiled and tossed two storage rings to Atlas.

"Hm?" Atlas caught them, startled.

He hadn't even fought.

Yet he was rewarded.

"These are from two Inferior Supremes," Asher said lightly.

"Take them."

Atlas inhaled deeply.

Though insignificant to Ethan, these resources would greatly benefit the Endless Mountains Holy Land.

"Thank you, Blood Marquis," Atlas said solemnly.

"I didn't contribute much—but leave the reconstruction of Noble Sun City to us."

"The Holy Land has many disciples. It won't take long."

"In that case," the Blood Marquis replied with a smile, "I'll trouble Holy Lord Atlas."

This is what he wants. There are only a few people in their blood tavern.
