Chapter 418

And they were all powerful Mahayana and Supreme realm cultivators.

Letting more than a dozen beings of that level carry bricks and rebuild houses would be absurd.

Overkill of the highest order.

"It's no trouble," Atlas replied with a smile, cupping his hands.

"If there's anything needed in the future, just say the word. I'll do my best."

As he spoke, a sense of relief rose quietly in his heart.

This time… he had truly made the right choice.

Following Ethan. Standing with the Blood Tavern.

There was meat to eat.

In the future, with the Myriad Treasure Pavilion, the Blood Tavern, and even the imperial lineage of the Verdant Lantern Empire standing behind him, the Endless Mountains Holy Land would inevitably rise to a new height.

Not long after, Isolde flew in from outside Noble Sun City and landed beside her master.

"Master."

Atlas nodded and gestured lightly.

"This is the Guardian of the Blood Tavern, the Blood Marquis. And this is the Talker of the Myriad Treasure Pavilion—Ghost Supreme."

"Junior Isolde greets the two seniors."

Isolde bowed respectfully.

The Ghost Supreme glanced at her, then nodded faintly.

"So you are the Saint of Endless Mountains Holy Land," he said casually.

"At your age, already at the Eighth Turn of Mahayana… not bad. No wonder you're ranked second on the Heaven's Prodigy List of Skyreach Territory."

It was praise—but faint, perfunctory.

After seeing Ethan, it was hard for anyone else to truly impress him.

As far as Callum knew, even Liora Verdant—the number one prodigy and eldest princess of the Verdant Lantern Empire—had yet to truly step into the Ultimate Supreme Realm.

She was only half a step away.

Yet Ethan already possessed complete divine power.

Who was stronger?

The answer was painfully obvious.

In Callum's heart, Ethan had already become the most terrifying anomaly he had encountered in his entire cultivation life.

While conversations continued outside, Ethan stepped into the lobby of the Blood Tavern.

He turned to Rain.

"Are the people from the Royal Beast Sect still alive?"

Rain laughed softly. "Brother Ethan, how could I lose track of someone you specifically asked me to watch?"

"They're all locked in the dungeon beneath the tavern."

"Bring them up," Ethan said.

"Alright."

Rain vanished in a flash.

At that moment, Uga approached.

"Mr. Ethan," she said solemnly, cupping her hands, "people from the Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets have already headed toward Azure Origin Dao Sect."

Ethan's brows furrowed slightly.

"Azure Origin Dao Sect…"

"When did they leave?"

"Not long ago," Uga replied.

"But I can't be sure whether they had already deployed people there in advance."

"I understand."

Ethan nodded slowly.

So Arza hadn't been bluffing.

She really had sent people to his sect.

That meant he could no longer delay.

Soon after, Rain returned—bringing three figures with her.

Alix. Shia. Houda.

The disciples of the Royal Beast Sect.

Their cultivation had been crippled back then, but their dantians and meridians were left intact. Over the past ten years in the dungeon, they had cultivated bitterly, barely recovering half their strength.

Enough to protect themselves.

Ethan looked at them calmly.

Disheveled hair. Hollow eyes.

Their former arrogance had long been ground into dust by ten years of darkness.

Exactly ten years.

For them, it was like crawling out of hell.

The moment they stepped into the light, all three trembled, eyes reddening.

"You three," Ethan asked flatly, "do you still recognize me?"

Alix stared at him for a moment, then dropped to his knees without hesitation.

"So it's Mr. Ethan," he said hurriedly.

"Of course I recognize you."

"I once promised not to kill you," Ethan said calmly, "and to let you return to your sect."

"But you should understand what you need to do."

"Understood!" Alix replied instantly.

"Mr. Ethan may return to the Royal Beast Sect with us. You may choose any spiritual beast you desire."

His smile was humble—almost servile.

Ten years had stripped them of everything except obedience.

"Good."

Ethan raised his hand.

The chains binding their limbs shattered instantly.

The three froze—then their expressions exploded into joy.

Freedom.

True freedom.

Yet they did not dare move recklessly.

Instead, they asked cautiously, "Mr. Ethan… what should we do now?"

"Follow me," Ethan replied.

He then turned to Zeon and Magnus, cupping his hands.

"Brother Zeon, Brother Magnus. I must return to my sect to deal with some matters. I'll take my leave first."

"Do you need help?" Zeon asked.

"No," Ethan said calmly.

"The Blood Tavern needs you more right now. I can handle the sect matters alone."

Zeon laughed. "Then Brother Magnus and I will wait for your return. We'll have Brother Asher treat you to a proper drink."

"Alright."

Ethan nodded.

"Solara. Let's go."

He stepped into the air.

"Brother Ethan," Lana called out, her purple eyes gleaming, "don't forget our agreement. No stopping until you're drunk."

Ethan smiled faintly.

"Don't worry. I, Ethan, always keep my word."

He bowed to the Blood Marquis, Latham, and Ghost Supreme.

All three nodded in understanding.

As Ethan passed Atlas, he patted him on the shoulder.

"Holy Lord Atlas, I'll leave the reconstruction of Noble Sun City to you."

"No trouble at all," Atlas replied quickly.

"As long as it's no trouble," Ethan said lightly, "and as long as Holy Lord Atlas maintains the right attitude, your benefits will be indispensable in the future."

"I understand," Atlas nodded solemnly.

"Goodbye, Mr. Ethan," Isolde said respectfully.

Ethan nodded back, then leaned closer to Atlas and whispered:

"You have a good disciple."

Atlas could only smile bitterly.

He knew Ethan was right.

If not for Isolde, he might have already stepped onto a path of destruction.

"Senior Asher," Ethan added as he departed, "Holy Lord Atlas has gifted the Blood Tavern the cultivation grounds beneath Heavenly Lake. Don't forget to check them."

The Blood Marquis burst into laughter.

"Haha! Holy Lord Atlas is truly generous. From today onward—Heavenly Lake belongs to my Blood Tavern."

"..."

Atlas's face twitched.

They had agreed only on the cultivation treasure land beneath Heavenly Lake.

Now the entire Heavenly Lake was gone.

This is simply stealing.
