Chapter 436

"This is… the souls of the demons who died in the Demon Sealing Cave."

Ethan glanced at the black mist calmly.

Within it, countless distorted figures wailed and twisted. Among them were several familiar silhouettes—one in particular stood out clearly. It was the demon that had used illusion and tried to trap him when he first entered the Demon Sealing Cave.

Azraeth V'khorath was ruthless to the extreme.

Not only had he devoured the flesh, blood, and life essence of his fellow demons to strengthen himself, he had also preserved their souls—now using them as fuel for a forbidden technique.

Cruel.

Absolute cruelty.

But no matter how far Azraeth pushed himself, it was meaningless.

Even if Ethan had not stepped into the Supreme realm, his strength back when he was only at the seventh turn of Nirvana would still have been enough to completely erase Azraeth from existence.

"Old demon, you're truly vicious," Ethan said lightly, a faint smile on his face.

"You wiped out every demon in this Demon Sealing Cave."

"Hahaha!" Azraeth V'khorath laughed harshly.

"It is their honor to become part of my power!"

"If I didn't absorb their life essence, should I have just waited to be ground to death by your formation and that broken immortal weapon?!"

His expression was grim and twisted.

Ethan could stand relaxed and calm.

Azraeth could not.

He was already standing at the edge of desperation.

"The bloodline secret technique—Ancestor Earth Demon!"

"The ultimate forbidden technique…"

"Soul Sacrifice!"

Azraeth V'khorath formed seals with trembling hands, his voice hoarse as he activated the absolute forbidden technique.

Soul Sacrifice.

A method that burned everything—bloodline, soul, future—for a single burst of power.

The backlash was terrifying.

The stronger the power gained, the more catastrophic the consequences.

This technique was only used by those who had no other path left.

And Azraeth had reached that point.

Sharp, shrill screams echoed through the underground cavern.

The souls circling in the black mist wailed in agony as the technique fully activated.

A massive blood-red formation appeared beneath Azraeth's feet, dense lines flowing like living veins.

One by one, hundreds of demon souls were dragged screaming into the formation.

They were refined.

Compressed.

Converted into pure power.

That power surged violently into Azraeth V'khorath's body.

His aura exploded.

In an instant, it rose beyond the limits of Mahayana—

Vaguely stepping into the Supreme realm.

Azraeth spread his arms wide.

The demonic patterns on his body turned blood-red, glowing intensely.

This surge of power intoxicated him.

He breathed deeply, savoring it, a feral and perverse smile creeping across his face.

"Ethan," he said hoarsely, "do you think I would wait quietly for death?"

"The trump cards I've prepared are far beyond what you imagine!"

"Even if you are still stronger than me, do you really think you can kill me?"

"My earth demon bloodline is immortal. The stronger the bloodline, the more absolute this trait becomes!"

"Now that I possess Supreme-realm strength, killing me is impossible!"

"When my demon race revives and returns to dominance, your Azure Origin Dao Sect will be wiped out completely!"

Azraeth laughed wildly.

His current power gave him a twisted sense of invincibility.

Ethan sneered.

His mind moved.

The white light in his palm shot forward.

Lightning wrapped around the beam, crackling violently. The power was so terrifying that space itself collapsed around it, releasing ear-piercing sonic booms.

Even cultivators on the first level of the Demon Sealing Cave felt their seas of consciousness tremble violently, nausea and dizziness washing over them.

Huh—!

The beam pierced through the iron barrier of the prison and slammed directly into Azraeth V'khorath's forehead.

"I told you!" Azraeth roared.

"You can't kill me!"

"Bloodline Secret Art—Eye of the Ancestral Earth Demon!"

A crack opened between his eyebrows.

A bloody glow burst forth.

The Eye of the Ancestral Earth Demon slowly opened—a massive, blood-colored vertical pupil. It contracted, expanded, then spread like a blooming chrysanthemum, radiating vast demonic authority.

The eye rotated twice.

Then locked onto Ethan's attack.

Boom—!

A bloody beam shot out, colliding head-on with the white lightning beam.

"Pathetic."

Ethan chuckled softly.

The white beam tore through the bloody light as if it were paper.

The power of the ancestral eye dissolved instantly, scattering into flickering fragments before vanishing completely.

Azraeth's pupils shrank to pinpoints.

Disbelief flooded his face as the white beam filled his vision.

In the next instant, it pierced straight through his forehead.

Ah—!!

A shrill scream echoed.

The divine power obliterated the Eye of the Ancestral Earth Demon completely.

The eye collapsed.

The beam continued forward, penetrating Azraeth's head.

Yet—

Azraeth did not die.

He laughed madly.

"I told you! You can't kill me!"

"Yeah?" Ethan replied coldly.

His fingers clenched.

"Explode."

Space locked.

The white beam detonated.

A blinding flash erupted.

Azraeth V'khorath felt pain beyond comprehension.

Terrifying power struck from every direction, detonating repeatedly within that sealed space.

His body was ripped apart.

Shattered into thousands of fragments.

But it did not end there.

The divine power continued to surge.

Each fragment of flesh was annihilated under repeated explosions.

Within a few breaths—

Azraeth V'khorath's physical body vanished completely.

Nothing remained.

Only a wisp of his soul lingered, trembling in the void.

He screamed in madness.

"Impossible! This is impossible!"

"Why can you completely destroy my body?!"

"Fake! This must be fake!"

Azraeth had gone insane.

For thousands of years, he had called himself immortal.

He had lived too long.

And because of that, he clung to existence with obsessive desperation.

When true death arrived, fear crushed his sanity.

"It's over," Ethan said indifferently.

Azraeth's remnant soul twisted and writhed, his expression hideous and pitiful.

"Disperse."

Ethan waved his hand.

Divine power surged outward, erasing the final trace of Azraeth V'khorath's soul completely.

Silence descended.

The Demon Sealing Cave fell utterly quiet.

Every demon imprisoned here was gone.

Erased.

Ethan vanished.

When he reappeared, he stood high above the Demon Sealing Cave, suspended in the night sky.

At that moment, heaven and earth trembled.

Strange phenomena gathered.

Ash Burn's and Ashira's Supreme Tribulations were descending.

"I have eliminated all the demons in the Demon Sealing Cave."

Ethan's voice echoed calmly across the land, carrying irresistible authority.

"Now, everyone—leave the Demon Sealing Cave immediately!"

The elders and disciples gathered at the southern shore of Serene Mirror Lake.

They looked at Ethan, relief and awe filling their eyes.

"We truly didn't misjudge back then," Elder Azel sighed deeply.
