Chapter 450

"He'll be placed on the sect's death row first."

Shia's voice was cold, without the slightest hesitation.

"Understood."

Nox cupped his hands deeply, his gaze lingering on Alister for a brief moment before turning away. From this instant onward, that man was no longer an elder—only a sinner waiting for judgment.

Seeing that the situation had completely collapsed, Kale no longer wasted a single thought.

This mysterious young man was terrifyingly strong, and beside him stood an Intermediate-level demon lord whose aura alone was enough to suppress half the battlefield. If the three of them truly fought to the death here, the outcome would be unpredictable at best—and disastrous at worst.

More importantly, this was Skyreach Territory.

Their home ground.

The Infinite Beast Sect was thousands of miles away. No matter how arrogant Aemon was, Kale would never gamble their lives on pride alone.

"Let's go."

Kale gave the order decisively.

Aemon's expression twisted with unwilling fury, but when Kale spoke, he did not dare disobey.

John, pale-faced, said nothing.

The three figures rose into the air almost simultaneously, transforming into streaks of light as they fled in the direction they had come from.

"Want to leave?"

Ethan's eyes flickered.

His figure vanished.

In less than a breath, space folded and twisted—and when Kale and the others reacted, a figure was already standing several miles ahead of them, calmly blocking their path.

"So fast—!"

Kale's pupils shrank violently as he stopped, his robes snapping in the air. Aemon and John nearly crashed into him before barely stopping themselves.

The speed was inhuman.

No, it was worse than inhuman—it was overwhelming.

"You three," Ethan said softly, his smile faint and unreadable, "did I say you could leave?"

His gaze slid slowly onto Aemon.

Cold.

Sharp.

Like a venomous serpent locking onto its prey.

Aemon's scalp tingled violently. Goosebumps erupted across his skin, and an instinctive chill crept up from the soles of his feet.

"What… what do you want to do?!"

John stepped forward, instinctively shielding Aemon behind him.

"What do you think?" Ethan replied calmly.

"You came when you wanted. You killed when you wanted. And now you want to leave when it's inconvenient?"

Kale's face darkened. "Haha. Young man, don't be mistaken. In this Skyreach Territory, perhaps you are strong—but to our Infinite Beast Sect, coming and going is our right."

"Who do you think you are, daring to block our path?"

Aemon clenched his jaw and snarled, his humiliation finally exploding.

"Let us go now. I'll forget what you did to my arm. Otherwise, when we return to the sect, we will mobilize supreme experts and raze your Royal Beast Sect to the ground!"

"You—and everyone here—will die."

"Oh?"

Ethan laughed softly.

"Since you said that…" His eyes curved slightly.

"Then I really can't let you return."

The smile never reached his eyes.

Kale's expression finally turned grim.

"Your Excellency is strong, yes. But do you really believe you can stop the three of us?"

"You'll find out," Ethan said indifferently.

"Young people should learn restraint," John sneered coldly, secretly transmitting his voice.

"Mr. Kale, I'll hold him off. Take the Young Master and leave first. I have a secret escape technique."

Kale hesitated for only a fraction of a second. "Be careful."

"Young Master—go!"

Aemon gritted his teeth, his hatred burning like poison in his veins. If his arm were intact, he would have already rushed forward. But reason still barely restrained him.

"Let's go!"

Kale seized Aemon and surged forward, spiritual energy erupting as the two shot toward the horizon.

"I said—"

Ethan took one step forward.

"You can't leave."

Before he could pursue, a violent aura crashed down from the side.

"Your opponent is me!"

John roared as a blazing crimson spear appeared in his grasp. Flames coiled around the weapon like living serpents, the heat distorting the air itself.

This was no ordinary spear—it was a top-grade spiritual weapon.

John thrust forward.

The spear multiplied instantly, spear-shadows tearing through space, igniting the sky with streaks of crimson light. The air screamed as the attack surged toward Ethan like a tidal wave of flame.

Ethan raised his hand.

No technique.

No flourish.

He waved casually.

Boom—!

Terrifying force erupted outward. Space shuddered and collapsed as the dozens of spear-shadows shattered instantly, exploding into fragments of fire and light.

John's pupils constricted violently.

"How—?!"

He had known Ethan was strong—but not this strong.

His full-power strike had been erased with a single gesture.

"What realm…?"

John's breath hitched.

"Upper Supreme?" he muttered, cold sweat pouring down his back.

Fear replaced arrogance in an instant.

He no longer dared to hold back.

John's aura surged explosively, blood essence burning as his cultivation forcefully climbed, instantly reaching the peak of the Intermediate Supreme realm.

A violent storm of energy erupted, flattening the forest below as spear intent condensed into a world.

A intent world of spear.

Endless crimson lances materialized, forming a killing field that wrapped around Ethan from all directions.

"Break!"

Ethan stretched out his palm and clenched it.

The spear world collapsed like glass struck by a hammer.

Boom—!

The entire domain exploded.

John's face twisted as he was hurled backward, blood spraying from his mouth.

"Divine power…!" he screamed hoarsely.

"This is divine power!"

"This man has combat strength rivaling the Ultimate Supreme—run!"

Panic seized him.

John bit down hard, blood essence igniting as he forcibly activated his final escape technique.

"Phantom Clone—Golden Cicada Escapes Its Shell!"

In an instant, his body split into three identical figures.

Identical aura.

Identical presence.

Indistinguishable.

The three figures spun chaotically, then shot off in three separate directions.

"I admit you're strong," John's laughter echoed, distorted and overlapping.

"But how will you respond to this?"

"Clone?"

Ethan smiled faintly.

A blue radiance flashed through his eyes.

Reality peeled back.

Truth revealed itself instantly.

"You have a little trick," Ethan said calmly, "but you still dare to use it before me."

Before Ethan finished speaking, his whole body turned into a stream of white light.
