Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 231: Morning Panic Begins Immediately

Valtor closed his door and threw himself onto the bed.

The mattress sank under his weight, soft and comfortable. He spread his arms and stared at the ceiling.

"This place is insane…"

He kicked his feet a little, testing the softness again.

"How can a sect have beds like this? Even my own clan doesn't have anything close."

He rolled onto his side, eyes narrowing with interest.

"It seems the God Gym isn't as simple as I thought. To rise to the top with only body cultivation… that alone is already crazy. But with facilities like this?"

He let out a short laugh. "My clan can't compare. Not even close."

He sat up and stared at the glowing panel on the wall.

"If their rooms are already this advanced… then their cultivation methods must be something else entirely."

Valtor clenched his fist, excitement burning in his chest.

"I can't wait. I want to see how strong I can get here."

---

Across the hall, Seira stood inside her room with her hands behind her back. She turned slowly, taking in every detail.

The smooth walls, the bed that adjusted when she touched it and the window that dimmed when she waved her hand.

Her cold expression cracked for one second.

"…Amazing."

She walked toward the bed and pressed her palm into it gently. The fabric shaped itself around her hand.

"No mana or even formation. Yet it moves perfectly."

She sat down carefully at first, then fully, and let out a small breath.

"So this is the God Gym… A sect that appeared out of nowhere and rose to the top? No wonder the elders were suspicious."

She looked toward the door.

Her original mission was to watch over Valtor to make sure the hot-headed berserker didn't get something that could strengthen his clan.

But now?

Seira crossed her legs, leaned back slightly, and closed her eyes.

"It seems this sect is more important than him. That idiot can wait… This place is the priority now."

Her fingers traced the edge of her blanket, feeling the strange smoothness.

"I want to understand this power. I want to see what this sect's unique path truly is."

Her eyes opened, sharp and focused.

"And I will not fall behind the others."

---

The next morning, the entire training hall buzzed with nervous whispers.

Four hundred fifty new disciples stood in straight but shaky lines.

Garion walked to the front with his usual confident grin.

"Once again... welcome to the God Gym."

Everyone straightened instantly.

"Today, your real training begins. But before that…"

He crossed his arms.

"You all heard that the God Gym focuses on body cultivation, right?"

Hundreds of heads nodded at once.

Garion smirked. "Good. But here's the truth... You're NOT going to train your body yet."

Confused murmurs exploded.

"What? Why?"

Garion raised his hand, silencing them.

"To cultivate the body, you need knowledge of the body. You can't strengthen something you don't understand. So…"

He pointed toward the senior disciples on standby.

"Your senior brothers and sisters will teach you."

Rynar cracked his knuckles loudly. "Alright, new kids. Follow me."

Rynor stretched his arms with a smirk. "Don't faint too fast, okay?"

Clara grinned. "I'll make it fun! Maybe."

Eliza stood still behind them, quiet as a shadow.

Two recruits flinched when she passed silently beside them.

Garion continued, "Teach the new disciples about our cultivation path and the human body."

He added casually, "You can use the cadavers."

The disciples froze.

Someone whispered, "Did he… did he say… cadavers?"

Another asked, "What's a cadaver?"

A third muttered, "Sounds tasty... wait no, that sounds bad."

Garion turned away as if it was completely normal. "Dahlia. Arden. Same for your three juniors. Teach them everything."

Dahlia saluted dramatically. "Yes, Master! Juniors, come with me! I'll show you so many things!"

Arden adjusted his glasses nervously. "Um… I-I will try not to scare you too much."

Valtor stepped forward. "Cadavers? What's that?"

Dahlia winked. "You'll see."

Seira frowned. "This better not waste my time."

Mersha nodded softly. "I'm ready… I think."

The senior disciples led the huge group down a long hallway.

Rynar pushed open a pair of heavy doors. "Alright, newbies. Welcome to your first lesson."

Inside the training hall, dozens of long tables waited in neat rows. Every table was covered with a large white cloth.

The new disciples glanced at each other.

"Why… are the tables shaped like that?"

"Why are they all covered?"

Clara turned around with a bright grin. "Oh, you'll see."

Rynor grabbed the edge of the nearest cloth. "Ready?"

Several disciples gulped.

Eliza stood behind him, silent, making the moment ten times scarier.

Rynor pulled.

Shrrp!

A pale, lifeless body lay under the cloth.

The hall exploded with screams.

"A-A-AHH!"

"Is that a corpse?!"

"No way! No way! NO WAY!"

"Put it back! PUT IT BACK!"

One boy fell on his butt.

A girl staggered backward and hit another table.

Another disciple froze like a statue, mouth wide open.

Rynar laughed. "Relax. It's dead."

Clara pulled another cloth off. "See? Cadaver! Very normal."

Another corpse appeared.

More screaming.

One disciple covered his face. "Why are there TWO?!"

Clara winked. "There are thirty."

The recruits nearly fainted.

Rynor pointed at the bodies. "These are what we call cadavers. Basically, corpses we cut open and study."

A boy raised a shaking hand. "W-why do we need to cut them open…?"

Rynar leaned in with a smirk. "Because you can't train your muscles if you don't know where they are."

A girl squeaked. "B-but… this feels like something a demonic sect would do…"

Clara waved her hands quickly. "No, no. Don't worry! It's not evil. These corpses are from bad people, criminals, and scum."

Rynor crossed his arms proudly. "Master Garion said it's good recycling."

The new disciples' jaws dropped.

"Re… recycling?!"

"You can't recycle people!"

"Is that how the God Gym works?!"

Eliza stepped forward silently, placed a scalpel on a tray, and looked at everyone with calm, empty eyes.

Half the recruits hid behind each other immediately.

Rynar shrugged. "Anyway, you'll be learning the human body today."

Clara clapped cheerfully. "So don't faint too fast! We need you awake."

Rynor pointed toward the closest group. "You five, come here. You're helping me open this one."

All five shook their heads violently.

"Nope!"

"No, thank you!"

"I didn't sign up for this!"

Rynar smirked. "Too late. You joined the God Gym. This is your life now."
