The flight lasted only a day.
Demon Gate Island wasn't far from the God Archipelago, but for the new disciples, every minute felt heavier the closer they got.
When the ship finally descended, a huge shadow rose beneath them.
The God Gym's territory on Demon Gate Island.
The recruits crowded the railing. Mouths dropped. Eyes widened.
"What… what are those buildings?"
"They look like giant metal cubes…"
"No! Look at that tower! Why is it glowing?!"
"Is this… even a sect?"
One boy slapped his own cheek. "I'm not dreaming, right? This is real?"
Dahlia laughed from behind them. "Yes, yes, it's real. Welcome to the god's playground."
Garion stepped forward with a proud smirk as the ship touched down.
"Welcome to the God Gym."
The moment his feet hit the ground, disciples who had stayed behind rushed out from the entrance.
"MASTER GARION!"
"Boss is back!"
"Finally!"
Several of them looked at the new faces. Their smirks grew wide and a bit evil.
"Oh, fresh meat."
"New juniors, huh? Good luck."
"Hope you can still walk after the first day."
The new recruits shrank back instantly.
Garion clapped loudly. "Alright, calm down. You can bully them later."
The old disciples coughed and pretended to behave.
Garion pointed at the newcomers.
"Take all 450 recruits to the outer disciple dorms. Show them their rooms and explain everything."
One senior disciple saluted. "Yes, Boss!"
Another shouted, "Follow me, juniors!"
The recruits moved in nervous lines toward the massive building shaped like a clean silver rectangle.
Some stared around like lost chickens.
Clara walked beside them, waving. "Don't worry! The rooms are comfy. Better than your houses. Not better than mine, though."
A boy whispered, "Is she serious?"
Another replied, "I have no idea…"
Garion turned toward Dahlia and Arden. "You two. Bring your new junior disciples to the direct disciple dormitory."
Dahlia puffed her chest dramatically. "Of course, Master!"
She leaned toward Valtor, Seira, and Mersha. "Alright, you three. Follow your amazing, beautiful senior sister."
Valtor snorted. "Beautiful, sure. Amazing? Debatable."
Dahlia flicked his forehead. "Watch your tone, junior brother."
Seira kept her arms crossed. "Just show me the room."
Mersha raised her hand. "Does the dorm have a cupboard? I want to store my cookies."
Arden just smiled and kept walking ahead, holding a small clipboard.
He kept glancing back nervously. "Um… the direct disciple dormitory has a shower, a toilet, and, uh… adjustable temperature panels."
He raised a finger, warning them. "Please don't press random buttons. Last time, Rynor broke the hot-water system."
Rynor shrugged from behind them. "It exploded. Not my fault."
Arden sighed softly. "Yes, it was."
They reached a sleek black-and-blue building with glass doors that opened automatically as they approached.
The three new direct disciples froze.
Valtor pointed at the door. "It… it moved by itself."
Seira narrowed her eyes. "There's no formation circle. How did it open?"
Mersha hid half her face behind her big backpack. "It sensed us…"
Dahlia grinned and walked inside first. "Come on, don't be scared. This is the direct disciple dorm."
They followed her in slowly, their steps cautious.
The inside was bright and clean, with smooth walls and shining floors.
Each room door had glowing blue lines on the edges.
Dahlia tapped one door lightly.
"This is your bedroom. Each of you gets one. There's a bed, a cupboard, and a small desk for your stuff."
Valtor walked into his room and stared at the bed. He pressed a hand on it.
"It's… too soft. Is this safe?"
Seira stood in her doorway, looking around in disbelief.
"This doesn't feel like a sect dormitory. This feels like a noble guest house."
Mersha poked the cupboard door. It slid open smoothly. "It moves… by itself…"
Dahlia clapped once. "Now, bathroom tour! Follow me."
She led them into a shared bathroom with clean tiles, a wide mirror, and strange metal devices.
Valtor pointed at the shower. "What is that?"
Dahlia stepped inside the stall. "This is the shower. You twist this handle, and water comes out."
She turned it.
A stream of warm water burst from the showerhead.
The three juniors jumped back.
"WHAT!"
Dahlia turned it off casually. "See? Easy."
Next, she pointed at the toilet. "This is for, you know… toilet business."
Valtor blinked. "But where does it go?"
Dahlia shrugged. "No idea. Master made it."
Arden raised his hand weakly.
"It, um… goes down pipes. The water takes it away. Please don't ask where the pipes lead. I don't want to think about it."
Seira knelt slightly and inspected the sink. "And this? It looks like a tiny basin."
Dahlia twisted the faucet.
Water flowed smoothly.
Seira whispered, almost stunned, "It pours without touching mana…"
Mersha touched the water with her fingertips. "It's warm… but it's not heated by fire."
Arden adjusted his glasses nervously, trying to look helpful.
"Um, Master invented all of this. He said something about 'modern living standards'."
Dahlia smirked proudly.
"Exactly. This entire dorm? All inventions of our Master. You won't find anything like it anywhere in the continent."
Valtor let out a slow breath. "Your Master is… insane."
Seira corrected him coldly. "He's not insane. He's a genius."
Mersha nodded. "Very genius…"
Dahlia stretched her arms behind her head.
"Well, now that you've seen the basics, get comfy. This place is your home from now on."
Valtor stepped back into his room with a grin.
"A home with moving doors and magical water. I like it."
Seira let out a small sigh. "I suppose… it is acceptable."
Mersha hugged her backpack to her chest. "It's warm… I like it too."
Arden smiled gently. "Good… I'm glad."
Dahlia clapped again. "Alright! Next part... how to live here without blowing anything up!"
Valtor raised a brow. "Why would anything blow up?"
Arden whispered, "You'd be surprised…"
The tour continued, the three juniors still dazed as Dahlia confidently walked ahead, proudly showing the strange world Garion built for them.
Their new life in the God Gym had officially begun.
