Two weeks passed in a blur of screaming, fainting, and nonstop lessons.
The God Gym had become a battlefield of textbooks, cadavers, and trainees crying internally.
Inside the main hall, Dahlia gathered the four other disciples she trusted most for an update: the twins, Clara and Eliza.
Clara stretched her back with a loud groan. "Senior Sister, the 450 recruits are… uh… doing okay-ish."
Eliza nodded, her voice quiet but clear. "They learned the basics. Organs, major bones, and muscle groups. But…"
She glanced at Clara, and Clara finished the sentence dramatically, waving her arms in frustration.
"But they're still nowhere near ready to change their cultivation paths! Not even close!"
Dahlia crossed her arms. "Really? After two whole weeks?"
Clara slumped forward. "Senior Sister, they pass out every day. Every day! We read the word 'intestine' and three of them fainted."
Eliza sighed softly. "Four fainted. One pretended not to faint."
Clara snapped her fingers. "Right. Four and a half."
Dahlia tilted her head. "Then just drill them a little harder."
Both twins froze and stared at her like she said something horrifying.
Clara pointed accusingly. "Harder?! If we drill them any harder, they'll die!"
Eliza nodded silently. "They collapse before we even finish half the lesson. Their minds… cannot keep up."
Clara continued. "And worst of all? We seniors haven't trained physically for TWO weeks. TWO! Do you know what that does to my muscles!?"
Dahlia blinked. "Lose muscles?"
Clara grabbed her own arm dramatically. "YES! Look! My bicep is smaller! THIS IS A TRAGEDY!"
Eliza poked Clara's arm gently. "It is smaller."
Clara fell to her knees. "Noooo…"
Dahlia tried not to laugh but failed. "Alright, alright, I get it. Teaching 450 people all day must be tough."
Clara looked up, hair messy. "Tough? It's torture! I didn't join the God Gym to be a teacher! I joined to be COOL."
Eliza nodded. "Teaching is draining."
Dahlia exhaled slowly. "I see…"
Then Clara leaned closer, eyes curious. "What about you, Senior Sister? How are your three new juniors doing?"
Dahlia brightened immediately. "Oh, them? They're great!"
Eliza blinked. "Great?"
Clara raised an eyebrow. "Great how? Did they faint less?"
"They didn't faint at all," Dahlia said proudly.
"They learn fast, and they actually pay attention. They should be able to change their cultivation path in a day or two."
The twins stiffened.
Clara whispered, "…What?"
Eliza stared. "Already…?"
Dahlia smiled. "Yep. They're handling the lessons better than expected."
The twins exchanged shocked looks.
Clara groaned loudly. "Senior Sister, that's so unfair! We got stuck with 450 walking disasters while you get three geniuses!"
Eliza nodded softly. "Very unfair."
Clara grabbed Dahlia's sleeve.
"Trade with me! Please! Take my group! I'll take your juniors... no, actually, never mind. I'm scared of Valtor."
Dahlia laughed. "See? No wonder I was chosen for them."
Clara flopped facedown onto the table. "I hate this job…"
Eliza put a hand on Clara's back. "We will survive."
"Will we?" Clara mumbled into the wood.
Dahlia stretched, looking toward the training grounds with a grin.
"Well, keep working on your group. Once they finish the basic knowledge, we'll move to the real training."
Clara lifted her head weakly. "Real training…?"
Eliza whispered, "They will die."
Dahlia giggled. "Maybe. But they'll get stronger."
The twins stared at her like she was a demon.
But Dahlia only smiled brightly.
"Welcome to the God Gym, after all."
---
Garion stood in the doorway of the main learning hall, arms crossed, watching the chaos with a satisfied smirk.
Clara crying about shrinking muscles.
Rynar shouting at recruits who fainted too early.
Everything was exactly as he wanted.
He nodded once. "Good. They're working hard."
Then he turned and walked into a quieter hall, one he had reserved for very specific training.
Inside, Rachel Revalis stood beside a set of training machines, her posture graceful as always.
She wore the God Gym uniform, sleeves rolled up, hair tied neatly behind her.
Even after two weeks of brutal anatomy lessons and physical training, she still carried the same gentle, warm aura.
When Garion stepped inside, she turned with a soft smile. "Sir Garion, you're here."
Garion smiled back. "You don't need to call me Sir, Rachel. Just Garion is fine."
Rachel blinked and looked down shyly. "A-ah… then… Garion."
A small blush colored her cheeks.
Garion walked toward her, adjusting the straps on the machine beside her.
His movements were careful, completely different from the way he handled most disciples.
"How's your body? Any pain from yesterday's training?"
Rachel shook her head gently. "Just a little soreness… But it feels good. It means I'm improving, right?"
Garion nodded and gave her a warm smile. "Exactly. And I'll make sure you improve even more today."
Rachel covered her mouth lightly, embarrassed.
"You don't have to be this gentle with me. I'm already an elder… I should be stronger."
Garion stepped closer and lifted her hand to check her pulse.
"You are strong," he said quietly.
"But I want you at your best. The God Gym needs elders who understand the body better than anyone."
Rachel's cheeks turned even redder. She looked away shyly, her voice soft. "You… speak too kindly."
Garion chuckled. "Just telling the truth."
He guided her to a new machine, one that looked like a mix between a bench press and a strange rotating bar.
"Today, I'll show you more workout forms," he said. "This one trains upper body stability. Sit here."
Rachel obeyed, sitting down carefully. Her hands hovered uncertainly over the handles.
Garion leaned in behind her, adjusting her back posture with gentle hands. "Straighten a little more. Like this."
His voice softened. "Good. Perfect."
Rachel's breath hitched for a moment. "I-I hope I'm not being too slow…"
Garion shook his head. "Not at all. You're learning fast."
She smiled shyly again.
He moved around and demonstrated the motion.
"You push here slowly. Feel your chest and shoulders engage."
Rachel copied the movement, lifting the bar shakily.
Garion watched closely.
"Good, good… slower… Don't rush. Feel your muscles working."
Rachel focused, her expression calm but determined. "Like this?"
Garion nodded. "Exactly. You're doing great."
She exhaled softly, a warm smile spreading.
"You explain things very clearly. No wonder the disciples trust you so much."
Garion smirked. "I explain even better when the student listens as well as you do."
Rachel immediately blushed again, her eyes darting away.
He adjusted another machine nearby.
"Next, we'll work on your lower body. And after that, I'll explain more internal body functions. You've mastered the basics, but I want you to fully understand your own physique."
Rachel looked at him with gratitude."You're putting so much effort into my training. I… don't know how to thank you."
Garion waved it off with a confident grin."You're part of the God Gym now. That's reason enough. And besides..."
He leaned slightly closer, voice lowering just a bit.
"I want you to become the best elder here."
Rachel's heart skipped. She flinched lightly and looked down, hands fidgeting like a shy girl.
"I… I will try my best…"
Garion smiled warmly as he guided her to the next machine.
"Good. Let's keep training, Rachel."
She followed him with red cheeks and a soft smile…
