Valtor, Seira, and Mersha opened their eyes one by one, sweat on their brows but smiles on their faces.
Valtor let out a breathy laugh. "I… did it. I actually made a Perfect Mana Pool Cell."
Seira nodded lightly, calmer but proud. "Same. It took longer than I expected… but it's done."
Mersha hugged her knees with a shy grin. "Mine is warm… and stable… I think it's perfect now."
Dahlia clapped excitedly. "Nice! Good job, juniors!"
Arden smiled gently. "Yes. Really good work. This part usually takes days for outer disciples."
Valtor smirked, wiping sweat from his forehead. "Of course it took us faster. We're direct disciples."
Seira scoffed quietly. "Don't get cocky. You struggled first."
Mersha nodded innocently. "Valtor screamed once."
"I DID NOT!" Valtor shouted.
Dahlia laughed. "You totally did."
Arden raised his hands.
"Alright, alright. Enough teasing. Now that your first Perfect Mana Pool Cell is complete, we move to the next step."
The three juniors leaned in, curious but tired.
Arden pointed to his chest. "You know how cells can split, right? Divide into two?"
Seira nodded. "Basic biology."
Valtor scratched his head. "I… kind of remember it from the anatomy lesson."
Mersha raised her hand. "Cells copy themselves… like little clones."
"Exactly," Arden said.
Dahlia stepped forward with a grin.
"So now, you're going to make your Perfect Mana Pool Cell do the same thing. But instead of using nutrients… you feed it mana."
Valtor blinked. "So… we force the cell to split?"
Arden nodded. "Yes. You visualize giving more mana to that perfected cell. When it gets too full, it will naturally divide."
Seira frowned slightly. "And the new one …replaces another normal cell?"
"Correct," Arden said. "And that new one will be a perfect mana pool cell as well."
Mersha's eyes widened. "S-so then… two becomes four… four becomes eight…?"
Dahlia pointed at her. "Exactly! You just keep repeating the process."
Valtor crossed his arms. "Until the whole body is full of mana pool cells."
Arden smiled. "Yes. And when that happens… you officially enter the true peak of the Mana Cells Refinement Realm."
Seira touched her chest lightly. "This path really is different from normal cultivation…"
Mersha nodded softly. "It feels like… growing a new body."
Dahlia winked. "Because you are. You're building the foundation of your future physique."
Valtor pumped his fist. "Then let's hurry up and start splitting these cells!"
Arden put a hand on his shoulder. "Slow down. Do it carefully. If you try to rush it, you'll pass out."
Valtor clicked his tongue. "Tch. Fine."
Seira folded her legs again. "I'll proceed. Tell us if we make mistakes."
Mersha smiled shyly. "I'll try my best…"
Dahlia and Arden stepped back, watching proudly as the three juniors closed their eyes again.
A few minutes passed, and...
Valtor's eyes flew open. "It split! It actually split!"
Seira opened hers next, calm but shocked. "Mine too… it divided cleanly."
Mersha raised her hand weakly. "I-I felt it… like a soft pop…"
Dahlia clapped her hands. "Good! Very good!"
Arden stepped closer, excitement in his eyes.
"Alright, now stop your visualization. Tell me, did the splitting stop when you stopped focusing?"
All three paused, checking their bodies.
Then Valtor jerked his head up. "No. IT'S STILL GOING."
Seira blinked. "Mine too. The cell is dividing on its own…"
Mersha's eyes widened. "It's like… like it learned how to copy itself…"
Arden smiled proudly. "Exactly. That's how it should be."
He crossed his arms, looking like a teacher who just watched his students solve the hardest question.
"We studied this during your anatomy lessons. Cell splitting is a natural phenomenon. Once you teach the Perfect Mana Pool Cell how to divide, it will continue naturally as long as mana is present."
Dahlia leaned forward with a grin. "In other words, your bodies got smarter."
Valtor grinned. "So after this… we don't need to manually cultivate every second?"
Arden nodded. "Correct. After today, your body will cultivate itself. Mana enters your cells, the cells divide, and your physique grows."
Seira let out a small breath. "That's… impressive."
Mersha hugged her knees. "This path really is different…"
Arden only nodded and smirked, just like Garion.
"This is only the beginning, and also... it's time to train the body."
Valtor cracked his knuckles with a big grin. "Finally!"
Seira straightened her posture, eyes sharp.
Mersha swallowed nervously but smiled. "I'll do my best."
But then Arden lifted his hand.
"However... let's do it tomorrow."
All three froze.
"WHAT?!" Valtor shouted.
Dahlia laughed. "It's already late, juniors."
Seira sighed softly. "…I suppose resting is logical."
Mersha yawned quietly. "I… didn't realize I was tired."
Arden closed his notebook. "Your bodies are still adjusting to the cell splitting. Rest tonight. Tomorrow, we start real God Gym training."
Valtor pumped a fist. "Fine. But tomorrow, I'm ready."
Seira nodded. "Same."
Mersha bowed her head. "I'll prepare."
Dahlia stretched her arms. "Alright! Let's head back. Tomorrow, we'll see what your bodies can really do."
---
Garion sat alone in his room, leaning back in his chair with a satisfied smirk while looking at the system screen.
"Alright, system… I've done a LOT these past months. Don't tell me I didn't finish any missions."
Garion crossed his arms proudly.
"First mission: Fill all disciple slots. Let's see… I have five direct disciples, fifty inner disciples, and five hundred outer disciples. All full. Completed."
He nodded to himself.
"Second mission: Become famous. Well, I crushed the Grand Elders of both clans and made the God Gym a top-tier force. If that's not famous, I don't know what is."
He leaned closer to the panel, eyes narrowing in excitement.
"And the last one… Bring Rachel back and appoint her as an elder. She's joined, she converted to the God Physique Path, and she's training under me. That's mission complete too."
He lifted his hands dramatically. "So... reward me."
The system chimed.
[Checking…]
[Verifying completed tasks…]
Garion grinned wider. "Hurry up, come on…"
Another line appeared.
[Still generating rewards… please wait one week.]
Garion's smile dropped instantly.
He stared at the screen."…A week?"
He slammed the table. "GODDAMMIT!"
The system did not respond.
Garion rubbed his face with both hands. "Why does a system need a week?! Haven't you prepared my rewards?!"
He flopped back in his chair with an annoyed groan.
"A week… ridiculous."
Still, a small smirk returned.
"Well… I guess the reward better be worth it."
