The next morning, the three new direct disciples gathered in the training hall.
The room was full of strange machines and things none of them had names for yet.
Arden stood in front of them with a notebook, while Dahlia leaned on a training machine with her usual mischievous smile.
Arden pointed at Valtor first. "Alright, Junior Brother Valtor. How do you usually fight?"
Valtor smirked confidently. "Simple. I use my body. Punch, kick, grab, and throw. I'll use whatever works."
Arden nodded, writing something. "So… full-body training for you."
Valtor cracked his knuckles proudly. "Finally something normal."
Arden moved to Seira. "How about you, Junior Sister Seira?"
Seira stood straight, arms crossed.
"In the Shivera Clan, we use ranged weapons. Bows, mostly. Precision and distance are our strengths."
Arden nodded again.
"Makes sense. But for your physique path, you'll still need full-body training. However, we'll focus a bit more on your legs, back, core, and shoulders since those support bow usage."
Seira dipped her chin slightly. "Understood."
Then Arden looked at Mersha. "And you, Junior Sister Mersha?"
Mersha held her backpack in front of her, speaking shyly.
"Um… in my clan, we use poison. So… we don't focus on hitting hard. We focus on speed. And getting close enough to poison the enemy as fast as possible."
Valtor took a half-step back. "Close enough to poison?!"
Seira moved her chair an inch away.
Mersha blinked innocently. "Is… something wrong?"
Arden smiled politely to calm them.
"So for you too, full-body training. But with extra focus on leg strength and flexibility. You'll need explosive movement."
Dahlia clapped once loudly. "So basically, no matter what you three say, it's all full-body, huh?"
Arden nodded without hesitation. "Of course. The God Physique Path requires every part of your body to be strong."
Dahlia laughed. "Alright, Arden! Time to introduce you three juniors to the God Gym's machines!"
She marched toward a massive metal structure with bars, pulleys, and weights stacked neatly at the side.
Valtor's eyes sparkled. "Whoa… what is THAT?"
Arden chuckled. "This is the multi-function strength rack. You can do hundreds of exercises with it."
Valtor slapped the side of the machine. "Hundreds? I like this already."
Dahlia pointed upward. "Alright! This is the pull-up bar. We use it to train your back and arms. Watch."
She hopped up and pulled herself effortlessly, her muscles tightening smoothly.
"One… two… three…"
She dropped down gracefully. "Your turn."
Valtor stepped forward. "Easy."
He grabbed the bar and pulled, but his body trembled already, barely lifting it halfway.
Seira raised an eyebrow. "You said that was easy."
Valtor dropped down. "Shut up. My body is adjusting."
Next, Dahlia led them to a row of strange rotating platforms.
Mersha poked one carefully. "What… does this do?"
Arden explained, "These are balance trainers. Stand on them, and your whole body will shake. Perfect for leg, core, and joint stability."
Dahlia jumped onto one. It wobbled under her, but she stayed steady.
"See? Fun."
Valtor stepped up confidently and instantly wobbled like a newborn deer.
Seira covered her mouth. "Don't fall."
Valtor shouted, "I know!"
Mersha tried stepping on hers. She wobbled, flailed, and grabbed Arden's sleeve.
"S-sorry! It moved!"
Arden steadied her gently. "It's supposed to. Take it slow."
Dahlia took them next to a reclining bench with a heavy bar above it.
"And this," she said proudly, "is the bench press. Chest training. Very important."
Valtor lay down immediately. "Let me try!"
He lifted the bar… slowly… shaking…
"I CAN DO IT..."
Arden casually grabbed the bar with one finger. "Don't drop it."
Valtor groaned. "I wasn't going to drop it!"
Seira observed the machine carefully. "Upper body strength training… this is logical."
She took her turn, lifting the bar with controlled movements.
Arden nodded approvingly. "Good form."
Mersha tried next.
She lay down, grabbed the bar… and froze.
"It's heavy…"
Dahlia patted her head. "It's okay. Start with no weight. Form first."
Finally, Dahlia led them toward the squat rack.
Valtor grinned. "I know this one. Squats."
Arden nodded. "Yes. Legs, hips, core... very important."
Seira tightened her gloves. "Show me the proper form."
Dahlia demonstrated with perfect technique.
"Feet shoulder-width… chest up… lower slowly…"
Valtor copied confidently. "Simple."
CRACK!
Valtor frowned. "My knees made a sound. Was that normal?"
Arden smiled, waving him off. "Yes. It's just your body adjusting."
Mersha lowered herself carefully. "It feels… strange. But good."
Dahlia stepped back, hands on hips. "See? You're getting it!"
Arden nodded, flipping his notebook shut.
"Good. Since you've already understood the basics of these machines… it's time for the next part."
Valtor raised an eyebrow. "Next part?"
Seira adjusted her gloves. "More training?"
Arden shook his head and reached into a nearby crate. "No. Supplements."
He pulled out three black bottles, each filled with a glowing red liquid.
He held them out calmly. "These are for you."
Valtor stared at the bottle suspiciously. "What the hell is this? It looks like lava in a cup."
Seira frowned, crossing her arms. "The smell alone feels dangerous."
Mersha leaned closer, eyes sparkling. "It looks like poison…"
Valtor and Seira both shot her a look.
Arden smiled gently. "Don't worry. It's not poison."
He tapped the bottle lightly. "This is the [Demonic Creatine]. A special workout supplement Master Garion created."
Dahlia grinned proudly. "Trust me. It works wonders."
Seira frowned. "What does it do?"
Arden explained, "It boosts your power and mana absorption to be even better during training."
Valtor tilted his head. "And the side effects?"
Arden replied calmly, "Overheating. Red glowing veins. Maybe a bit of aggression."
Valtor smirked. "Sounds perfect."
Seira sighed softly. "Of course you'd say that."
Arden held the bottles closer. "Just drink it."
The three stared at the bottles like they were bombs.
Valtor sniffed his. "Smells like… spicy water?"
Seira lifted her bottle slightly. "It's… intimidating."
Mersha smiled faintly. "It really does look like poison…"
Arden clapped once. "Drink."
Dahlia added, "Don't be babies. We all drank this when we started."
The three exchanged nervous looks.
