The next morning, the three juniors practically sprinted down the hallway.
Valtor clutched his stomach. "MOVE! MOVE! MOVE! I'M STARVING!!"
Seira walked fast beside him, eyes sharp. "We should've woken up even earlier…"
Mersha held her backpack and nodded quickly. "I feel like I could eat a whole table…"
They turned a corner and almost crashed into Dahlia, who stood there with a smirk.
"Well, well, well... Fancy seeing you three here so early."
Valtor stopped and pointed at her dramatically. "YOU! This is your fault!"
Seira nodded. "We fell asleep instantly last night… and now we feel like we haven't eaten for a week."
Mersha rubbed her tummy, voice small. "My stomach growled three times already…"
Dahlia laughed loudly. "Of course it did! That's the [Demonic Protein] effect."
Arden walked over, sipping tea casually.
"Yes. It causes extreme drowsiness after repairing your muscles. And when you wake up… you get unusually hungry."
Valtor grabbed Arden's shoulders. "WHY didn't you warn us?!"
Arden smiled gently. "If I told you, you might've panicked."
Seira closed her eyes for a moment. "At least the recovery feels good… My body is lighter."
Mersha hopped once. "I feel energized! But… very hungry."
Dahlia clapped her hands. "Then hurry up! The restaurant is already full."
All three froze.
"…Already?" Valtor asked slowly.
Dahlia pointed behind her with her thumb.
The sound of yelling, plates clashing, and footsteps echoed down the hallway.
Valtor's face turned pale. "No way…"
Seira placed a hand over her forehead. "Not again…"
Mersha's tiny voice trembled. "I-I don't want to fight the seniors…"
Arden stepped aside politely. "Good luck."
Dahlia grinned, pointing her finger toward the restaurant. "GO!"
Valtor exploded into a run. "OUT OF MY WAY! I NEED FOOD!!"
Seira dashed right after him. "Do NOT take my porridge!"
Mersha ran with little fast steps. "Wait for meee!!"
Dahlia chuckled as she watched them disappear into the chaos.
"Ah… juniors grow up so fast."
Arden nodded calmly.
"They grow up even faster when hungry."
---
The three juniors dragged themselves into the training hall.
They were full from breakfast, sweaty from fighting for food, and mentally preparing for torture.
Valtor stretched his arms. "Ahhh, that was a good meal."
Seira wiped her lips with a napkin. "Chaotic… but effective."
Mersha patted her stomach. "I'm still a little hungry…"
Before they could rest, Dahlia appeared in front of them with a bright smile and three familiar bottles.
"Good morning, juniors... Here you go!"
Valtor's smile died instantly. "No. Not again."
Seira's eyes twitched. "…This again?"
Mersha clapped softly. "Yay. More drinks."
Dahlia placed the bottles into their hands one by one.
"Of course! From now on, your daily routine is simple."
She held up her fingers proudly.
"Breakfast, drink, train, dinner, drink, train, sleep, and repeat."
All three stared at her.
Valtor blinked. "…So basically torture."
Seira frowned deeply. "This lifestyle is unacceptable."
Mersha nodded politely. "But the drinks are fun."
Dahlia giggled. "You'll get used to it!"
Valtor sighed, rubbing his face.
"I don't mind the training. Honestly, this place is way better than my clan's training grounds."
He cracked his knuckles proudly. "The food fight is fun too. Good reflex training."
Seira glared at him. "Normal people don't use breakfast as a combat drill."
She looked away with an annoyed huff.
"In the Shivera Clan, everything is clean. It's elegant and in order. Not… whatever this madness is."
Mersha raised her hand. "I like the drinks. They're interesting."
Valtor looked at her like she was insane. "Please stop being okay with the drinks. You're scaring me."
Seira nodded. "Agreed."
Dahlia smirked, waving her hand. "Well! Whether you like it or not, you have to drink it. That's God Gym rules!"
Valtor groaned. "Fine… but why does it taste like my tongue is burning off?"
Seira let out a tired sigh. "Maybe today it won't be as terrible."
Mersha happily opened her bottle. "It smells nice."
The other two glared at her again.
Valtor grumbled as he lifted his bottle. "I swear, if this is worse than yesterday..."
"Go on," Dahlia said cheerfully. "Drink!"
The three gulped down the [Demonic Creatine] again, and instantly they reacted.
Valtor, just like before, shouted like a madman. "HOT! HOT! HOT! WHY IS THIS STILL SO SPICY?!"
Seira was not as loud but still groaning. "My throat… is on fire…!"
Mersha, on the other hand, just licked her lips. "Mmm. Warm."
Dahlia laughed loudly.
"See? It's good for you!"
Valtor wiped tears from his eyes. "How can YOU drink this stuff?!"
Dahlia blinked. "Oh, me? Simple!"
She grabbed a bottle, opened it, and took a huge gulp.
For two seconds, she stood still.
Then...
"SPICY!! IT'S STILL SPICY EVERY TIME!!!"
Valtor pointed at her. "HAH! Even you can't handle it!"
Seira covered her mouth, trying not to laugh.
Mersha tilted her head. "But Senior Sister, you said it's fine…"
Dahlia coughed, sticking out her tongue.
"I-I never said it wasn't spicy! I just said it's good for you!"
Arden walked in quietly, hands behind his back.
"Oh, they already drank the creatine? Good. Time for training."
All three froze.
Dahlia clapped.
"No breaks! The effect is stronger now!"
Arden nodded calmly.
"Let's begin."
And like that, another torture day officially began.
---
Garion stood on the side of the training hall, watching everything with a smile.
His disciples were moving exactly how he wanted.
His three newest direct disciples had already changed their cultivation paths and were grinding through machine workouts.
Their faces were sweaty, their muscles shaking, but their determination never fell.
"Good," Garion murmured. "They're adapting fast."
Farther across the hall, the 450 outer disciples were still gathered around tables, pale and trembling as they studied cadavers.
Senior disciples lectured them loudly, pointing at organs and muscle groups.
The chaos was loud… but progress was progress.
"At this rate," Garion muttered, "they should all be ready to change paths in two or three days."
He nodded proudly.
His sect was growing.
But the thing that caught his attention the most… was Mersha.
It was not her body, strength, or even her flexibility, but it was her weird mouth.
She drank his supplements like they were fruit juice.
Garion rubbed his chin.
"That little girl… How did she gulp down [Demonic Creatine] and [Demonic Protein] like they were snacks?"
He remembered Valtor's screaming, Seira's trembling hands, and Dahlia's dramatic reactions.
And then he remembered Mersha's words.
"It's warm."
"It's delicious."
"I've tasted worse."
Garion sigh-laughed. "Worse? What kind of family is she from…?"
He was really genuinely interested in her.
