A full week passed since the system told Garion to 'wait'.
And today… the notification finally appeared.
Garion was alone in his room, sitting on the edge of his bed and grinning, rubbing his hands together.
"Good. Finally. System, give me my reward."
[Reward Distribution… Complete.]
Garion leaned closer, smirking. "Come on… give me something good."
The first reward appeared:
[First Reward: Divine Dojo]
[Effect: Training Hall and Learning Hall fused into one supreme facility.]
[Description: A divine space where studying, training, and cultivating happen together. All equipment auto-adjusts to match the user's strength, talent, and physique.]
Garion blinked. "A… super training hall? Everything auto-adjusts?"
He laughed softly. "Good. My disciples won't have excuses anymore."
Then the second reward popped up:
[Second Reward: Divine Smith]
[Effect: Divine Equipment Creation Hall unlocked.]
[Description: A hall filled with forging stations, crafting tables, and system-guided machines. Allows creation of divine tools, weapons, machines, and specialized training items.]
Garion raised an eyebrow.
"A divine smithy? Good. Now I can build machines that actually keep up with me."
He crossed his arms, satisfied, but the system wasn't done.
[Third Reward: Divine Cafeteria]
[Effect: Divine supplement creation ability fused with the restaurant.]
[Description: A cafeteria where food prepares itself using system ingredients. Can create divine supplements. Auto-heals, buffs, and energizes disciples.]
Garion leaned back, blinking. "…What?"
He laughed loudly. "This system really knows me well."
He stood up, pacing the room with excitement.
"So the rewards aren't items… but entire upgraded HALLS?"
He ran a hand through his hair, smirking even wider.
"My God Gym is about to evolve again."
He looked out the window toward the existing training buildings, imagining them transforming into divine structures glowing with power.
He cracked his knuckles.
"Good. Very good."
Then he stretched his arms and nodded to himself.
"I'll upgrade everything tonight. Don't want to scare the disciples during the day."
He sat back on his bed, excitement buzzing through his veins.
"Divine Dojo… Divine Smith… Divine Cafeteria… This is going to be fun."
---
The next morning, the disciples rushed toward the restaurant like usual.
They were half awake, starved from the effect of the [Demonic Protein] they drank last night.
But the moment they stepped inside... Everyone froze.
Valtor's jaw dropped. "HUH?! Why is this place HUGE now?!"
Seira blinked slowly, stunned. "This hall… doubled in size overnight."
Mersha gasped softly. "It's so shiny…"
The restaurant no longer looked like a chaotic school cafeteria.
It was bright… clean… spacious…
The tables were neatly arranged, the floors sparkled, and warm steam drifted through the air.
And also... rows and rows of dishes lined the counters, more than anyone had ever seen before.
A senior disciple stumbled forward, eyes trembling.
"W-What happened…? There's… too much food…"
Another sniffed the air.
"It smells amazing. Better than yesterday. Better than ANY day."
A third disciple started crying.
"We… we won't have to fight for food anymore…?"
Valtor pushed past them, eyes sparkling dangerously.
"MOVE OUTTA MY WAY! LET ME SEE!"
He grabbed a piece of roast meat, bit into it and his entire body shook.
"OH MY GOD! THIS IS DELICIOUS!"
Seira took a sip of soup and paused, her cold eyes widening a fraction.
"This taste… is deeper than usual. The mana density is higher. This is… fantastic."
Mersha took a spoonful of glowing porridge.
Her face lit up in pure joy. "It's sweet! I love this!"
All around the room, disciples screamed in excitement.
"THE FOOD IS BETTER THAN BEFORE!"
"HEY! THERE'S ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE!""LOOK! EVEN THE VEGETABLES GLOW!"
"I'M GONNA EAT UNTIL I CAN'T WALK!"
Arden stood near the entrance, completely stunned. The entire restaurant had changed so much.
"…How can the restaurant become like this overnight?" he muttered.
Dahlia stepped beside him, hands on her hips, watching the mayhem with a big proud grin.
"It seems Master made some changes," she said. "Come on, Arden. You know how he is."
Arden blinked. "Changes…? This is more than 'changes.' This is a full reformation."
Dahlia laughed. "Well, yeah. He built the God Gym in one night too. You really think a bigger cafeteria is a problem for him?"
Arden sighed deeply, rubbing his forehead. "So he created all this on his own? Overnight?"
"Yep," Dahlia replied. "He probably got something new and used it for this. You know how that goes."
Arden looked around again, amazed.
"I see…" he said softly. "Master Garion… truly is ridiculous."
Dahlia nudged him with her elbow. "Ridiculously amazing!"
Arden smiled a little. "Yes… that too."
A senior disciple ran past them screaming as he carried a mountain of dumplings.
"THESE TASTE DIVINE! I CAN FEEL MY MANA ASCENDING!"
Valtor raised a giant turkey leg. "LONG LIVE BREAKFAST!"
Seira calmly sipped her soup. "This is… dangerously good."
Mersha waved happily. "Senior Sister Dahlia! The pudding glows!"
Arden exhaled slowly.
"…I suppose this is the new normal."
Dahlia giggled.
---
The disciples poured out of the Divine Cafeteria with full stomachs and sparkling eyes.
For once, everyone looked genuinely happy and was a little heavier from overeating.
Valtor burped loudly. "BEST. BREAKFAST. EVER."
Seira rubbed her mouth with a napkin. "The quality was… impressive."
Mersha hugged a pudding cup. "I want to eat there every day…"
The crowd split into two groups.
Some were heading toward the training hall and others toward the learning hall.
But when they reached the doors…
They all stopped.
Valtor blinked. "Huh? Why do both doors look… the same?"
Seira stepped closer, touching one door. "The energy flow… is identical."
Mersha tugged Arden's sleeve. "Senior Brother… the signs are wrong."
Arden frowned. "No. They're correct. Something else has changed."
The disciples hesitated, then opened both doors, and to their surprise, they led to the same hall.
And right in the center, standing with arms crossed and a smug grin, was their master, Garion.
He glanced at the crowd like a king surveying his kingdom.
"Hello, disciples," he said calmly. "Did you have a nice breakfast?"
The entire hall nodded at once.
Valtor shouted, "YES, MASTER! IT WAS AMAZING!"
Seira nodded politely. "It was… very good."
Mersha raised her hand. "The pudding glowed…"
Garion smirked. "Good for you."
A ripple of excitement and fear passed through the disciples.
Garion lifted a hand. "Now, I want to announce something."
Everyone instinctively straightened their backs.
"Some facilities in the God Gym have been upgraded."
Whispers spread like wildfire.
Garion pointed at the ceiling. "Just like the restaurant becoming the [Divine Cafeteria]."
He raised an eyebrow. "Was the food good?"
The disciples nodded so hard their necks almost snapped.
"More than good!"
"Amazing!"
"There was SO MUCH MEAT!"
"I ate until I cried!!"
Garion smirked proudly.
"Good. That means..."
He paused and then smiled wide.
"You'll be able to train MUCH harder now."
The entire hall froze.
"WHAT?!"
"MASTER, PLEASE WAIT!!"
"WE JUST ATE!!"
"NOOO!!"
"This is a trap! Breakfast was a trap!!"
Valtor clutched his head. "I KNEW IT! FOOD THAT GOOD HAD A PRICE!!"
Seira sighed heavily. "…Of course."
