Once they calmed down, everyone decided to not talk about it for now, as they would grow emotional once again. They had matches soon, so they needed good mental health, after all.

Aegon called Rovan, explaining to him the situation and also asking him to handle things back at Mount Cereberion, the home of House Valeria.

"Even House Valeria is complicated from the inside, huh," Xavier said, noticing his actions.

"Oh, it definitely is." Aegon agreed without any hesitation. "That's why I'm not going there anytime soon. I'll need to deal with a lot of stuff."

Since they didn't have much to do, they began watching the matches again. Round two had sixteen matches in total with the first being theirs.

So, they had plenty of time to rest and observe other teams' matches. One major obstacle was out, but more remained like other Gods' Houses and the Prince himself. Unlike his sister, he was more sinister and had better players.

They watched as House Ares once again won their round against House Amaterasu, another God House. Then, House Freyja also clashed against another Gods' Houses, but barely managed to win and advanced to Round Three.

Raphael also won, even though it wasn't an easy battle, so Aegon found many new things about their team. This was the advantage every team held over each other, so it was best to keep secrets.

"You still have more secrets?" Cali asked, once Raphael's match was over."I think we'll need something more to win against them."

"I'll keep my Rune Formations for them." Aegon answered with a smile. "Actually, I have just the perfect Rune Formation for this match, but for that I need you all to go wild without a care about winning or losing."

"Huh? What kind of strategy is that?" Xavier asked, perplexed.

"You'll understand it later. It's a surprise," Aegon chuckled and said. "Just remember, even if we're basically on the brink of losing, don't be careful. Be as destructive as you can be and make your enemies the same too. Engage in as many battles as you can and destroy everything."

"Sounds like I'll enjoy that match," Cali laughed, as she punched empty air, creating a sonic boom as if her fist had cut through the air.

"Hehehehe! This is a perfect task for me!" Rosa grinned widely, as she asked, "Can I put some explosions?"

"Anything causing immense destruction is allowed," Aegon nodded. "Just go wild in that match because I'll be taking a back seat to prepare for our winning."

"Sounds impossible to win with a ridiculous strategy, but I guess that's just you being you," Elara giggled softly and said. "We'll trust you on this."

"What about House Ares?"

Just like that, they continued to discuss the battles or some random topics as the matches continued till the Round Two ended.

A break followed in which they mostly just refreshed themselves and brought themselves into better conditions once again. They didn't know who they would face in Round Three, but it wouldn't be an easy battle for sure.

Just then, they heard knocks from the door, making them confused. Even though all the rooms were connected to one another through the passages, rarely did teams contact each other like this.

Curious, Aegon sent Xavier to open the door and noticed two silhouettes standing outside the room, one quite familiar to them.

"Sis, what are you doing here?" Xavier's surprised voice traveled to their ears, as he let the two figures in and closed the door.

"Luna! Want some pancakes?" Aegon asked, offering the pancakes he had saved up just for her.

"I'll never reject this, Little Gon," Luna chuckled and picked one up as she sat down on the chair casually.

Just as she was about to put the pancakes in her mouth, she remembered something, feeling various gazes on her. She coughed and put down the pancakes.

"Apologies! I forgot to introduce my senior," she coughed to hide her embarrassment and said, pointing to the second figure. "She's Senior Morgan, the Head of House Freyja. She wanted to meet you."

Aegon turned towards the other figure, a young slender woman in her early twenties. Short black hair cut to shoulder length, brown eyes full of curiosity as she pushed her gold-tinted glasses up, she looked beautiful but her beauty paled in comparison to other people in the same room.

She didn't seem to mind it, as she stared deeply at Aegon and said in a calm voice, "I'm Morgan Venture and I want to negotiate with you."

"The name is Aegon Valeria Augustus from House..." Aegon paused, just remembering that he didn't even know our House's name.

He turned towards Rosa who shrugged, "I forgot."

'Liar!' Aegon rolled his eyes and turned back to Morgan. "In any case, what do you want? Also, please take a seat. You're Luna's senior so naturally you're our senior too."

"That's a good thing, then!" Morgan quickly sat beside Luna and said. "What I want to say is that we will forfeit if there's a match between us in the next rounds."

"Huh?" Aegon was confused, just like everyone else.

Feeling their gaze on her once again, Luna's nose wrinkled as she couldn't even eat her pancakes in peace, "It's her decision and I supported it. I want to fight beside you all, not against you."

"Ah! And here I was looking forward to Gon beating you black and blue," Xavier sighed in regret.

"Little brother, you don't want to see tomorrow's sun?" Luna smiled warmly, but all others could see was an evil smile.

"Forget what I just said. Please!"

Aegon shook his head and asked, "What is in this for you?"

"Of course, we want compensation for it," Morgan pushed her glasses up once again, her smile turning slightly deranged. "We want you to accompany our Magic classes for a while and let us experiment on it."

The word experiment instantly brought bad memories to Aegon, as he shifted backwards and frowned, "I think I'll refuse."

"Little Gon, don't mind her behavior." Luna hurriedly interjected, seeing that things were taking a bad turn. "She's obsessed with magic, just like you, so her words can come off as weird, but believe me. She means no harm."
