Chapter 355: The Eccentric Magic Cube Dragon

"Look! That's our Dragon City's Lord!"

Nightmare No. 2 waved his arms towards the position of the Magic Cube Dragon with extreme excitement. You could tell how excited he was from his tone.

The sinister dragon, covered in eerie pupils, slowly moved through the street, patrolling its territory to ensure no unusual occurrences.

Appearing in front of these ownerless Fierce Ghosts who sought refuge in Dragon City also helped leave a good impression on more of them, spreading the Dragon City Lord's excellence further.

"Hmm? Nightmare? Since when did he have such two companions? Seems a bit unfamiliar."

The Magic Cube Dragon looked puzzled at the two Fierce Ghosts standing beside Nightmare No. 2, who both had exceptionally unique appearances and auras, especially one of whom he couldn't even fathom the level of strength.

There were very few Fierce Ghosts in Dragon City who liked Nightmare No. 2, after all, no one would easily like someone who could probe into their memories and dreams at any time.

Therefore, generally speaking, even if Nightmare No. 2 wandered the streets, the surrounding Fierce Ghosts would unconsciously stay a bit further away.

So, the identities of those two Fierce Ghosts seemed quite intriguing.

"Nightmare, later bring your friends to my manor to see me."

When the Magic Cube Dragon passed by Nightmare No. 2 during its street patrol, it notified in a voice almost impossible to detect.

This message was also heard by Wu Liang's Nightmare.

After all, it and Nightmare No. 2 were of the same origin.

Then it turned and nodded gently to Wu Liang.

Watching the Magic Cube Dragon slowly move across the street, gradually disappearing at the end of the road.

For some reason, a strange feeling arose in Wu Liang's heart.

"Why does that dragon feel familiar? It shouldn't be, is there anything in this Fierce Ghost World that I am familiar with?"

The familiarity was extremely subtle, not only due to the opponent's appearance and aura but also because of certain ability fluctuations that gave him a sense of having seen it somewhere.

That wasn't the Magic Cube Dragon's own spatial fluctuation.

But rather, the aura of an external object.

"Mist! Follow me, after the City Lord's street patrol ends, I'll introduce you."

With that, Nightmare No. 2 started to head towards an infrequently traveled alley.

Leading Wu Liang through various corners of the city.

A person and two ghosts took about ten minutes to reach a dead-end where there were no Fierce Ghosts.

Seeing the confusion in Wu Liang's eyes, Nightmare No. 2 explained, "You must think that the most splendid mansion in the city center is where the City Lord resides, right? Actually, it's not. It's just a building used to mislead other Lords."

Then pointing to the wall at the end of the dead-end continued, "With the War of Chaos coming, the City Lord set up hidden spatial transfer points in various places, only through here can you reach the real mansion."

As soon as the words fell, it went to the end and wrapped its Spiritual Power around the wall.

Wu Liang and Nightmare watched as that trace of Spiritual Power was gradually consumed by some sort of power within the wall.

Soon after, the entire brick wall began to ripple with invisible spatial powers undulating.

After making a follow-along gesture, Nightmare No. 2 astonishingly went straight into the wall.

Strangely, its figure didn't crash directly into the wall but, like plunging into lake water, apart from causing slight spatial power ripples on the wall's surface, it entirely disappeared from its original spot.

Wu Liang, noting this resemblance to Harry Potter's Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, shrugged his shoulders and confidently slammed himself into it.

Feeling the surrounding space crazily transitioning, finally settling in a courtyard where he couldn't even determine whether it was still in Dragon City.

Looking up, in front of him, besides Nightmare No. 2 who was opening the door, there was only a huge building grand enough to resemble a palace, with decorations and a splendid appearance completely different in style from any other buildings he'd seen in Dragon City.

This further confirmed to Wu Liang—this place seemed no longer within Dragon City.

If such a conspicuous building existed within Dragon City, it would be easy to observe from any corner.

But from entering the city till now, he hadn't seen similar architecture at all.

Even the city mansion that Nightmare No. 2 referred to as a decoy didn't have such grandeur.

"Please, do have a seat in the room for a while, and I'll notify you once the City Lord returns," Nightmare No. 2 said, smiling as he led Wu Liang and the others to a room for receiving guests.

Upon entering, a hint of surprise flashed in Wu Liang's eyes.

He sensed that familiar feeling again; something in this mansion was something he had seen before.

"Boss, it smells so good! Oh, it's this medicine, then I won't eat it."

Suddenly, Puppet Ghost's helpless voice echoed in his mind.

This statement immediately stunned Wu Liang.

So fragrant yet not wanting to eat?

Wasn't that the reaction Puppet Ghost had when it sensed the Immortal Pill of Undying!

He finally recalled what it was about the Magic Cube Dragon and this mansion that made him feel so familiar—Immortal Pill of Undying!

That dragon had taken the Immortal Pill of Undying granted by the First Emperor!

"Ha, indeed, it's worthwhile meeting Dragon City's Lord," Wu Liang couldn't help but marvel at his fortuity.

Unexpectedly, this Magic Cube Dragon was directly connected with this world's First Emperor, and even received the Immortal Pill of Undying from him, implying their relationship might not be simple.
