My College Teacher is My Children's Mom

Chapter 512: Trouble with the Four Treasures!

Afterward, the quads went out to have fun together.

Lin Feng and Zhang Yuxi took Little Bao for a stroll through the city center.

Compared to winter in Yangcheng, Sanya was like a pleasant, endless summer, never scorching hot. Zhang Yuxi put on a sun hat and placed Little Bao in his stroller, and the couple enjoyed some window shopping and local delicacies.

By the end of the afternoon, Zhang Yuxi had bought some interesting handmade trinkets, including several toys especially for Little Bao.

On their way back, Lin Feng received a phone call. The kids were at the police station, and their parents needed to come over immediately.

Hearing this, Lin Feng's heart clenched. The quads were always so well-behaved. How could they have ended up at the police station?

When they arrived at their front door, Lin Feng handed Little Bao to Zhang Yuxi.

"Honey, I'm going to the supermarket to buy some beef."

"Huh? Don't we have beef in the fridge?"

"I want to buy some more and see what else they have."

Zhang Yuxi, holding Little Bao, replied, "Alright, be back soon!"

Lin Feng kissed Zhang Yuxi's forehead, then Little Bao's. "Daddy will be back in a flash!"

He went out and hailed a taxi. Ten minutes later, he arrived at the police station.

Besides his four children, Lin Feng also saw a few other kids their age, all of whom had bruised faces. Seeing his own children were unharmed, Lin Feng breathed a sigh of relief and gave them a reassuring look.

The quads were no strangers to tense situations and weren't panicked at all. Furthermore, they knew they weren't at fault, so they had nothing to fear.

"Hello, I'm the parent of these four. Could you tell me what happened?"

"Well, when we found them, the kids were in the middle of a brawl. Some of yours are pretty tough fighters."

"Yes, I know which ones you mean. They've won gold, silver, and bronze medals in Olympic Taekwondo. They know how to handle themselves."

The officer, who had been casual until now, suddenly adopted a serious expression.

Lin Feng continued, "I'd like to know why they were fighting. I know my children; they are not the type to stir up trouble."

The officer cleared his throat. "It was just a typical squabble, nothing too serious!"

Lin Feng raised an eyebrow. "A typical squabble? What was it about?"

From the moment he had walked in, Lin Feng had exuded an overpowering aura. Though he appeared polite, the courteous smile never quite reached his eyes. Although the officer was ostensibly in charge, Lin Feng's commanding presence made it feel like *he* was the one being questioned.

"The two sides have different stories. Your children claim the other boys wanted to befriend your daughters, and when they refused, an argument broke out that escalated into a fight."

"The other side says that's not what happened..." The officer coughed lightly. "They claim your child broke their new phone and demanded compensation. The fight supposedly started because they couldn't agree on a price."

Lin Feng trusted his children unconditionally. The quads knew their limits and were low-key by nature; they wouldn't go looking for trouble for no reason. If it had been just Second Treasure and Fourth Treasure, he might have had a sliver of doubt. But with all four of them together, it seemed highly unlikely.

Lin Feng asked calmly, "May I speak with my children?"

"No problem."

Lin Feng walked over, and First Treasure, as the eldest, stepped forward to explain what had happened.

The four of them had been at an electronics mall, looking at a newly released phone and discussing whether to buy it. That's when they ran into the other three boys. The trio wanted to ask Second Treasure and Third Treasure out, making their romantic intentions clear.

After the girls refused, the boys became more aggressive, taking photos of them with their phone and trying to force them to give them their contact information.

Fourth Treasure, who had a short fuse, reacted first, smacking the phone out of the boy's hand. It hit the ground and broke. The others immediately began spewing all sorts of unspeakable filth, all of it directed at Second and Third Treasure. Not knowing they were all siblings, the nature of their insults was self-evident.

Lin Feng's face turned grim. "Good. You did the right thing. If you'd crippled them, Dad would've just paid their medical bills and supported them for life."

The other three boys sat nearby. They had already been taught a lesson by First, Second, and Fourth Treasure. Covered in bruises, they now stared at Lin Feng in terror.

As if on cue, Fourth Treasure snorted coldly. "Dad, don't worry. The three of us know what we're doing. We only hit places that hurt a lot, but we didn't cause any internal injuries."

Second Treasure added, "The visible injuries are from First Brother."

My God, is this entire family this terrifying?

Lin Feng turned to glance at the three boys, his gaze icy. Since his kids had already dealt with them, he didn't feel the need to press the matter further.

He asked the officer, "What's the procedure now?"

The officer handed him some documents. "All the children were partly at fault, and we've spoken to them. You just need to sign here."

Without another word, Lin Feng signed his name.

Nearby, Second and Fourth Treasure tacitly made fists.

"Listen up, boys. I hope you learn to behave yourselves in the future!"

"Consider yourselves lucky I showed mercy today and didn't cripple you. If there's a next time... heh heh..."

Just then, a parent of the three boys arrived. Though it was only one person, they had the bluster of three.

"Hey! You're not going anywhere!" the parent shouted, stopping Lin Feng's family. "You think you can just beat up my kids and walk away? Not a chance! You have to pay for their medical bills, exam fees, and emotional distress! And you're paying for the new phone! Then, you will apologize!"

The faces of Lin Feng's family darkened.

The officer tried to mediate. "Ma'am, they will compensate for the phone. Your children only have superficial wounds; it's not serious. Besides, your kids started it, so they bear the primary responsibility."

The parent wouldn't hear it, insisting they only saw that their three children were the ones who were hurt.

The quads were shaking with rage, wanting to rush over and teach the adult a lesson too.

Though equally angry, Lin Feng calmed his children and made a phone call.

He was a black card holder at his bank, which meant he had his own personal financial manager and a private lawyer. Despite having a lawyer on retainer, whose service fees were deducted annually, Lin Feng had never once used their services. The bank provided 24/7 assistance to premium clients like Lin Feng, ready to resolve any trouble they faced.

Lin Feng dialed the service line, and they promised someone would arrive within fifteen minutes.

"You all go home now. Leave this to Dad." He then added, "Stop by the supermarket on the way back and buy some beef. That's what I told your mom when I left."

The quads wanted to stay.

"Go on. Mom and Little Bao are home alone. I'm worried."

Third Treasure offered to stay with him.

Lin Feng shook his head. "No need. I can handle the rest."

The quads nodded and turned to leave.

The other parent objected. "You can't leave!"

Lin Feng's gaze turned cold. "My staying here is enough."

The parent finally quieted down, letting out a sharp huff before starting to demand compensation again.

Lin Feng unhurriedly asked, "How much?"

The parent thought for a moment before making an exorbitant demand.

"For all three of them combined! Let's see... it should be at least a hundred thousand, right?"
