Chapter 215: Rosie Intervenes

The sorcerer had made a circle and cast a spell. Something that Marty wouldn't have allowed him to do. As it took a minute. But it seemed to have healed the wounds Marty had inflicted upon him.

He seemed to be taking his time.

"What should we do?" said Kurt, "Is the trial still happening?"

"I suppose he failed, I will speak to Horus about it. I believe the battle had a dishonored win, he will make a verdict."

"I meant about him?" said Kurt.

The sorcerer was actually casually flying towards their group.

"He did say one at a time," said Rosie.

The Student came up. "It looks like I'm missing an opponent, have you seen him?"

"That was not a true victory," said Rosie.

"Like I care," said the student. "Does that mean it will be you three against me?"

Rosie smiled, "You don't know why I was a witness."

"I know you call yourselves gods and angels. I'm not so impressed actually."

Rosie flew forward. "You have been summoned by God-King Horus, will you accompany me?"

The sorcerer laughed. "God-King?"

"I am authorized to use force in this matter."

"You think I wasn't holding back? You three are still here."

"So you choose force."

The sorcerer pointed his wand at Rosie. But in a blink, Rosie disappeared from her position and had the student's neck in her hand. And with her other hand removed the wand from his hand.

Rosie placed the wand in her robes when the man tried to pull her hand from his throat.

She searched his robes and found two devices.

"Which one of these did you send him two, and the student tapped one of the devices?"

Rosie signaled Layla to take it. Still holding the student sorcerer by the throat.

If there was any question of who was stronger Rosie or Marty it was firmly answered.

Layla had opened the device. Opened the portal and asked Kurt to make a signal with a water ball for Marty. After a few minutes, he had come back to the portal.

"You have failed, but I will speak with Horus. I think he may disqualify the trial."

"Thank you," said Marty.

"You should not have toyed with him."

"Yes, Archangel Rosie," said Marty, putting his head down.

"You may restrain him."

Marty had made some magical binding while Rosie held the student in place. Eventually releasing her grip from his throat.

"What the hell was that?" said the student.

"I told you, Lord Horus has summoned you. And I was authorized to use force."

"That was so disrespectful," said Marty, "acting as if you were running away."

"Seemed the easiest way," said the student.

"Well," said Marty, "you should be the one to present him."

"May we have our leave?" said Kurt.

"Yes, I would meet you at the Pillar," said Layla, "I can notify Ishtar. I can only bring one, so with a prisoner, you would have to fly him."

The two angels and their prisoner had started their way towards the gate's position. Layla slipped back to the well.

Kurt had to go back now and tell the army to bring another assault. With the enemy's main power gone.

He flew back to his position.

"What do you mean we won?" said a goblin charge.

"I mean we can go forward."

Kurt had managed to find the commander's tent. He was familiar with all of them. As this part of the front was from the Alliance. His goblins mostly support as air support, and a few minotaurs were acting as a Calvary. The main forces were their armies. So everyone inside was human.

"So you are this Lord Kurt, I am Commander Kennedy. It is a pleasure to finally meet you."

"A pleasure to meet you as well. The main problem has been captured. It may be a good time to push forward."

"You were just telling us to retreat," said Kennedy.

"I'm sure you got reports of the battle. It would not have been wise for your troops to be in the area for that."

Several of the people at the table made nervous looks at each other.

"So that's over, and our side won?"

"There was like a whole crazy explosion battle happening."

"Yes, that's my main report. I'm not here to tell you how to advance, just that the opportunity is there. Their main defense is gone. You know your troops better than I. If you need rest, then you do."

"This is welcome news," Commander Kennedy made a motion. And some people were making movements on the map on their table. "Is there anything else you need?"

"Well, I'm curious why there are no goblins here?"

"Goblins?"

"Do you think you understand their capabilities better than them? And how much can you push a wyvern?"

"Well…"

"I insist you bring them into discussions, if you do not I will order them to leave. If they want a Minotaur instead, you shall make accommodations. I was of course expecting my commander to be here." Kurt smiled at that last part wildly. "You can have internal discussions but if you intend to use them they will be in the discussion of how," said Kurt. "This doesn't look to me like an internal discussion."

The people looked back and forth at each other.

"Our alliance depends on respecting us," said Kurt, "and that includes the leaders of my troops. They are more than capable, I assure you. I'm not asking you to bring the whole horde in here."

"You're asking us to take orders from a goblin?" said a man.

"I expect the leaders of my goblins to be treated as the leaders of any human ally, I see a lot of different banners here. Do you all take orders directly from each other in that way? I don't think your alliance is one force here is it, but a couple of them? We should be treated as the rest with a seat at the table."

"I expect everyone here to take orders from me," said Commander Kennedy. "This is my force, and you are here supporting me. And I assure you this was only an internal discussion as you said. We will invite the leaders of your troops to further discussions of movements. You must understand we are of a different alliance."

"I'm not going to argue," said Kurt, "Of course, we are not taking command of the operation, Commander Kennedy. But, I think my displeasure has been noted."

"It has," said Commander Kennedy. "I will rectify this."

"Be sure that you do. I promise you you will not regret it. They have a lot of options you may not be aware of. And have a head for strategy you might not expect. We have taken a lot in a short amount of time." Kurt smiled and while walking out, "If you excuse me, now I have to go find my commander."

The funny part in Kurt's head is that they were shooting themselves in the foot not including the goblins. They had no idea the spellcraft that possessed most likely assuming the strength was only the wyverns. They could blast through a fortified wall allowing their troops to overwhelm. And enhance their troops.

He had easily found the goblin in charge and ordered him to attend the meeting. To be polite but not to allow them to dismiss him.
