"Don't be a pussy Zhou, it's just an uncommon corrupted"

As they walked through the streets of the dark side of rune city, Zeke mocked. Zhou who seemed to ba panicking at the moment had beads of sweat running down his forehead.

"I don't like how you're downplaying this, it's not okay" Zhou complained bitterly.

Yes it was an uncommon corrupted, one of the lowest intelligence monsters in the city. But it was also a goddamn Tyrant!!

If anyone were to tell him that Enzo at the star weaver stage would even think of trying to kill a tyrant, he would have never joined the house of darkness.

Unfortunately, he was already here, his life in danger.

"Calm down, we aren't doing the fighting, we're just bait and support" Raven shook her head, a trace of disdain in her tone for Zhou cowardice.

"Yeah" Zeke smiled,

Truth was, this was all Enzo's idea. The moment he noticed the beast he could have easily asked the holy eminents to take action against it.

After all, no sane person would willingly confront a tyrant.

But for Enzo; and some absurd reason he wanted to feel what it felt like to take the brunt of a tyrant hence suggesting this plan.

"Brace yourselves, it's going to ambush us when we pass by that corner" Enzo muttered his senses spread wide as he felt the movements of shadows around him.

In that moment everyone took precautions to protect themselves as from the corner a great with the wings of a bat glided through blocking their path forward.

"First" Enzo barked as raven formed her black orb and threw it at the beast, its weight shattering everything In sight.

Unfortunately, with a simple movement the beast was able to glide upwards narrowly escaping the mighty orb of destruction.

The attack was sudden and precise as if they had been waiting for it all this while catching the beast off guard as its gaze turned grim, then angry again.

There was nothing worse to it than weak humans trying to kill it. It was like a predator being hunted by prey.

"Gotcha!!" Enzo sneered as he watched the tyrant glide into the air above the buildings effectively entering the range of master Seth.

Puuuu

An arrow shot through the air and Periced directly through the chest of the beast sending it barreling into the ground.

In the skies above runs city, master Seth smiled then turned around to shot another shot on a Random direction.

Air support

That's what he was,

"It's not dead yet"

Seeing the creature roll on the ground as if it had been set ablaze, Enzo's eyes glowed with a brilliant blaze, without a second thought his figure disappeared from sight she spear plunging down where the heart was with the some intent of a swift murder.

Opportunities typically came once when it came to matters like these, guts and the intent to reap benefits were extremely important.

Unfortunately, strength was a prerequisite to all of this.

A Coily black tail suddenly wrapped around Enzo's neck gripping tightly before flinging him through the air striking a wall and collapsing it.

The strength difference was astronomical

"Rawr!!"

The beast, a gapping whole in its chest roared looking at the rest with hate in its eyes.

When the humans first came into the city, they had been attacked by swarm of bat creatures which they dispatched with minimal effort.

The problem however was how many they had killed. One couldn't understand how terrible a feeling it was to watch every member of ones family being killed.

It was enough to drive anyone, any creature absolutely mad.

So dispite the hole in its chest, the bat creature did not falter, it went straight for the Zeke and the rest with an unyielding resolve.

"Fuck!!" Zeke immediately took fight his hand gripping the collar of Zhou as he dodged the creatures charge.

In a split second they had spilt up, confusing the creature for a moment as it zoned in on its preferred prey.

Raven

Their plans had hit a road block not because it wasn't full proof, rather because they had underestimated a tyrant.

"Are we sure this thing is uncommon? How does it know to stay low enough to avoid master Seth's range?" Zhou complained as he was flown towards the beast as it chased after Raven.

The thing was far too intelligent far to calculating even when angry, but master Seth had verified without a doubt that it was uncommon.

"Let's just prepare to attack it, it doesn't matter whether it's uncommon or king. It has to still die" Zeke shook his head and snapped his fingers causing his hair to blaze.

Going up against a tyrant was a terrifying thing for anyone under the holy weaver rank, even he felt fear, but not only was it injured and dumb, they had no choice.

And so they started attacking the beast from all. Sides trying to drive it crazy. But no matter what they did the creature remained adamantly attacking Raven its claws cutting through the air.

"Fuck!!" Zeke frowned deeply worry painted all over his face.

This had become more dangerous than they predicted, if something wasn't done soon, Raven might actually be killed.

While Zeke was contemplating what to do next he received a message that immediately made him pause

[have you seen Enzo since this chase started?]

It was from Raven and struck a serious cord on his heart, at first he was pissed that she didn't care for her wellbeing and survival and was asking for Enzo.

Love could do that to a woman he understood

But then he really considered what he had just read.

That attack, dispite it's brutality was not enough to kill someone like Enzo. Heavily injured? Yes that made sense, unconscious, maybe. But killed? No!!

This line of thinking eventually lead him to a position where he asked

What in heavens name is Enzo planning to do?
