"Sorry for having you to deal with me." – said the bear beastman.
"Don't worry sir. Anything for the old friend." – replied the elderly rabbit beastman.
"Anyway, I have some news which may prove worthy of your time." – said the elderly beastman as he took out a letter which he instantly handed over to the bear beastman.
"Our spies had managed to secure some information that is worth noting." – said the rabbit beastman as the bear beastman started letting the context of the letter.
"…"
"Huh…. Okay…. Wow, I guess the kingdom really went to shit." – said the bear beastman.
"The golem dungeon, which we were able to handle easily before, had now turned into a disaster?"
"Is this true?"
"I don't know." – replied elder beastman.
"The messenger that was meant to deliver the report to the king was one of our spies, which we had place in case of the enemy trying to communicate via messenger."
"The thing that you have in your hands is the exact copy of the report that our spy had made."
"…"
"Welp…. I fucking knew it that the kingdom went to hell, the moment Ash took over…. But fuck me. This kingdom is really more fucked than I've thought."
"…"
"Then…. Then does that mean it will be possible to take back the kingdom from that traitor Duke Ash and his loyalist?" – asked elderly beastman.
"…"
"Taking back the control is one thing, but another is our dear neighbors." – replied the bear beastman.
(After we had lost the war, our forces were completely shattered and dispersed, allowing that bastard Ash forces to hunt down our people…. This left us with barely anything left to work with.)
(The king and his family managed to escape to safety… Meaning that the royal blood is still alive… Which in turn causes the authority of bastard Ash to dwindler.)
(Not only that, because of how forceful he was and how the threated his soldiers, his reputation are currently about being "cruel" and "mad".)
(Become of that, people are rebelling against him.)
(They don't trust him one bit…. And they have every bit right reason to do that.)
(Honestly? The moment he became the king, the entire kingdom became his enemy.)
(The only ones on his side are his loyalist, A.K.A corrupted nobles or greedy merchants.)
(However, corruption and bribes can get you so far.)
(Right now, everything is far more favorable to us. The entire kingdom is pretty much backing us up.)
"If we were to raise rebellion now, we would definitely succeed and overthrow Ash."
"Even he cannot do anything when the entire fucking kingdom is against him."
"But the problem are those bastards. Mowiorano kingdom."
"What do you think will happened the moment we take back the kingdom?"
"Hm?"
"The answer: War."
"These bastards will do whatever in their power to take us down, since they know we will want revenge for what they did."
"And currently? This kingdom will not survive another war."
"W-wait. So does that mean we cannot do revolution?!" – asked worried elderly beastman.
"Not exactly." – replied bear beastman.
"Forcefully taking by the kingdom with a rebel army will only result in our self-destruction."
"The only real and safest bet would be to take down all corrupted leaders that currently control the kingdoms."
"And that means assassination."
"But the castle is currently under heavy watch." – replied the elderly beastman.
"Soldiers, knights, patrols and everything."
"They are making sure that anything that Ash touches is also completely safe beforehand."
"They even made sure that any of the servants that were in the castle were either neutral or loyal to Noble faction…. Anybody that wasn't was straight up kicked out."
"I know." – replied Oranox.
"However, we have something that can straight up shatter his control over the kingdom."
"All thanks to the information's you just provided."
"So… Without further ado."
"Let set up the first stage."
[Meanwhile: Castle]
"Fuck! You still couldn't recruit enough adventures?!" – shouted King Ash at the Adventurer Guild Branch Master, Gregory Smith.
"Sir. We talked about this before." – replied the cat beastman.
"Recruiting adventures with how recently the last war occurred AND in what state the kingdom currently is, recruiting adventures will be not such easy task."
(What the hell happened? He suddenly had his men barge into the guild and dragged me to him.)
(Based on his expression something must had happened…. Is it by any chance related to that golem dungeon?)
"Then force them! I don't know! Just get me somebody strong!" – said the king.
"Your majesty. I can't and it isn't possible in first place." – replied branch leader.
"The only way to do it would be posting a quest in different kingdoms in order to bait and recruit adventures."
"…"
"But can we trust them?" – asked the king with annoyed expression.
(If one of the neighboring kingdoms finds out the true value of the golem dungeon, they may try something…. Ranging from annoying, to all the way to destruction of dungeon.)
"Well, first thing first." – said the branch leader.
"Is the matter that revolves about recruiting a new adventurers about that dungeon we had talked about before?"
"…"
"What about it?" – asked King Ash as he glared at the branch leader.
"Hear me out." – said branch leader.
"If you post a special quest and put up a special order, I can make so that the adventures that enters the dungeon will need to fallow specific form of rules."
"If they do not, then they could punished, ranging from the fine, to all the way to criminal charges that could even result in arrest."
"This could keep adventurers that you don't trust to be in control."
"And if they do act up, you can deal with them."
"…"
"How strict rules can be implemented?" – asked the king.
"The limit is very high, but remember, the strict you are, the less appealing the quest will become." – replied the branch leader.
"Not only that, you need to give a proper danger rank to the quest, including also the rewards."
"And how would it take until somebody takes the job?" – asked the king.
"…"
"It…. It would definitely take time." – replied branch manager.
"Spreading the quest, spreading the word, managing to catch people attention, dealing with some annoyance along the way."
"This process may range from single month at best, to even 3 in worst case scenario…. And… Well…."
"…"
"There is also obvious problem with the current state of the kingdom."
"Some people may because of that just…. Well…"
*Sigh*
"Yea, yea. You don't need to bloody tell me that, even I can tell." – replied the king while making annoyed expression.
"…"
(But is it worth the risk?)
(If some of these adventures are working for the kingdoms…. Then they could discover the secret of the golem dungeon.)
(However, at this point…. FUCK!)
"Spread the word!"
"I will officially post the quest in the name of Garmfon kingdom to deal with the dungeon."
(We need to take a risk if we want to deal with this problem.)
And like that, the official quest posted by the King Ash in the name of Garmfon kingdom had been officially been posted not only through whole kingdom, but also in the neighboring kingdoms.
//Extermination of the golem monsters that plagues the golem forest.//
//Exploration of the golem forest.//
//Extermination of the monsters inside of the dungeon.//
//Dungeon taming.//
[Danger rank: {C+}]
A quest that is focused on exterminating the monsters, all the way to taming the dungeon.
And the rewards?
Obviously, money.
But for the people that contributed the most?
The nobility status.
King Ash was so desperate to deal with the dungeon that he was even willing to grant the person or the party of adventurers the rank of the noble.
True.
Garmfon kingdom was still a mess…. But again, the rank of the noble isn't something you can easily ignore.
It took days for the news to spread and even more days for the people attention to gather…. But in the end, it was noticed.
Many adventurers, ranging from low to mid rank adventurers from all sort of kingdoms had spotted the quest and decided to take it on.
And like that, the new players had joined the fight.
The adventurer guild.
[Meanwhile: Dungeon]
"…."
(There…. This one should do it.) – thought Thauma as it finished up modifying 3 different monkey like golems, alongside the new version of the helmet like device, which not posed more eye like gems.
(Okay. Let's see if it works.) – thought Thauma as it put on its invention and activated it.
Upon activation, Thauma vision shifted into 3 perspectives.
(Move around.) – Thauma order its scout golems to move around separately, causing Thauma vision to change completely for each perspective.
(Move away from each other. Move close to each other. Run. Jump. Look at each other.) – Thauma continues giving different sorts to the golem trio, which was easily fallowed by all 3 puppets.
(Stop.)
(Good. This is truly perfect.)
(Not only I've finally managed to expand the range, but I've also managed to finally deal with the second main problem, units.)
(Now I no longer needs any additional helmets. All I need a single one.)
"…"
(And still no attacks came.)
(This is worrying at this point.)
(It is far too peaceful, there wasn't even some random monster being caught by my monsters…. Which is to prove that the enemy maybe still here.)
(Honestly, I was worried about being attacked at any point, that I've either spend my time training and improving my own powers, or just researching how to upgrade my vision range…..)
(But now?)
(Now I should be able to see what my enemies are doing.)
(Go my scout golems.)
(Find the enemy for me.)
(It is time to see what my enemies are up to.)
