A group of golems consist of claw, hammer and crossbow golems noticed the group of soldiers incoming, forcing the soldiers to quickly confront the group of monsters.

However, the monsters were to match for the soldiers as not only they were accompanied by the knights who knew how to handle themselves, but the golems themselves were easily outnumbered the soldiers, resulting in extremely quick victory.

"Huh…..That was….. Bit way too easy?" – said confused soldier.

"We all jumped at the D rank monsters, of fucking course it would be easy." – said human knight.

"Still, we should keep our guard up."

"There is good chance that they weren't exactly alone." – said beast-human knight.

"Be... What the hell are you doing?" – asked beast-human knight as he noticed the soldiers doing something to the golems remains.

"What? We need money." – replied soldier A.

"Since the Noble faction has betrayed us and the Royal faction is after us, shouldn't we try taking some valuable stuff and selling them later on?" – said soldier B.

"We didn't wanted to be part of this war. We just wanted to earn some money for our families….. Sir." – said the soldier C.

"They are not wrong." – said beast-human knight.

"We needs funds."

"If we act like bandits, we may end up leaving tracks."

"Fine!" – said beastman knight.

"But only take the parts that looks most valuable."

"We need to be ready to run at any moment, if we carry too much, it could end up slowing us down."

"You hear the man! Take them apart and take only most valuable stuff!" – said the soldier A as the soldier continues dismasting the golems.

"Eh?"

"What did you find?" – asked human knight as he approached one of the soldier.

"Don't know…. There was this weird thing inside of it… But it seems broken." – said the soldier C as he held a snapped in half stretched small plate with a 3 very small gems decorations.

"What the hell is this thing?" – said the human knight as took the weird object.

"I think its magic tool." – said beastman knight who approached the human knight.

"But it appears to be broken… Still, the gems here maybe like pebbles, but they could at least offer few coins."

"Keep it."

(The signal is appeared.) – thought Thauma as it stared at the machine like device made out of wood and iron that had weird fan like objects sticking out of it

"By the looks of things, we were worried for nothing." – said the beastman knight as he observed soldiers fighting and destroying the golems, including the standard model golem.

"Phew... Well, the big guy does take a bit to kill and he can somewhat hit hard as well." – said beast-human knight as he took out his halbert out of standard golem remains.

"?"

"Hey. Look!" – said the human soldier as he found another weird plate like object inside of standard golem.

"Eh? Let me see." – said the human knight as he quickly snatched the object and quickly compared it the one he had before.

"It is the same thing."

"And?" – asked beast-human knight.

"And, only this big guy and guy with claws had it." – said human knight.

"Other golems we had hunted didn't had anything like this."

"Why the hell only two monsters had these things inside?"

"Look."

"I'm not smart."

"Hell. I'm dumb."

"But even I can tell that something is off."

"!"

"What was that sound?" – said the beastman soldier as he heard something and instantly turned around towards the direction of the sound.

However, as soon as he turned around, he saw a new version of the golem hound leaping at him, tackling the man on the ground and instantly biting into his neck

"AAAAAA!" – the man screamed in agony, instantly catching attention of all the soldiers.

"!?"

"[Reckless Charge]!" – however, only one person acted, and that person being the beastman knight as he rushed at the beast golem, knocking it off the man.

"UGH!?"

"!?"

However, as the beastman knocked off the beast away, it ended up accidently ripping off part off the man neck, leaving a fatal wound on the man's neck.

"FUCK! HELP HIM! I WILL GET RID OF THIS FUCKER!" – shouted beastman knight as he got ready to fight the golem hound.

(But what is this thing anyway?!) – thought the beastman as he stared at the canine looking golem monster with small blades sticking from the sides of its arms and knife like blades being present where its claws should be.

(According to the reports, the dungeon only has humanoid type monsters alongside one inhuman type monster.)

(So why is there a beast type...Monster?) – the knight stared at the golem hound, before then noticing movement from behind the golem.

"…"

"Oh…. Shit." – said the beastman knight as he noticed a large number of beast golems rushing towards the soldiers.

"SHIT! EVERBODY! GET READY! THIS AIN'T SMALL GROUP OF MONSTER!" – shouted the beast-human knight as all the soldiers got ready to fight.

The group of hound golems ran towards the soldiers and began leaping at them recklessly, knocking the soldiers down with their weight and starting to rip them apart.

"FUCK! WHAT ARE YOU IDIOTS WAITING FOR! HIT THEM!" – shouted the beastman knight as he struck one of the golems with his halbert, damaging the creature body but not destroying it.

"!?"

(The hell?!) – thought the surprised beastman as he realized that the creatures defense is noticeable higher than other golems from before.

"{Halbert Art: Wreck}!" – the beastman used his art attack, hitting and denting monster body, while also knocking the creature away.

"CAREFUL! THESE THINGS ARE DIFFERENT THAN MONSTERS FROM BEFORE!" – shouted the beastman knight as the quickly rolled over, dodging the hound golem ponce, before then striking down the golem in the side, destroying it.

"!"

"BEHIND YOU!" – shouted the beastman knight, warning the human knight, but not in time as he was quickly ganged up by the 3 hound golems.

"HELP HIM!" – shouted the beastman knight to the trio of soldiers that quickly fallowed the beastman knight and attacked the hounds, quickly saving the human knight.

"F-fuck! Thanks!" – said the human knight as the beastman knight helped him stand up.

"DON'T FALTER AND DON'T SPLIT!" – shouted beastman knight.

"THEY WILL TRY TO PICK YOU OFF IF YOU ARE ALONE! STAND TOGETHER! WE OUTNUMBER THEM!"

The sudden attack by the hound golems had completely caught off guard the soldiers, resulting in the army suffering their very first casualties as some of the unlucky soldiers that were attacked first by the golems were either brutally killed or left off by some of the golems attacks with fatal wounds.

"Stop panicking you idiots!" - shouted the beast-human knight as he finished off a hound golem.

"We are winning this already! Just play it safe and attack all at once!"

But even if the new golems were not only powerful, faster and durable, it wasn't enough to deal with the number advantage that the soldiers were having.

Thanks to the leader of the army command, the soldiers somewhat managed to get themselves together and start fighting efficiently against the golems.

But there was a problem.

"H-help!"

"!"

The beastman knight turned around and saw one of the soldiers being lifted in the air by the blade, before then getting thrown away by the knight golem.

"!?"

"The hell are those!?" – said confused soldier as he and other soldiers nearby spotted several soldier golems alongside golem knights coming from the rear.

"BOSS! THE ENEMIES!" – shouted the beastman soldier, alarming the beastman knight as he turned around, spotting the brand new golems.

These hounds golems were not alone.

No.

They were never meant to take on the enemies by their own.

They were only meant to locate the enemy and buy the time for the other golems to arrive.

And now? The real fights starts.
