"So, did you start playing the game?"
Eating a cut piece of melon, I asked Ciana Grace, as she sat opposite me, still gawking as if she were looking at a celebrity.
"Are you really Ezekiel? That Ezekiel?!" She asked for the fourth time since I arrived at her apartment.
After a complete sleep, I woke up at 10 in the morning. And because it was a public holiday, the schools and colleges were closed today. I had already informed Ciana of my visit today, along with the reason I had arrived here.
Which were simple. That is to find out how she was faring in Arcadia, and also about Evan Castro and Damian White, who were going to be part of the guild that she was about to create in the game by the end of this month.
Though I still have to reach that part… I sighed as I answered her,
"Yes. I am. Now, can you answer my question?"
"Ah! Yes. Yes, I did. But…" She spoke before hesitating slightly and then continuing,
"There were a few people. Players who were blocking the main hunting grounds. They said that it was their hunting area, and the only way we could hunt in that place was by joining their guilds. Though most, if not all, decided to find another hunting area, a bit farther away from the starter town. I am thinking of doing the same."
"Don't worry too much about them. Do what you can, and ignore the rest. Though if they start bothering you personally, you can always complain to the guards. People may have been underestimating the game's realism, so they might not know, but if you complain to the guards about something like this, even if it's outside the town, they will definitely take action," I said before taking another piece of melon and then continuing,
"The safety that the starter town provides isn't just limited to [Safe Zone] or the borders of the town. With one right action, you can even have all the guards mobilize for your protection. Try it if you are curious. It would be pretty fun."
That and about the woman card. The Guards, if they are males, would surely move one step ahead if Ciana were to ask for help than if it were a guy. I pondered with an amused expression, wondering what kind of scenario Ciana would unfold in the game if she were to follow my commands.
"We can do that?!" Ciana was surprised, to which I nodded.
"Though, rather than just that, there was something else I came here for. First, I also met Evan Castro and Damian White. The guild that you would be creating at the end of this month would require at least 5 members. So they, along with two more people that I would be sending, would help you create it. Make sure you meet with them when I tell you to. Keep your end-of-the-month schedule free," I added with a serious tone, to which she nodded before asking,
"All right. So level up quietly in the game. If troubled, then ask he guards to help. Lastly, get along with a few strangers to create a guild. Is there anything else?"
"Yeah. In Liberty Village, beside the Flower Shop, there would be a rundown Blacksmith shop. Go there and clean the entire thing before buying a few flowers and placing them in the nearby empty vases. This should unlock a rare quest for you, which is fairly easy and fun to do. If possible, try to keep the whole thing as clean as possible, making it look brand-new," I said to her in a pondering manner as I recalled the whole quest.
It was a one-time quest that one of my acquaintances from the first guild did. Said it was one of the best decisions he made at that time, and probably the calmest and nicest memory he had of the starter town.
"Also, if you have any trouble regarding hunting or gathering, try following Blaze's videos. I have explained a lot of things there that should help you out. And if you have anything you really don't understand even after the videos, just give me a message in-game." As I finished my words, I saw her eyes getting a little teary before she nodded and then poured the tea into my cup.
"All right. I will do that," she spoke before changing the topic to her mundane life.
She told me how she started helping out the teachers with their tasks, and how she was also going to get an extra grade for that. Plus, getting close to the teachers somehow made her life easier and more fun in school, as even the students had started looking at her in a different light.
Her connection within the school was growing as she now knew many seniors, interacted with her juniors, and was getting quite the queen treatment from them. Apart from that, since the rent was paid, the landlady also talked with her cheerfully, sometimes asking her to come for dinner, which she denied at first but later accepted.
Somehow, all things that usually freaked her out now turned to something she enjoyed.
"Thank you," she politely said once again as she looked at me, the reason behind all the changes that had happened in her life.
"The tea was good," I smiled before saying goodbye and then soon returning to my apartment, as my work was done here.
Back at the apartment, I found a few people standing outside the gate with electronics in their hands.
A little less than last time. I thought as I called them inside before asking about the problems they were facing.
The rest of the afternoon went slowly as I fixed their laptops, mobiles, and a few other gadgets. Plus, I received a few requests regarding the websites, this time a total of three, all from the recommendation of the first guy whom I helped out before.
By the end of the day, I had gained about 2000$, a pretty neat sum to earn in a single day. About $1500 was from the website, while the others came from the electronics.
Once I start making an average of $5000 to 10000$ per week from the website alone, I will stop doing the electronics work. I decided and then placed the money in the kitchen before going for a quick shower.

"Welcome home, Mom," I said, but then paused my smile as I looked at the sad expression on her face.
