MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary TimeKeeper

Chapter 120: Trisha's Dilemma

If Trisha were to explain how she felt about Ezekiel, then…

Calculative.

Would be the most appropriate word she could find.

From the beginning, the day she first watched him on stream, she has been watching him. Trying to understand what kind of person he is, and the mystery behind all the knowledge and secrets he possesses.

Is he really an AI? She asked herself once again.

It was a conclusion driven by the fact that he knew way more than what an average player should know. The idea of him being an Artificial Intelligence seemed genuine when he rejected the money and only asked for in-game rewards instead.

Though when he agreed to meet them in the real world, this more or less shattered her belief. However, it was still unconfirmed whether he would meet them or not.

Or perhaps he has a connection with a developer or a GM? She changed her view later on, but honestly, it was hard to believe that, too. This game was something that even the richest of the nobles couldn't get any advantage from. From what she had heard from her father, even the host of that masquerade party, who was a pretty high-end family, was trying their best to know about the game.

This meant that at least it wasn't something one could buy with money.

Maybe he is a GM or developer himself? This was the third conclusion she reached.

Though being a Game Master would honestly destroy the game, as nobody wanted a cheating player to hog all the rewards for themselves just to have fun. Though, from another point of view, why would a Game Master even require getting the rewards? Can he just create them?

Perhaps a developer who had knowledge about certain areas?

It would make sense given his knowledge regarding the game's secret language and many other things. That was the closest guess she had of Ezekiel, too. But then there was another problem with this line of thinking.

He is way too skilled.

Being a developer in this game meant that you had given almost all your life to build up a huge load of content. It would be almost impossible for anyone to be a developer and have time for anything else, let alone being so skilled in fighting.

He knows Judo, Muay Thai, Karate and Aikido. His skills in single and dual sword-wielding are nothing to scoff at. And lastly, even his communication skills and ways of talking to people are beyond what those social manipulators do. She sighed as she pondered the things she had collected about Ezekiel after travelling for the past few days.

So once again, looking at this almost superhuman guy in front of her, she could not help but question it.

Is he really an AI?

"Tristan?" Ezekiel called her out once again, snapping her out of her thoughts. Following the direction where his fingers were pointing, she looked at the grassy open area in the garden. It was the same area that Blaze had trimmed neatly before. The same area which G helped him level the edges.

Even though she had questions about what he was and what he was trying to do now, she silently followed his command and walked there with a curious expression.

"Is this fine?" She asked out loud, making Ezekiel nod before he turned to G and said," Now, G. Shoot her in the head with your most powerful shot. The more powerful, the better."

At this moment, G had a very serious expression on his face. If he were to be asked to kill himself, perhaps he could have done it with ease. At least, much more easily than Blaze failed to do.

But this…

This was different.

To kill someone whom he swore his life to protect was something that went against his morals. He thought of rejecting Ezekiel's words. No, he decided that he would reject it even if he were to be kicked out of the party.

"G. What are you doing?"

However, before he could do so, Trisha asked him. She looked at him with a confused expression, wondering why she was hesitating.

"But Miss-"

"G. This is a game. Here, killing is also a part of the strategy to win. Don't dwell on foolish thoughts," she spoke in a stern voice, her face showing a mature charm much different from the previous nonchalant, curious one that she showed before.

"I-"

"G. I command you. Shoot me in the head with your most powerful spell," and then she added with a serious tone, as if looking down at a servant. To which, a shiver ran down his spine before he gulped.

"Yes, ma'am," he forced those words out of his mouth before giving a silent glare at Ezekiel, who put him in this condition.

Taking out his bow and filling it with one of the silver arrows he was saving up, he then enchanted it with his most powerful explosion enchantment.

"Please forgive me," he spoke in a low, barely audible voice.

-Whoosh!!!

-BOOOOOM!!!!!!

The arrow left the bow, reached Trisha before creating a massive explosion. The black dust soon turned gray before getting rapidly purified as the entire garden seemed to absorb it at an insane speed.

"WOW!!!"

Soon came the voice of the girl who should have been dead.

Vines surrounded the girl from all sides, protecting her from damage as she stood there, momentarily in a daze. She looked at the vines, speaking something in a strange language as that knight said, before slowly tying herself around her arms, waist and legs.

The vines showed up bright before slowly getting absorbed into Trisha's skin, and then forming a greenish pattern all around her body, having her eyes open up wide as she could not believe what just happened.

"Miss? Are you okay?" G ran towards her at insane speed to check if she was fine, but Trisha could not answer. All she saw right now was the treasure she just received and the description and effects that were presented to her on a screen in front of her.
