HELP! These Girls Wants To Kill Me

Chapter 153: 153

[Sign In successful. Congratulations on getting Tempest Call(Purple)]

[Tempest Call (Purple)]: Grants control over the tempest. Can expend mental energy, internal energy, or both to manifest overwhelming wind-based destruction.

In an instant, Yang Ze felt like he had an innate skill. Unlike the previous talents, this felt more like an active skill that he could use to summon a cyclone. As for how destructive it would be... it depends entirely on his internal and mental energy.

"FINALLY." Looking at the description, Yang Ze's heart almost jumped out of his chest in excitement.

Even though he had a variety of talents, he didn't have a single talent that gave him direct attack power.

There was the Illusion Master to confuse his opponents, then there was the Sevenfold illusion, which was an auxiliary talent. And finally, there was the Inverted Wail that lets him disturb the opponent's internal energy circulation.

But none of his talents could actually harm anyone.

That is... until now.

Suppressing the urge to use his newly gained talent, Yang Ze merely kept on running. He wanted to see just how long this demonic wolf could keep up with him.

Unsurprisingly, after chasing him for half an hour, the demonic wolf finally gave up with an unwilling roar.

"Heh." Yang Ze merely let out a mocking laugh, but he didn't stop. He merely thought about Lin Meilin before shaking his head.

His actions of leaving her were outrageous, and she surely wouldn't be happy about it. Perhaps the little bit of goodwill that he had garnered with her disappeared with this small act of his. But if given another chance, he would do the same thing.

The only thing he knew about her was that she was dangerously unpredictable. She seemed to have her own plans. First the Duality Sect, then the Blue faced tribe... She was definitely planning something, and whatever it was, Yang Ze had no interest in taking part in it. He was afraid that he would become one of the unwilling participants or worse... a pawn for her.

It was better to directly cut off contact with her than to wait for something to happen.

"A pity I can't get her talents." The current Lin Meilin seemed to be different from when he saw her the first two times.

Other than her name, everything else was '?????'; otherwise, he would have definitely stayed with her to get her talents, even if it meant taking part in her plans.

Shaking his head with regret, he didn't stop but kept on running at the same pace.

Unbeknownst to him, just above him in the air, the figure of Lin Meilin was quietly floating with a leisurely expression.

"Run... Run... let me see how long you can run, you little bastard." Thinking about how he threw her to the wolf and took off in the opposite direction, Lin Meilin grit her teeth in anger as she quietly followed him. She wanted to see just how far and how long he could run.

But with every passing minute, her leisure expression turned from carefree to a frown to serious before her face was full of shock.

This little bastard had been running non-stop for five hours by now. And yet, there wasn't a hint of exhaustion on his face.

Forget about exhaustion or panting... There wasn't a single drop of sweat on him. His face still had that carefree expression as he would admire his surroundings for a while, take out his map and then occasionally change direction towards the Tianxu trading zone.

"Not good." Although Lin Meilin didn't know how he was doing it, she knew one thing for sure.. If he kept on running like this, he would reach the Tianxu trading zone in the next few hours.

Narrowing her eyes, she straightened her body before her figure disappeared from the air.

Yang Ze was completely unaware of the fact that Lin Meilin had been observing him from the very beginning.

"Guess I have to find Feathergrass by myself." Yang Ze didn't believe that he wouldn't be able to find the feathergrass in the Tianxu Trading Zone by himself.

As for the locations required for the Spiritwing evolution, there were definitely people besides Lin Meilin who knew about it.

With that in mind, he didn't stop but increased his speed a bit.

For the next twenty or so minutes, he kept on running at a leisurely pace.

It wasn't until ten more minutes passed that he saw the large patches of grass in front of him parting ways, as if something was making its way towards him.

"What the..." Yang Ze didn't even have time to react when he felt a fishy smell before a large snake appeared in his sight.

"Fuck." Looking at the snake that was almost twenty meters long and three meters wide, Yang Ze's eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

This was the first time in both his lives that he saw something as massive as the snake in front of him.

Standing in front of it, he looked like a mouse standing in front of a nine-foot-tall human.

Without wasting another second, he used his Shadow Step as his figure blurred before appearing directly above the snake.

Yang Ze quietly glanced at the panel of the snake before drawing in a cool breath.

[Name: Demonic Serpent King]

[Age: 130]

[Realm: 4th Grade Demonic Beast]

[Talent: Heat Vision(White), Giant(White), Poison(White), Drifting(Green)]

Looking at the bunch of talents in front of him, about which he had no idea, Yang Ze didn't dare to engage with the Serpent in close combat. Hell, he didn't even engage with it.

He merely cast a glance towards the giant snake before skillfully dodging its tail that smashed the ground into dust.

"See ya." Without wasting another moment, Yang Ze simply used his Shadow step before disappearing completely from there.

The Serpent kind didn't give up. Instead, it simply raised its blue head and the shiny reflective metal-like body before flicking its tongue in the air and slithering towards the direction where Yang Ze ran off to.

In less than five minutes, it had already found Yang Ze, who was still running away.

"What the hell?" Looking at the giant serpent that was rapidly making its way towards him, Yang Ze's scalp tingled in fright.

"What a shitty luck." First it was the wolf, then it was this damned snake. God knows what kind of thing would appear next.

Just when Yang Ze was cursing in his heart, the ground in front of him trembled as a massive boar that was the size of a two-storey building appeared in front of him.

"...." Yang Ze's mind almost went blank as he looked at the raging bull rushing towards him.

"EEEEEEEEEEEE...."

And just when he was thinking about how to take care of these two, an ear-splitting screech took him by surprise.

Raising his head in disbelief, he saw a giant bird that looked like a crow, except it was almost five meters in length and ten meters in diameter.

"Wha... what the hell?" For a while, Yang Ze couldn't help but think whether he was hallucinating or not. Otherwise, how could one explain such a ridiculous scene?

Not only were there two behemoths on the ground interested in him, but there was also a bird in the sky, eyeing him.

Yang Ze pinched his thigh, wondering if he was dreaming or not. But feeling the pain, he gritted his teeth.

"Do I really need to?" There was no way out of this. Just the speed of the snake wasn't something he could contend against, not to mention a flying bird that could sweep him anytime.

Gritting his teeth, he simply raised his hands as a pair of gloves appeared on them. Without wasting another moment, he simply bent his knees and got into the position. Since there was no way out, he was gonna carve one himself.

Because his clones were destroyed earlier, they were still on a cooldown period. This left him with only a handful of options.

He wanted to use his newly gained talent to test its might, but stopped himself at the last moment. Tempest Call was his trump card, and he wanted to use it as a last resort to take out the danger, not as an opening move. It would be best if he could take these demonic beasts by surprise, finishing them all in one go. Even though he knew it was wishful thinking, it didn't prevent him from making a plan.

"Let's see what else you're hiding." Lin Meilin, who was flying in the air, completely invisible to Yang Ze and the flying bird, simply tilted her head with an amused face. Because of the fact that this little bastard could run for hours without getting tired, she chose three beasts who matched his stamina with speed.

Now, even if he wanted to escape, any of the three beasts could catch up with him in a few minutes. This left him with the only option of fighting back.

"Heh." Resting her chin on the back of her hand, Lin Meilin looked with great interest as Yang Ze got into the position of fighting before rushing towards the serpent.

"Interesting choice." Although the serpent might look easy to handle among the three beasts, it was in fact the most difficult one to handle. Something that Yang Ze would soon come to understand.

Just as Lin Meilin predicted, Yang Ze's figure appeared above the snake as he punched down with his hands covered in a thick layer of black fog.

*Thud

There were no explosions or earth-shattering noises. The only sound that echoed was the sound of Yang Ze's fists hitting what felt like metal.

"You have got to be kidding me." Looking at the unharmed serpent beneath him, whose flawless metal-like scales were intact without any damage, Yang Ze's jaw almost dropped to the floor.

Even though both he and the Serpent were in the Vein Expansion realm, his full strength attack did not even leave a mark on it... Yaqng Ze couldn't help but draw in a cold breath.

"Not good." The moment his attack failed to leave any mark on the snake, he heard the sound of whistling and narrowly managed to dodge the tail attack that tore through the air.

Landing on the ground a few meters away from the snake, Yang Ze's heart was beating like a drum. He was thinking of ways to harm the snake, but before he could even think further, the ground beneath him trembled as a spike that was almost a meter long suddenly thrust from the ground underneath him.

He didn't even have time to dodge or defend. He could only take a step back, narrowly avoiding the spike that tore through his robe and upper clothes like a hot knife through butter.

"Haaa..." Looking at the spike that was completely made out of sharp rocks, Yang Ze drew in cold breath as he saw from the corner of his eyes that the massive boar simply raised its hoofs and struck the ground once more.

Feeling the ground tremble once again, this time, Yang Ze managed to successfully dodge the attack, only to find himself in the air where the large bird was already waiting for him.

Feeling the sharp talons in front of him, about to take off his head, Yang Ze couldn't waste another second. With nowhere to hide, nowhere to run and no way to defend himself, he could only open his mouth before letting out a screech.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

An almost inhumane-like screech filled the grassland, and the massive bird whose talons were inches away from Yang Ze's face suddenly froze before losing control of its body and falling down.

How could Yang Ze give up such a heaven-sent opportunity? Looking at the falling bird, he followed suit, just appearing above it, grabbing its neck and trying to twist it mid-air. But even with his current strength, it was an impossible task.

In the end, he simply put his elbow on the bird's head, positioned it directly above its eyes and then...

"BOOOOOOOOOM"

With an earth-shattering roar, dust flew as the figure of the massive bird fell onto the ground, as it struggled for a while before going still.

The only thing that was visible was the small pool of blood that was slowly beginning to form underneath its massive body.

And from the dust, one could see the blurry figure of a young boy who was still panting heavily on top of the bird with a broken, sharp bone that was protruding out of his elbow, carrying chunks of flesh and blood. Both his and the bird's...
