"You… never… here…"

The ghostly voice came from the side, sounding like bones crackling together.

"What did it say?" The NCEG voice echoed in Everlearn's ear.

"It said, you never here."

"Hostility detected. Prepare to run!"

The voice said, but Everlearn didn't turn his back.

He had a feeling: the second he turned his back would be the second he died.

"Run, Everlearn. You're an explorer here, not a combatant. Run!"

"It's… it's too late."

The second Everlearn finished those words, he hadn't even blinked before finding the hulking body right before him, less than a meter away.

"Wh… so fast!?" he screamed in his head.

BOOOOOOM!

Taking a single step backward, Everlearn's spine crackled, shooting him to the ground as the air above him was blasted apart by bony claws.

One leg held his pose; his second leg smashed into the ground with all his power, sending him shooting to the side just as the bone titan's massive leg slammed where he stood, blasting open a meter-deep crater.

The bone titan slowly turned its head, yet right before its sight, it found Everlearn racing forward like a blur of light.

Its bony claws slammed into the ground as he closed to within a meter of it, but Everlearn vanished.

Reappearing in the air at the bone titan's eye level, his hands remained outstretched toward its face, both covered in the Nano Photon Blaster.

"GO TO HELL!"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A massive pillar of destructive energy burst from his palms, slamming into the creature's skull.

The titan didn't dodge.

Its other claw swung, slicing through the air and colliding with Everlearn's side.

BAAAAAAANG!

A circular shockwave exploded forth as Everlearn was blown roughly away, tumbling across the ground for twenty meters before he rolled through the air and dragged himself to a stop.

WHIIIIISTLE…

All he heard was the sound of whistling, and he turned forward in time to find the hulking bone titan charging toward him.

Its robes had been blasted apart by Everlearn's last attack, now revealing its true features.

It held no skin, only bone.

Yet for a solid second, an image appeared in Everlearn's head: the image of a being with flaying crimson hair holding a demonic grin on its face as it rushed forward.

VROOOOOOM!

The air was torn apart as bone claws slammed out.

Everlearn jumped, weaving through the gaps between the claws before rushing forward, kicking toward its face.

Its bony mouth opened up, clamping hard on Everlearn's feet, and in the next moment, it raised its head, lifting him high before jerking it down.

BAAAANG!

"Gasp,"

A gasp of pain left Everlearn's lips from the horrifying that made his eyes spin wildly in their sockets.

His entire body was smashed against the golden ground, and for the next few seconds after.

"Everlearn, are you..."

BAAAANG!

"Hey, can you hear..."

BAAAANG!

"Say something."

The sound of endless destruction rang out as Everlearn was continually smashed into the ground.

He was thrown upward after the bone titan was satisfied with the smacking, and it jumped up after Everlearn swung its leg towards him.

A circular shockwave exploded forth, as he was roughly blown into the distance.

BOOOOOOM!

BOOOOOOM!

Explosions constantly raged through the ground as his body ricocheted off the ground, before smashing into the rocky silhouette of a stone formation.

He was buried deep within, silence descending after.

"You…"

CLAAAANK!

The sound of bones clanking resounded as the bony titan slowly walked forward toward the path where Everlearn had been sent flying, speaking in a rattling tone.

"Muss…"

CLAAAANK!

CLAAAANK!

"DIEEEEE!"

The sound of something stirring within the rock echoed out, and a hand soon dragged itself out of the depths, revealing a crouched figure.

It was none other than Everlearn, blood covering his forehead, with a thin line of it running straight down from the top across his nose.

"Everlearn! Everlearn Snowfall! Are you okay? Can you hear me!?"

The voice rang ceaselessly in his ear, and in the next moment, he gave an order.

'Hey, system?'

║Yes.║

'Sever connection temporarily.'

'Ever… Everl..ea… r…n…'

In the next moment, silence reigned in his head, and the panel flashed.

║Connection temporarily severed.║

║Host actions are no longer under monitoring.║

The system panel flashed, and Everlearn hummed.

One moment, he seemed to be on his last legs; in the next, he stood upright, cracking his back and hands.

"The combat suit really is tough, huh?" Everlearn mused, looking down at it.

He had been slammed around like a sack, yet there wasn't a single tear on the combat suit he wore.

The sound of whistling echoed again, this time over the bone titan racing forward toward him with both bone claws sliding across the ground.

In response, Everlearn's hands moved into his coat, pulling out a couple of objects.

They were not cubes, instead balls, which he crushed within both palms.

What formed wasn't just a simple blaster wrapping around his wrists.

It was a full-on nano gauntlet reaching up to his elbow, blazing with energy.

His gauntleted fists tapped together as he ordered,

"Activate combat mode!"

WHIIIRR!

WHIIIRR!

Immediately, light began shining from his combat suit, accompanied by the mechanical whirring of nanobots.

VROOOOOOOOOM!

The air split in the next moment as the bone titan slashed both its claws toward Everlearn, who leaned slightly forward.

BOOOOM!

The ground shook as a nozzle appeared beneath Everlearn's feet, bursting forth energy that flung him forward at high speed.

CLAAAAAAAANK!

The heavy sound of clashing echoed out as the bone titan's claws smashed into each other.

Standing just a few inches from its face was none other than Everlearn, who calmly extended his gauntleted hand and clasped it against the titan's skull.

BOOOOM!

The nozzle beneath his feet shot forth with energy once, and he burst forward, dragging the bone titan's hulking body along with him.

He spun wildly in the next moment before his hands shot upward, throwing the bone titan fifty meters into the air.

It thrashed violently in the air as Everlearn aimed both gauntlets toward it, destructive energy swirling within his gauntleted palms.

"Maximum Destruct Protocol: Absolute Erasure!"
