I Become the Strongest with Infinite Skills Level

Chapter 212: The Benefit of Marriage

The benefit of marriage between two players was the shared inventory feature and also the shared condominium.

The items stored in their inventories were now moved into the shared inventory, where Ethan and Ashley could access and use everything inside it, even if the items originally weren't theirs.

However, the shared condominium worked differently. If both of them already owned their own condos, merging them would require a joint decision from the two of them, whether they would use the man's condominium or the woman's.

Once it was confirmed, all furniture could be sent directly to the chosen condo. With that, both of them could get the condominium they wanted.

They hugged each other tightly and warmly, feeling so comfortable leaning together like that.

Their individual systems had detected that they were officially married, and several distinctive signs appeared in their status.

The title shown in Ethan's profile status, right above his head, now had an additional title that displayed his partner's name.

In total, four titles were displayed above Ethan: his username, PK status, guild logo and abbreviation, and his partner's name.

Ethan could actually show more titles like his level or other general titles, but he chose to hide them because he didn't want to attract attention.

Ethan also noticed four titles displayed above Ashley's head. The only difference from his was that Ashley's PK status was replaced with her individual level since she wasn't being punished by the system.

"I can't wait to show this status to everyone," Ashley said.

The man in front of her smiled in agreement. It was rare for people to use the marriage feature in the game, and Ethan didn't see many married couples in the game.

Besides the fact that there were fewer women, not many of them had reached level 75. The marriage feature is only unlocked for players above that level.

With Ethan's status as her husband, no one could take Ashley away from him. People would see who Ashley was married to, and even if they tried to snatch Ashley from Ethan, he would be notified if Ashley reported it to him.

That feature made the chance of cheating very small. Players could immediately tell if someone was single or not from the status floating above their heads.

Ethan calmed Ashley again. He explained that the shared inventory feature should already be unlocked, so Ethan and Ashley could use the items inside right away.

Ashley agreed, feeling happy because Ethan cared and paid attention to her. She believed Ethan could help make the situation in LionArk much better than before.

The corruption case and the conflict with Arkban were problems Ashley couldn't solve. But with Ethan here, she was sure he could handle those issues well.

After preparing themselves, Ethan and Ashley stepped out of their room. Ethan glanced sharply and noticed many LionArk members coming up to the third floor, wanting to see the real EthanAsh666.

"They already know. The username EthanAsh666 has been a legend for a long time."

Jill stepped out of Ashley's office, turning and welcoming Ashley and Ethan as they came out of the room.

The woman narrowed her eyes and clearly saw the wife and husband status floating above their titles. Ashley had the husband status with the username EthanArk, and Ethan had hers.

That alone was more than enough to prove they were married, right after what happened earlier.

Jill didn't know what they talked about, but she was sure it was an important and serious conversation.

"Looks like you two used the marriage feature well," Jill joked.

"You have sharp eyes, Jill," Ashley said.

"The news about EthanAsh666 is already blowing up. Now you and Ethan are officially married. Are you planning to break the internet?" Jill asked.

"I'm not that popular," Ethan replied.

"No. But to them, you are."

Jill pointed toward the stairs. Ethan and Ashley turned and once again saw many LionArk members staring with curiosity.

Ethan already expected their reaction to be huge and dramatic like that. It seemed the game administrators had marked the username EthanAsh666 as a legend as a tribute to Ethan Arkwright, who had died.

That information must have been spread on their social media, making many people more familiar with EthanAsh666 than their own in-game teammates.

Not only that, the fact that the real EthanAsh666 had actually died became unavoidable.

It became one of the biggest mysteries people didn't know about, whether Ethan had been used in some scientist's experiment or something else.

From Ethan's office area, Sherly walked in and looked closely at Ethan. She gasped when she saw his title status. The man was already married to Ashley.

Her heart hurt, but she never expected anything from Ethan anyway. Ethan was a person recorded as a game legend. Many people knew and admired him.

Someone like Ethan was clearly a perfect match for a great woman admired by many men like Ashley. The two of them were a fitting pair because of their status and popularity.

"How did Twin Sun respond when I asked to postpone the meeting?" Ethan asked.

"They understood, Sir Ethan," Sherly replied, bowing her head.

"Alright."

"Bring me the files I need to review. I'll start working," Ethan said.

"O-Of course. I'll bring them to you."

Sherly went down to the first floor to fetch more documents for Ethan, while Ashley and Jill went back into Ashley's office to continue their work, which had been interrupted by Gordon's unexpected arrival.

They worked until sunset. Ethan had fewer tasks than Ashley, but strangely, Ashley still finished her work faster.

Now Ashley and Jill were in Ethan's office, where Ethan was busy reviewing the permit documents for using public facilities in the western district's third ring.

Sherly had already gone back down to the first floor after delivering those files. Ethan had told her to rest, and she could bring the remaining documents to his office tomorrow morning.

"Hey, how does it feel now that you two are married?" Jill asked, curious.

"You want to know? I can do this," Ashley replied.

The woman took a stock of wine bottles from the shared inventory, wine that used to belong to Ethan. But since they were married, the wine was now theirs together.

Jill gasped in surprise. She knew how the shared inventory feature worked, but this was her first time seeing it used right in front of her.

"What about the condominium?" Jill asked.

"About that…"

Ashley glanced at Ethan, who was too focused on his work to answer Jill's question. So Ashley answered for him.

"I haven't thought about it yet, and I'm sure Ethan hasn't either. We'll deal with that later."

"For now, we just want to focus on defining our relationship. Hopefully we can inspire you all to find your partners soon," Ashley said.

Jill cleared her throat, sighed, and sat with her chin in her hands. She still wasn't sure about her own feelings. Leon's attitude felt uncertain to her.

"I don't know. I don't think I should expect anything from Leon," Jill complained.

"Psst!"

Jill and Ashley turned toward Ethan, clearly seeing him smile and chuckle. They knew Leon was Ethan's friend.

"What is it?" Jill asked.

"Nothing. It's nothing."
