I Become the Strongest with Infinite Skills Level

Chapter 219: Party Permission

A worried expression clearly appeared on Ashley's face when she heard Ethan's wish to go to Silver Tower City.

It was very dangerous for Ethan to go there, since Silver Tower City was far from Mavelard and controlled by Silver Star.

Ethan might be strong and able to defeat them, but that still didn't erase the danger that could threaten his life. Ashley couldn't do much except ask Ethan not to go.

The man listened to what Ashley said. His mind cleared again. He always thought he could fight them, but in reality, it would be difficult.

Mavelard had indeed been controlled by Silver Star before, but only their officers were in the city. Ethan suspected the high-level members lived in Silver Tower City.

Without meaningful preparation, both physically and with support teams, Ethan would be taking a huge risk just to retrieve LionArk's stolen assets. It wasn't worth it at all according to Ashley.

Ethan nodded in agreement. There was a small feeling of disappointment in his heart when Ashley rejected his idea, but he understood her worries more than anything.

The reasons Ashley gave were also logical. She didn't want Mavelard to lose its protector, especially since Mavelard had only been taken over by LionArk a few months ago.

Even though the city's economy was already fully stable, its security was far from enough. Ethan had to stay in the city until Mavelard became truly safe.

When that time came, then Ethan and Ashley could start talking about LionArk's assets in the other guilds, especially Silver Star and Scavenger.

"For now, we'll focus on improving the city's economy and security. When the city feels stable enough, we can start talking about the corruptors in Silver Star and Scavenger."

Ethan cleared his throat. He also explained that he didn't want to force Ashley to obey what he wanted.

The two of them were officially husband and wife now, and they needed trust and respect to understand each other.

"Alright. I understand," Ethan said.

"Thank you for understanding, Ethan," Ashley replied.

Ethan turned and opened the door to Ashley's office. There, he saw Jill waiting while leaning against the third-floor hallway wall.

The man called Jill over, saying that he and Ashley had finished talking. Jill turned and smiled, agreeing with what Ethan said.

Without waiting for Jill, Ashley immediately asked her to continue her work. Ethan, on the other hand, went back to his office to finish the work he had put on hold.

The door opened, and Ethan saw Sherly again sitting on the long sofa. When Ethan came in, Sherly stood up straight and greeted him.

"How was it?" Sherly asked.

"Ashley rejected my proposal," Ethan answered.

"Really? A proposal about what?"

Ethan turned and looked at Sherly's face. Slowly, he began explaining his plan to go to Silver Tower City. Sherly listened closely.

She understood why Ashley rejected Ethan's idea. Besides the fact that Silver Tower City was dangerous for him, the situation in Mavelard was still not fully stable.

Conflicts between guilds still happened, and crimes still occurred. The Security Team was overwhelmed dealing with them, though the number of crimes had decreased compared to before.

Ethan's destruction of the Heaven Palace Guild was one reason. They were afraid Ethan would do the same to their guild. That was why the crime rate dropped drastically while Ethan remained in the city.

Sherly could clearly imagine what would happen to the city's security if Ethan left. Chaos would happen, crimes would rise, and Ashley would be overwhelmed.

"Either way, I agree with Miss Ashley. Mavelard isn't in a stable enough condition to be left," Sherly said.

"I know. It was just a wild thought that came to my mind the moment I heard about LionArk's assets," Ethan replied.

"I'll stay in the city until it's truly safe. When that happens, I might plan again to take back the assets from Silver Star."

"That's the best choice, Sir Ethan."

Ethan continued working on the pile of files on his desk. Sherly stayed there to help him. They worked from noon until night, and Ethan finally finished everything. Now he had some free time in the evening.

"Sir Ethan," Sherly called.

"What is it, Sherly?" Ethan asked while relaxing in his chair, leaning back to rest.

"This is about… my abilities," Sherly said.

Ethan's attention shifted toward her. Sherly stood in front of his desk, her eyes fixed on him carefully.

"What about your abilities?" Ethan asked.

"I've unlocked a skill slot and learned a new skill. Now I have four skill slots."

"Not only that, I also got a good soul servant. I want to test it," Sherly said.

"So, you want me to go with you to the Tower?"

"No," Sherly said.

"I think… ordinary training is enough. Maybe you can give me some advice for my abilities," she added.

Ethan smiled. He knew Sherly was a warrior, but she hadn't done her Class Advancement. It would be much more interesting once she improved her abilities after choosing her Class Advancement.

"What level are you now?" Ethan asked.

"Around 58, Sir Ethan."

The man nodded. He stood up and stepped toward Sherly. His current individual level was 87. To have an ideal assistant he could rely on for administrative work or combat, Sherly's minimum needed level was 65.

"It would be much better for your abilities if you completed your Class Advancement," Ethan said.

"But Class Advancement requires someone to be level 60."

"I'll help you," Ethan replied.

There were no potions or anything like that to increase EXP. The only best way for them to level up was by exploring the Tower, especially on specific Tower floors.

"What Tower floor are you on now?" Ethan asked.

"Around… 27, I think."

Ethan nodded. He opened the party panel and showed it to Sherly. Sherly looked shocked at Ethan's party invitation.

[Warning!]

[Creating a party without your partner requires your partner's permission]

The man froze. The party had formed, but it couldn't accept members yet. The party needed the partner's approval to prevent potential cheating.

The game administrator… did he hate cheating?

"What is it, Sir Ethan?"

"There are some issues with forming a party."

"We need to go to Ashley's room to get her permission," Ethan said.

"Permission?"

"Ashley and I are married. Looks like the system really limits parties with other people without the partner's approval."

Ethan stepped closer to Sherly. "Maybe Ashley will even want to join. It'll make climbing floors easier for you."
