I Become the Strongest with Infinite Skills Level

Chapter 235: The Second Invasion Finale

Nicholas frowned deeply. He had never imagined that Ethan's plan would turn out like this. From the beginning, he had doubted that Ethan would actually attack Silver Town.

He believed that no single player, no matter how strong, could possibly destroy an entire city on their own.

But his assumption was completely wrong.

The news about Ethan's overwhelming power, the rumor that he could level an entire city, had now become an undeniable reality.

What Nicholas was witnessing was no exaggeration, no myth exaggerated by frightened players. It was happening right in front of his eyes.

"Please… help us!" Nicholas begged, his voice trembling despite his effort to remain composed.

Xeno reacted with complete indifference. He casually turned his face away and remained focused on sipping the drink in his glass, as if the desperate plea meant nothing to him.

Seeing this, Nicholas stared at Xeno in shock. He had never expected that he would end up standing alone in a situation like this, abandoned by those he thought might support him.

Desperate, Nicholas turned to Arthur and asked for his help. However, Arthur clearly refused. He valued his celebration of success far more than helping Nicholas and risking hostility with Ethan.

"It seems impossible," Arthur said calmly. "You should handle this problem yourself."

Arthur's words struck Nicholas like a bolt of lightning. He never expected such a response.

Without saying anything more, Nicholas turned his body and looked toward the representatives of the other guilds, all of them Rank A guilds.

He offered them assistance in exchange for a vast piece of land in Silver Town. Under normal circumstances, it would have been an extremely tempting proposal.

However, after hearing about Ethan's rampage and how Silver Town was being destroyed, they immediately withdrew their interest.

That alone was more than enough to prove that none of them wanted to make an enemy out of a monster like Ethan. They had no desire to see their own cities suffer the same fate as Silver Town.

Realizing that no one was willing to help him, Nicholas felt his anger boil over.

"If none of you want to help me, then I'll do it myself!" Nicholas declared firmly.

"Nice meeting all of you," he continued, his voice rising in fury. "We'll meet again later as enemies!"

Without thinking twice, Nicholas openly declared hostility toward every guild present in that place.

Arthur was not intimidated in the slightest. Nicholas's threat did nothing to frighten him. Instead, Arthur felt a strange sense of excitement, curious about what Nicholas would attempt to do next.

"It's unusual for you not to help him," Arthur remarked.

Xeno smiled faintly. He lifted his glass and took another sip of his drink. "I don't want to make things more complicated."

"Let Ethan stay busy with Silver Star," Xeno continued. "They won't have time to think about a Guild War."

Arthur narrowed his eyes, still watching Xeno closely. To him, Xeno seemed far too calculating. "You're using this chaos to weaken LionArk's position, aren't you?"

"Yes," Xeno replied without hesitation. "Something like that."

Arthur let out a long sigh and shook his head in response. This game was supposed to be a comfortable, ideal place for all players. There was no need for political intrigue or schemes like this.

In Arthur's opinion, such actions only dragged the essence of the game further away from its original purpose.

Instead of focusing on tower raids, which were meant to be the main goal, everyone would end up constantly fighting one another.

Arthur returned to his throne-like seat and gestured for the dancers to continue their performance.

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Ethan continued his brutal slaughter of anyone who dared to attack him.

They were members of the Silver Star guild, along with some players from affiliated guilds. Ethan showed no mercy. He killed all of them as if there were no tomorrow waiting for them.

From a distance, Ashley raised her staff and aimed her magic toward the sky above the city.

The rumble of thunder echoed violently, and blue and red lightning struck repeatedly, shocking everyone who witnessed it.

Ashley summoned thousands of magical swords once again, allowing them to rain down upon the city in a massive and deadly assault.

She felt a slight sense of guilt as she killed them, but Silver Star had done the same thing to Mavelard. Because of that, her guilt faded quickly.

On the other side of the city, Seraphelis continued firing golden beams of light across the area.

Every building struck by the laser was instantly destroyed and engulfed in flames. People caught in the light were reduced to ashes in an instant.

Among everyone present, not a single person was able to stop Seraphelis. All they could do was watch in shock, as if an apocalypse was about to descend upon them.

"Ethan!" one of the officers shouted as he arrived with a large group of Silver Star members.

"You've gone too far. What have you done?" the man demanded.

Ethan swung his sword, killing the remaining nearby members, then glanced forward. He clearly saw the officer standing there, accompanied by dozens of Silver Star members who were ready to fight.

"What have I done?" Ethan replied calmly. "Isn't it obvious? I'm destroying your city."

"Destroying it? Are you insane?" the officer yelled. "You've killed more people than we did during our invasion of Mavelard."

Ethan gave a faint smile, a mocking grin spreading across his face. "So what?"

"Damn you!" the man shouted.

Together with dozens of Silver Star members, the officer charged forward. They drew their weapons and targeted Ethan, determined to kill him.

Ethan was pleased to see them approach. He drove his sword into the ground and activated his skill, Bloodflare Cataclysm, creating a blood-red domain around them.

Ethan received buffs that increased his ATK and AGI, while those trapped within the domain suffered debuffs that reduced their STR and AGI.

Those caught in the blood domain immediately felt their bodies grow heavy. Their movements slowed, their heads throbbed painfully, and dizziness overwhelmed them.

"What… what's happening?" the officer asked, panic creeping into his voice.

Ethan seized the opportunity. He pulled his sword from the ground and leaped forward, slashing through everyone who stood in his path.

They groaned in pain. Some of them attempted to defend themselves using sword techniques, but it was useless.

When Ethan struck their defensive formations, their defenses shattered instantly, collapsing like fragile glass that scattered across the ground.

Ethan narrowed his eyes. He was not finished yet. The officer was still alive. No matter what happened, Silver Star had to be destroyed today to prevent future threats against LionArk.

Ethan fully exploited the situation by repeatedly using Ashura Rift. With thousands of people in the city, he was confident that he could complete the Ashura Rift talent quest quickly.

Many Silver Star members died. The blood domain faded as Bloodflare Cataclysm was deactivated. Ethan narrowed his eyes as he looked at the scattered remains of human bodies around him.

Many of them had died horribly. Ethan's power was something they could not compare to anyone else.

Ethan's attention shifted toward the Silver Star headquarters at the center of the city.

He sprinted forward, cutting down anyone in his way, until he finally stopped in front of thousands of Silver Star members.

The scene was terrifying. One thousand Silver Star members facing a single Ethan of LionArk.

This would be an epic and horrifying battle, one that people would likely remember as the Silver Star massacre.

"ATTACK HIM!" one of the officers shouted.

Ethan grinned widely and tightened his grip on his sword. With a single powerful leap, he landed in the middle of the crowd, the impact sending bodies flying in every direction.

He did not stop. He continued advancing, swinging his sword in all directions and killing everyone who targeted him.

From the officer's position, he could not see Ethan clearly because of the dense crowd. His eyes widened as explosions erupted one after another in the center.

At first, he thought Ethan was being defeated. He was wrong. Ethan was brutally killing Silver Star members, severing limbs and leaving body parts scattered everywhere.

Out of the original thousand Silver Star members, only 459 remained standing. Those who survived immediately stepped back, distancing themselves from Ethan.

Many of them were injured. Many others were traumatized. Their morale was completely broken, and they clearly did not want to continue fighting Ethan.

"Cowards!" the officer shouted angrily. "Get back there and fight him!"

Just as Ethan was about to finish them all, a loud voice from behind startled him. Ethan stopped mid-run and turned around.

It was Ashley. She had arrived with Nicholas, the guild leader of Silver Star. Both of them looked shocked when they saw Ethan's condition.

His LionArk clothes and cloak were soaked and stained with blood.

"What—" Nicholas began.

"You?" Ethan cut him off, pointing his sword at Nicholas. "Do you want to die?"

"Negotiation!" Nicholas shouted quickly.

"Let's negotiate."

Ethan narrowed his eyes and stepped away from the Silver Star headquarters, stopping in front of Nicholas.

"Negotiation?" Ethan repeated.

"I'll withdraw Silver Star's forces from the eastern lands," Nicholas said. "You must stop your invasion of my city."

"I'm about to win this invasion," Ethan replied calmly. "Meanwhile, your troops are still stuck outside the city walls."

"Damn it!" Nicholas cursed.

"What do you want?" Nicholas shouted in frustration.

Ethan smiled widely, then pointed directly at Nicholas. "Hand over the City Authority Token to LionArk."

"What? Are you insane?" Nicholas yelled.

"Give me the token," Ethan said coldly, "or your guild will be completely destroyed."

"Their lives depend on your decision."
