Traveler of the River of Time and Space

Chapter 63: Ancient Elf 4

Regardless.

Since it has been decided to get involved in these matters, Su Ziyu certainly needs to showcase some strength.

Sometimes displaying some power can avoid a lot of unnecessary trouble. More importantly, it can grant a certain level of authority. Su Ziyu needs the authority brought by strength here, not the respect gained from the Blessing of the Guardian Witch.

Mei Gao's face turned completely red. Elves are generally prideful, and his expression was a bit hard to maintain, his handsome face slightly distorted.

The opponent hadn't even drawn his sword.

In one strike, his weapon was knocked away.

Next to him, Vera's small mouth was agape in an 'O' shape, and the old dwarf had a look of shock on his face as well. It seemed they hadn't expected Su Ziyu's strength to be so astonishing.

Mei Gao's hand trembled slightly. That powerful sweep just now made it impossible for him to hold onto his sword. No techniques mattered; he was instantly defeated by pure strength and speed. This was even when Su Ziyu held back. If he had struck with his sword, with the speed he just displayed, he could have easily put a bloody hole in Mei Gao.

To be fair.

Mei Gao's strength was still decent, equivalent to about three Witch Hunters in close combat, but any more would not stand a chance.

However, elves are renowned for their archery, so his forte should still be with the bow and arrow.

"Demon Hunters are truly impressive people," Vera thought to herself.

One-on-one.

Demon Hunters had never lost a duel in the tavern. A reputation of one or two hundred years wasn't so easily broken.

"That was just a mistake," Mei Gao said with a flushed face. He couldn't even convince himself, yet he stubbornly continued, "I just wasn't paying attention, and I'm not skilled in swordsmanship."

The commotion seemed to attract a few people.

Su Ziyu saw some Druids and Treants, as well as the Starcallers he had chatted and bragged with yesterday.

"Again?" Su Ziyu's expression remained calm as he slowly said, "You can use your bow and arrow."

His White Crow Swordsmanship had been enhanced to LV3.

He couldn't release Sword Qi, and using the sword to block bullets was probably still a challenge, but if it were arrows, he felt he could give it a try.

He had never encountered a skilled archer before.

Today was an opportunity to practice with the Elf Ranger in front of him. Such non-lethal testing opportunities were rare.

Upon hearing Su Ziyu's words, the others couldn't help but widen their eyes.

Elven archery was well-known, and typically, an Elven Archer was a terrifying foe, almost always a Divine Shooter by accuracy, their long lives giving them ample time to hone their skills.

"Really?" Mei Gao's expression was delightful as he stepped back to increase the distance, then picked up his bow and arrow, saying sternly, "Don't blame me if you get hurt later!"

He naturally wouldn't aim for vital points, but injuries were inevitable when using a bow and arrow.

"Be careful."

"Do you want to wear armor? I have some human armor," the old dwarf walked over, speaking lowly, "That guy's archery is formidable!"

The old dwarf had a bad temper, but he was a decent person.

If he wore armor, even if he got injured, it wouldn't be too serious, but it would hinder Su Ziyu's performance, as his swordsmanship was definitely feline in style.

"No need." Su Ziyu shook his head with a smile, silently deciding to let him win a bit more the next time they played cards, when there was no bet.

The surroundings gradually quieted.

Among the elves, Rangers were top-notch in archery. Everyone present was well aware of Mei Gao's strength, as he was a well-known figure. Many were somewhat worried facing an Elf Ranger using a bow and arrow. After all, once the arrow was released, it couldn't be controlled.

"I acknowledge your excellent swordsmanship," the Elf Ranger said slowly from a distance, "but! Demon Hunter, don't underestimate elf archery!"

Swoosh!

The Elf Ranger nocked an arrow in an instant, moving with incredible speed and skill, as if having practiced countless times.

He thought Su Ziyu would quickly close the distance, forcing him not to use the bow, as the best way to deal with ranged shooters, apart from shooting back, was to close in.

Unexpectedly, Su Ziyu just stood there without moving.

Clang!

A clear collision sound was heard.

In that instant, few could see clearly, others only saw an arrow and a flying knife fall simultaneously.

The surroundings erupted instantly!

Everyone's expressions were of utter surprise, and Vera cautiously glanced at Su Ziyu's waist, where it appeared several flying knives were hidden.

"How is that possible?" Mei Gao's expression was even more shocked. He hadn't used full force, but still couldn't accept someone knocking down his arrow with a flying knife.

Su Ziyu continued to stand unmoving.

However, his expression gradually grew excited, his perception fully engaged. He gestured towards the distant Elf Ranger to continue.

Buzz!

The bowstring was pulled to a full moon, the power of an Elf Longbow at full draw was immense, capable of penetrating iron armor. Mei Gao had only drawn with six-tenths of his strength.

An arrow shot out swiftly.

Clang!

Su Ziyu finally drew out the Meteor from his waist, his eyes slightly squinted, pupils visibly contracting, and struck the arrow instantly away.

He had never fully tested the abilities of White Crow Swordsmanship LV3.

For dealing with high-level vampires, he used an Anti-Material Sniper Rifle, and during practice with Melissa, he always sparred with his eyes closed, never displaying his full potential.

Now it appeared.

If he further enhanced his swordsmanship ability, perhaps he could really attempt to deflect bullets.

The surroundings were very quiet.

Yet nearby everyone had a circular 'O' shaped mouth, and Vera's eyes seemed to shimmer with light, staring fixedly at Su Ziyu's movements.

Too fast.

The naked eye found it hard to capture.

Mei Gao's expression grew increasingly serious, staring intently at the distant Su Ziyu, then he simultaneously drew three arrows.

Continuous Arrow.

Buzz.

The bowstring vibrated as the three arrows shot almost simultaneously towards Su Ziyu. Only an elf could perform such techniques with a longbow; humans could only manage single shots.

Clang clang!

Su Ziyu's expression was very excited as he instantly swung two swords, then grabbed sharply with his left hand, catching an arrow in his palm.

So, this is how Perception Enhancement is used!

Su Ziyu casually tossed away the arrow in his hand, with a gradually fervent expression, he said solemnly, "Again!"

He hadn't reached his limit yet.

Su Ziyu could feel that he still had more potential to tap into. He hadn't even pushed his limits, nor used Time Acceleration and Spiritual Energy powers.

"I lost." Mei Gao put away his bow with a dejected face.

The opponent had actually caught the arrow with his bare hand, a devastating blow to an archer.

The aloof Elf Ranger turned away, his expression bleak, somewhat self-doubting, leaving without a word.

He seemed to have shut down.
