"Show daddy your hand." Su Ziyu crouched down, glanced at Matty beside him, and spoke tenderly to the little girl in front of him.
"Hmm." The little girl obediently extended her pale hand.
Su Ziyu looked at the marks left by needles on his daughter's wrist, his face darkening with anger.
The Brotherhood had received news that a perfect mutant was born within the Academy. She retained all normal human abilities while developing a gene that inhibits radiation mutation. Internally, the Academy referred to her as "The Cure," and potions made from her blood could even temporarily restore the communication ability of Corpse Ghosts to that of a normal person.
"Is this really your daughter? That's impressive!" came the voice of the abstinent observer.
He curiously examined the little girl in front of him, looked at Matty next to her, and couldn't help but express surprise, "What a coincidence! Your daughter was rescued by the little fox."
The little girl remained vigilant towards everyone except Su Ziyu and Matty.
Upon seeing the abstinent walk over, she hugged Matty's arm and hid behind her, then frowned and looked towards Su Ziyu.
"Your daughter seems a bit shy," the abstinent awkwardly smiled.
After confirming that the two Brotherhood members were speaking the truth, Su Ziyu let them go and instructed them to convey a message to the Brotherhood: He would visit their headquarters in person sometime.
Pasha's sudden disappearance carried many mysteries.
The genetic modifications the little girl underwent at the Academy ignited Su Ziyu's fury. Initially, he planned to leave the Wasteland World after finding a few micro-nuclear bombs, but now it was clear he couldn't leave until the matter was resolved. Su Ziyu shuddered at the thought of his daughter falling into the Academy's hands and suffering inhumane treatment. Even contemplating the Academy's secret genetic modifications made him want to burn the place down in rage.
This debt must be settled!
But for now, the most important thing was to uncover what genetic changes had occurred in his daughter. All information regarding mutant modification was held by the Academy. Su Ziyu once retrieved some from the Southern Cross, but they were all failed experiments.
The Southern Cross contained a colossal entity made from countless human bodies stitched together.
It was a monster created by genetic modification and radiation mutation, and reportedly, some of these creatures could grow to the size of a small mountain.
"Come with daddy."
Su Ziyu had no preparations for being a father. He squatted down, looked at the little girl in front of him, and slowly said, "Tell daddy what happened at the Academy."
"Okay." The little girl nodded gently, took Su Ziyu's hand, and followed him inside.
The Academy's internal conflict broke out very suddenly.
However, Su Ziyu was more concerned about the Genetic Potion they injected into his daughter. Although she seemed normal, it was intended to modify Super Soldiers, and who knew what side effects hadn't manifested yet.
Su Ziyu was entirely out of his depth regarding genetic modification technology.
He had no idea what effects the Genetic Potion had within his daughter's body, and the Elk Camp lacked the resources and equipment to check.
Yet.
Su Ziyu wasn't entirely helpless. The simplest and most effective method was to allow his daughter to have a digitized template. By connecting her to his own Space-Time Monitor System, he could see her current status.
"Consume 1 point of Divinity Value!"
"Contract Space-Time Apostle!"
Though that point of Divinity Value was exceptionally precious, compared to his daughter, it was insignificant.
Su Ziyu placed his hand on the little girl's forehead. As a faint golden divine light appeared in his eyes, vast streams of data began to move in his mind.
"If you feel uncomfortable, try to endure it," Su Ziyu whispered.
"Okay." The little girl nodded, curiously watching her father and noticing the glow in his eyes.
For a moment.
A torrent of data surged into Su Ziyu's mind. The little girl's face showed a hint of pain as mysterious symbols appeared within her consciousness. Once the Space-Time Apostle contract was completed, a new set of character attribute data appeared alongside Su Ziyu's digitized template.
"Name: Su Ying [Space-Time Apostle]."
"Race: Human [Perfect Mutant]."
"Biological Level: Tier One."
"Authority Level: Space-Time Apostle."
"Ability: Spiritual Energy (Unawakened).
"Attributes: Fortune Seeking, Radiation Immunity, Genetic Modification, Regeneration Enhancement, Mind Sensing, Child of the Plane."
Phew.
After carefully reviewing his daughter's digitized template and confirming no abnormal negative states, Su Ziyu felt slightly relieved. The little girl's ability was an unawakened Spiritual Energy. Perhaps it was because she was his daughter, as Su Ziyu himself first awakened Spiritual Energy through Time Acceleration.
——"Fortune Seeking: By relying solely on intuition, you can avoid disasters and find events advantageous to you."
——"Radiation Immunity: Your body has developed antibodies against radiation, fully immunizing you against pollution from radiation."
——"Genetic Modification: Mutant gene modification improves physical qualities, delays aging, and enhances recovery ability."
The little girl had some unique attributes.
But the most surprising to Su Ziyu was 'Child of the Plane,' a characteristic he had never seen before, which seemed somewhat akin to his own 'Person Beyond Destiny.'
"Child of the Plane: The current character is a special figure for this plane, affecting the future direction of this world, and gaining the Qi Fortune Blessing from the plane's broad consciousness."
The little girl was somewhat different from Su Ziyu.
Su Ziyu was an interdimensional visitor with little connection to this world, but she was different. She was an indigenous of this world. Being Su Ziyu's daughter, her mother was Pasha. The little girl was born a human in this world, and perhaps Su Ziyu never imagined how leaving a trace of his gene here would coincidentally create a life.
"Daddy."
"There seem to be some data symbols in my head." The little girl raised her head to look at Su Ziyu in confusion, "What is a Space-Time Apostle?"
"Is daddy one too?"
Su Ziyu nodded, "Yes."
"This is our little secret, don't tell anyone else."
"Alright?"
The little girl smiled and nodded vigorously, "Alright. I'll keep it a secret."
"Daddy."
"Now that I'm a Space-Time Apostle, can I fly in the future?"
Fly?
Children's thoughts are indeed puzzling.
Su Ziyu nodded, "Of course you can. But not now; you'll have to wait until you grow a bit."
The little girl's talent starting point was better than his.
Though her Spiritual Energy hadn't awakened yet, her attributes were useful abilities. Even if Su Ziyu taught her nothing, she would still grow into a significant figure in the Wasteland Era.
But how could Su Ziyu not enhance his daughter?
If it's just Source Power Value,
He could exhaust himself by killing more monsters in the future—his daughter absolutely deserved a boost.
