Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 179: Suffering Players and Future Plans_2

"Hmm, I have no objections either."

"Agreed."

"Seconded."

...

There was no opposition to Lor's proposal.

The main reason being that Lor didn't have many Magic Crystal Ores to begin with, so even if he wanted to cordon off players, there wouldn't be many.

"Since everyone has no objections, Speaker Lor's proposal is passed. Let's move on to the next topic," Francis immediately announced.

The next topic, naturally, was discussing how to restrict players from spreading the Fourth Ring breakthrough method.

The final conclusion was that any unauthorized player breaking through the Fourth Ring would be instantly wiped out, along with a decree for their elimination.

As for those upgraded from mortals, there were numerous methods, and no one would be foolish enough to attempt it.

After finishing the player's topic, some legislators proposed other topics.

Like Jerald's proposal, regarding the arrangement for the newly advanced Fifth Ring Faith Wizard, Cody.

After voting, it was decided to restore his status as a legislator.

To become a speaker, however, he would need to contribute more to the Wizard World.

For Faith Wizards, most of the legislators present held some degree of vigilance and resistance.

Subsequently, a few more legislators proposed topics, and votes were cast one by one. The conference, which lasted three hours, finally ended.

Most of the legislators dispersed, leaving only a few remaining.

Among them were Yasen and two others who temporarily guarded the Abyss entrance to prevent low-level demons from emerging, along with the Earth Element Fifth Ring Legislator Peyton and Lor.

"Speaker Lor, have you selected the site for your Wizard Tower?" Peyton asked Lor.

"Yes, I've chosen the central part of the Agate Great Plains on the Betula Continent," Lor nodded.

"Alright, I'll go there to help you set up the basic framework of the Wizard Tower and connect it with the continent's Defense Shield," Peyton smiled.

For a legislator's Wizard Tower, it's usually his student, Legislator Balin, who helps with the construction.

For a speaker's Wizard Tower, it is personally constructed by Peyton.

"Thank you," Lor immediately expressed his gratitude.

After a few more casual exchanges, Peyton transformed into a speck of dust and flew toward the Betula Continent.

"My Wizard Tower is finally going to be built."

Lor gazed toward the Betula Continent, pondering, "Approximately a hundred and thirty years remain until the next player arrival."

"During these hundred and thirty years, my primary goal is to recruit students, striving to cultivate a few Third Ring Spatial Mages."

"The secondary goal is gradually to explore different wizard development paths to diversify wizard types."

"Guidance for Soul Mages should be delayed; otherwise, if Domenico heads in the right direction too soon, it might even become a fatal threat to me."

"The remaining free time will be used to seek out foundational Space Runes."

"There are seventy-two types of construct category foundational Space Runes in total. Finding just fifty should allow me to start attempting to construct a Spatial Domain, preparing for a Fifth Ring promotion."

"Additionally, both the Space Ring and small space expansions require specific construct category foundational Space Runes."

"The Space Transmission Array needs spatial positioning, Leaping Void, and some specific construct category foundational Space Runes."

"Opening the plane era requires the combination of Spatial Penetration Rune and Leaping Void Rune, along with some construct category foundational Space Runes to build a Witchcraft Model."

Upon calculating, I found that the only functional space rune I'm urgently lacking is a single Spatial Penetration Rune.

But construct category foundational Space Runes are incredibly scarce; none currently at hand.

The solution lies with players, students, and myself, collecting them intermittently with a Microscope Model.

"Take it slow; I still have plenty of time to gather them all," Lor thought to himself.

Then, calming his thoughts, he silently Elementalized his body, transforming into a True Body of the Space Element about 1.83 meters tall, triggering the Origin Container in his Sea of Consciousness, and performing Space Jumping Witchcraft towards the Betula Continent.

Now he needed to inform Agular to be ready to welcome Peyton.

...

A short while later.

On the Betula Continent, in the center of the Agate Great Plains, in a grand hall at the heart of Lor City.

Agular was seated at the end of a long table in the center of the hall, reviewing documents one by one.

"Knock, knock, knock—"

Suddenly, a shadowy figure appeared silently outside the hall, lightly knocking on the open hall door. Three dull knocks echoed through the hall.

"Speaker Lor... You've returned," Agular lifted his head, and upon seeing the shadowy figure, immediately rose, expressing delight.

Lor's ascension to Speaker was long since announced to the entire Wizard Alliance by Jerald through the notice board, a fact Agular had seen.

Now, Lor's status was incredibly high, far beyond what Agular could have ever imagined overseeing.

Even the high and mighty Master Nelson was just a Fourth Ring Legislator.

But the student he once took in had now become a Speaker.

A Speaker!

Standing at the pinnacle of the Wizard Alliance!

Agular could never have dreamt he'd become a mentor to a Speaker one day.

Thus, he dared not show even a hint of disrespect towards a Speaker.

"Mentor, why be so formal with me?"

Lor's shadowy hue faded as he returned to his corporeal form, shaking his head with a bitter smile, "No matter what I've become, I'm still your student, and no external factors can change that."

Truth be told, Lor never imagined that becoming a Speaker would cause Agular's attitude towards him to become so distant.

As a Legislator, there wasn't much change in Agular's attitude before.

I wonder how Kateya will react upon seeing him?

"Lor... you..." Agular found it exceedingly difficult to change his wording, but after uttering those four words, he suddenly didn't know what to say to Lor next.

Should he caution Lor to be careful?

Who in the Wizard World still poses a threat to him?

Teach him witchcraft?

He no longer has that qualification!

"Mentor, Speaker Peyton will be coming over to help me build the Wizard Tower, so please direct someone to prepare a banquet,"

Lor slowly walked to the long table, lightly waved his hand, and placed a large mound of rare ingredients received during his attempts to acquire Origin Points on the table, gently asking, "By the way, does anyone here know how to handle these ingredients?"

"If not, I'll seek help from Ron."

There wasn't much he could do to comfort Agular's current unease, except let time gradually wear it down.

With more time spent together, everything should return to how it was when Agular sought him after killing Gu Lei.

Agular's eyes flickered over the various rare ingredients Lor laid out, his pupils trembling violently.

What had he just heard?

Ingredients?

Was something like the Fire Dragon Sacred Fruit, a Fourth Level treasure that slightly enhances draconic exotic beast bloodlines, being called an ingredient by Lor?

Apart from the Fire Dragon Sacred Fruit, over a dozen treasures of similar preciousness, albeit with different uses, were piled on the table. Are these ingredients?

By now, Agular was convinced that his worldview could no longer keep pace with Lor's; he sighed softly and spoke with some difficulty:

"Lor... We truly have no one here capable of handling such 'ingredients'. Only the representatives on Ron's side might have such 'talent'."

"Alright, I'll ask Ron," Lor nodded with a smile, paying little heed to Agular's implied extravagance; the latter would get used to it over time.

He promptly retrieved a Continent Communication Device from his Space Ring and sent Ron a communication request.

In just an instant, Ron accepted the communication, and upon seeing Lor, he immediately bowed deeply, greeting, "Speaker Lor," with no questions about why Lor sought him out, nor did he hesitate to straighten up. Instead, he stood respectfully and listened intently to Lor.

Compared to before, now he was much more reverent.
