A middle-aged man with orange hair and wearing a red Great Wizard Robe spoke; his brows held a faint resemblance to the young man.
His face showed a hint of worry and some helplessness.
All these years, he had been battling in the Endless Sea, but unexpectedly, under his wife's indulgence, his child began contemplating the path of the Light Wizard.
This path is indeed easy to walk, and it wouldn't lead to so many geniuses falling.
He had just received a notice that this little fellow went to review that conjecture again, and he guessed what would happen next.
He came now hoping to make one last effort to retain his child's life.
As for the future...
If there isn't one, that's fine, as long as he's alive.
"I've decided." Mann didn't turn around, directly opened the room door, entered the dormitory, closed the door, and walked firmly towards the bedroom.
He was unwilling to halt his life's progress at the Third Ring or even the Fourth Ring.
Now, to become a Fifth Ring and reach the position of Speaker, the most important thing is no longer talent, but Contribution Points.
As long as he becomes a Light Wizard and continues on this path, Contribution Points will come automatically.
He has no talent in auxiliary professions and couldn't find a simpler path; hence he is prepared to stake his life on it.
An hour later.
A weak light passed through the dormitory door seam, casting its glow on the face of the middle-aged Great Wizard, turning his expression from worry to shock and joy.
"Has it succeeded?!" He sensed the scene inside the room, his heart filled with joy and surprise.

Wizard Calendar Year 85, May 13.
Betula Continent, Lor Wizard Tower issued an announcement, Lor Speaker's third student was born.
The details were spread by various wizards owning laboratories, reportedly a blonde girl named Colin Neck.

Wizard Calendar Year 92, July 1.
Milton Continent, East of Francis City, Energy Furnace Research Base.
"Boom—"
A loud explosion resonated through the research base, echoing until it reached the base's boundary, where it was dissipated by a pale blue barrier.
"Did Du An fail again?" In a medium-sized laboratory, a wizened elder wizard dressed in a golden Great Wizard Robe paused his hand rubbing the Energy Furnace briefly before continuing.
"How exactly can the Energy Furnace be expanded and remain stable?" The elder wizard's eyes were filled with the glow of contemplation.
He seemed to have grasped a fleeting moment of insight, only to be interrupted by that loud noise.
However, this did not frustrate him; as long as he could think of it once, he could certainly think of it again.
The accumulated knowledge does not vanish just because of an interruption.
Three hours later.
"Right, if the Overlapping Technique doesn't work, why not try the Flow Guidance Technique?"
The elder wizard's eyes lit up, stopping his hand rubbing the Energy Furnace, "Distributing and gathering Magic Crystal Energy before integrating it into the Magic Array achieves the same effect but greatly reduces the pressure during Magic Crystal extraction."
Upon realization, a faint gold glow appeared on the elder wizard's fingertip, slowly touching the Energy Furnace's wall, manually engraving new patterns.
While engraving, he continually reshaped the Energy Furnace, enlarging it proportionally.
Three days later.
A new Energy Furnace, twice as large as usual, with Complex Energy Distribution Nodes more than ten times intricate, was born.
"Let's test it, hopefully, it will succeed."
After placing a golden barrier around himself, the elder wizard tossed a Magic Crystal into the Energy Furnace.
"Hum—"
The Magic Crystal was effortlessly decomposed; its Elemental Energy was smoothly gathered at the center of the Energy Furnace before being absorbed by the Charging Magic Array below and vanishing.
"Hahaha, it really worked!" The elder wizard was exuberant.
This singular achievement was enough to amass the Contribution Points required to advance to the Fourth Ring.
Whether he would ultimately breakthrough...
That was still up to fate.

Wizard Calendar Year 95, August 12.
Betula Continent, Lor Wizard Tower issued an announcement, Lor Speaker's fourth student was born.
The details spread similarly, reportedly a blue-haired boy named Beck Evans.
The same year, Lor Speaker released a new conjecture named "On the Feasibility of Summoning Wizard Faction."
Unlike other Wizard factions, the Summoning Wizard Faction seemed to have emerged as a subordinate faction reliant on the Space Wizard Faction.
To enter, one must first fuse Earth-Fire Dual-Element Witchcraft into a new Space Faction Witchcraft, an extraordinarily challenging feat.

Wizard Calendar Year 97, March 7.
Wein Continent released a video announcing the birth of the first One-Ring Puppet Wizard.
In the video, the One-Ring Puppet Wizard could control over a hundred demon material-reformed puppets single-handedly.
Each puppet wasn't notably powerful alone, but combined, they could completely crush typical Multi-Element and Bloodline Mages, a terrifying spectacle.
This day added another vivid chapter to Lor Speaker's legendary story.

Wizard Calendar Year 113, November 3.
Eastern Funni Continent, fifth-floor library of a yellow Wizard Tower.
A middle-aged man wearing a gold-yellow apprentice wizard robe depicted the parchment scroll in his hand, his eyes filled with resolve.
"Forty years, I've finally reached the last step in combining Earth Sinking Technique and Solidification Technique; success or failure will be determined now."
He gently closed and returned the scroll, rising to head towards the dormitory.
The scroll he just put down had nine large words on its cover, "Light and Dark Mage Conjecture."
A month later, thin black fog engulfed the middle-aged wizard's dormitory.

Wizard Calendar Year 153, December 7.
Eastern Milton Continent, top floor of a red Wizard Tower adorned with a depiction of a goat.
"Have I gone down the wrong path before?" Domenico gazed at the bloodline patterns within him incompatible with his chosen path, his brows furrowed. "My path is with the soul; it is pointless to blindly strengthen the physical body. I should pave a new path leading to the Fifth Ring."
Stuck at the Fourth Ring bottleneck for nearly a millennium, watching his wife breakthrough from the Fourth Ring to the Fifth while he remained stagnant, he was undoubtedly anxious.
But anxiety is useless; the irreconcilable bloodline and soul prevented him from achieving concurrent and progressive amplification to breakthrough the Fifth Ring.
If he merely used the bloodline to breakthrough the Fifth Ring, the soul faction he founded would end and reduce to an insignificant branch within Bloodline Wizards.
This was unacceptable to him.
"Can I truly pave a new path under the Bloodline Wizard system?" He looked up at the tower's peak, his heart filled with future uncertainty.
Paving a path is an arduous task.
Even though he had resolved to pursue it, he was unsure of ultimate success.

Wizard Calendar Year 195, June 1.
Central Milton Continent, top floor of a blue-yellow Wizard Tower.
"It seems I've already taken the first step towards the Sixth Ring?" Francis looked at the domain slightly overlapping with the green Origin Container in his Sea of Consciousness, a satisfied smile appeared on his lips.
Though it took him nearly twenty years to achieve such minor overlap, achieving perfect fusion may still take a long while.
But progress was gratifying.
With each forward step he took, he raised the upper limits of the Wizard Alliance.

Wizard Calendar Year 200, January 1.
Betula Continent, top floor of Lor Wizard Tower, inside a study.
Lor slowly opened his eyes, picked up the quill, and sketched a new incomplete foundation Space Rune on parchment.
"In nearly a hundred years, I've only obtained four complete foundational Space Runes." Lor looked at the pile of incomplete foundational Space Runes and four complete foundational Space Runes on parchment, shaking his head with a wry smile.
Among the four complete foundational runes he acquired, two were construction-type foundational runes, which he named as 1st Constructive Rune and 2nd Constructive Rune.
Additionally, there were two functional complete foundational runes, named Spatial Barrier Foundation Rune and Spatial Decaying Foundation Rune.
The Spatial Barrier Foundation Rune was captured by his second student Villan when he ascended to the Second Ring.
These two functional runes could entirely serve as cores, integrating with the Void Realm Witchcraft Model and Great Meteor Technique Model.
The premise is constructing them into a Rune Model, which necessitates more Constructive-type foundational runes as bases.
In short, everything would need significantly more time.
"If nothing unexpected happens, players should arrive within ten years." Lor relaxed his mind, letting his thoughts wander.
He had long been anticipating insights into the Sequence Panel, hoping it wouldn't let him down.
