"The bicentennial Grand Council meeting of the Wizard Calendar is about to commence. Perhaps it's time to test their degree of aversion towards the Bloodline Wizard Modification Faction once more," Lor thought silently.
He had always wanted to establish the Abyssal Wizard System, but was hindered by the other Speakers' apprehension due to the unrest caused by the Faith Wizard Faction, which had prevented any progress.
Abyssal Wizards are far more useful than those second-rate factions like the Light and Dark Wizards.
The strongest physique is no mere boast.
Now, a hundred and ninety years have passed since the Faith Wizard upheaval, perhaps it's time to gauge their attitude again.
"Hmm, let's inform Speaker Yasen first. If even he can't be persuaded, then it might be best to hold off," Lor decided, as a wisp of flame emerged from his palm.
Communicating with Yasen is more convenient with the New Fire, avoiding the possibility of premature leakage.
In an instant, the New Fire in his hand grew brighter, and an aged voice emerged from it.
"Speaker Lor, why are you contacting me with New Fire right now?" Yasen's voice carried a strong sense of curiosity.
The Grand Council will commence in two hours.
He was already in the Grand Council's communication hall; if Lor just wanted to chat, he could easily have come in to join them.
"Speaker Yasen, I have a matter I'm uncertain about and need your opinion," Lor transmitted his voice.
He was unsure whether Yasen was at the Grand Council venue, so he spoke obliquely, to prevent accidentally revealing his intentions to other legislators and Speakers.
"Alright, hold on a moment." Catching Lor's hint, Yasen didn't hesitate, looking at the light screen ahead, saying, "Gentlemen, I have a matter to attend to; see you later."
"Go ahead."
"Alright."
"See you later."
The fifteen present Speakers, who had been chatting idly, nodded in acknowledgment.
The wisp of New Fire emanating from Yasen's hand was naturally seen by them, but they didn't mind, assuming it was a sudden contact from Yasen's student or grandson.
"Snap—"
Yasen exited the Grand Council communication hall, storing the Continent Communication Device in his Space Ring, and then transmitted his voice to the New Fire in his hand: "Speaker Lor, please go ahead."
"Speaker Yasen, you should be aware of the conjectures I've published over the years, right?" Lor said evasively.
The art of language lies in the necessary prelude.
Saying outright that he wanted to publish the Abyssal Wizard Conjecture might be too much for Yasen to handle, as he was the biggest Speaker-level victim of the Faith Wizard chaos.
But with a prelude, the outcome could be very different.
"Of course!"
As soon as Lor mentioned it, Yasen's voice became much more enthusiastic, "Ha ha, Speaker Lor, I once thought that your ability to establish the Space Wizard Faction was remarkable, but I never imagined it was just the beginning."
"Ideas like the Light Faction, Dark Faction, Puppet Faction—each realization left us old folks in awe!"
Every word he spoke came from the heart.
Other wizards' ideas were merely conjectures, with only a vague direction.
Whether they could be realized was unknown, with the chance of failure far exceeding that of success.
But Lor's conjectures were different; each one he proposed had specific points of action that could be experimented upon based on those general directions.
Even the Light Wizard path, least regarded by them, was surprisingly validated by a youngster.
Such nearly guiding conjectures left them all in awe of Lor's abundant talent.
"You flatter me." Lor welcomed, albeit with a modest tone laced with a faint smile, "The success of my conjectures owes much to the trust of those genius apprentices."
"You, always the same for hundreds of years," Yasen shook his head, a bit amused by Lor's words.
Which of their conjectures, once published, hadn't gained the trust of genius apprentices?
And yet, the result?
Most of the apprentices who believed them ended up mediocre.
Whereas the apprentices who believed in Lor truly embarked on a heavenly path.
"Actually, this time I'm coming to you because I have a new conjecture that is already constructed. I'm just hesitant about publishing it, and I thought of consulting your opinion first." Having laid the groundwork, Lor decisively brought out the main topic.
"Oh?" Yasen's curiosity was piqued, "What conjecture? Let's hear it."
Lor's new conjecture had already excited his expectations.
There was simply no way he could not be curious with such a mysterious setup.
"My new conjecture is designed for Bloodline Wizards, titled 'On the Feasibility of Abyssal Mage Faction.'"
Lor stated gradually, "Its main purpose is to allow Bloodline Wizards to extract Abyssal Demon Bloodlines to enhance themselves."
"Through research, I discovered that the bloodlines of Abyssal Demons are quite peculiar, seemingly distinct yet having some correlations."
"Where exactly they're related, since formal experiments haven't been conducted yet, I'm not too certain either."
"However, I have a premonition that if Abyssal Bloodlines were to meld, there could be a significant surprise waiting."
"Abyssal..."
After hearing Lor's description, Yasen hesitated for a long time, then with some doubt said, "This should be similar to another faction like the Faith Wizard Faction, right?"
"If it eventually ends up developing like the Faith Wizards, losing an upper limit, wouldn't that be..."
If Lor were to publish an Elemental Faction conjecture now, no matter how outrageous, Yasen would support it unreservedly and promote it vigorously, and he believed the other Speakers, and even legislators, would make the same choice as him.
