Wizard: Starting from the Skill Tree

Chapter 196: The War Ends

For Black Sail, it was an enormous joyous occasion, with the entire organization brimming with a joyous atmosphere.

The significance represented by a Middle Plane is extraordinary, with resources that can be described as massive.

Generally speaking, civilizations in Middle Planes are very powerful, and even Black Sail finds it difficult to conquer a Middle Plane alone.

It often requires collaboration from multiple parties to jointly conquer a Middle Plane.

Some Middle Planes are so powerful that even the Wizard Plane dares not provoke them lightly, let alone conquer them.

After Black Sail took control of the Beastman Plane, the subsequent development strategies also underwent significant adjustments.

If it were an ordinary Low Plane, the development strategies would generally be rougher, without much consideration for the impact on the plane.

Some planes lose their value for occupation once their resources are fully extracted, and Black Sail would simply walk away, leaving only a slow death for the plane.

In those abandoned planes, due to the extremity of the environment, the creatures living there can only survive in desperation, with more and more races gradually going extinct, until finally becoming a completely dead plane.

However, such situations are the minority, as the majority of planes adopt a sustainable extraction strategy and do not act too violently.

With the Beastman Plane advancing to a Middle Plane, Black Sail will not only extract resources more gently but also construct and develop the area, turning it into another Black Sail rear base.

Many forces in the Wizard Plane control multiple planes, but Middle Planes remain the minority, and Black Sail only has a few Middle Planes in hand.

The advancement process of the Beastman Plane took a month to seemingly end, with not too much geological activity remaining at least.

Actually, the advancement process of the plane is not completely over and will continue for hundreds of years, with the plane's rules continually being perfected and reinforced.

This plane war only lasted for half a year, yet Black Sail captured the Beastman Plane without much cost, with unexpected joys as well.

Over the following month, the Third Legion, where Duke was, was dispersed across the newly formed continents, responsible for local infrastructure construction and maintaining order.

Some rogue Beastman forces still remained on the Beastman Plane, occasionally emerging to cause some destruction.

However, these forces were no longer formidable, and apart from causing some occasional annoyance to the wizards, they had no significant impact.

As time passes, these remaining forces will gradually be cleared away.

The Third Legion, Seventh Legion, and Tenth Legion of the Beastman Plane gradually withdrew some of their forces, leaving only a fraction stationed on the Beastman Plane.

The main forces of the Beastman Plane have been either eliminated or captured, with no longer a need for a large number of troops to be stationed, preventing waste of resources.

For a long period thereafter, guarding the Beastman Plane will become a new task for Black Sail, with Black Sail wizards coming here to station periodically to maintain the pace of resource development and construction on the Beastman Plane.

The stationing task is relatively easy, although it can be somewhat boring.

Duke returned to the Wizard Plane not long after the war ended, concluding this interplane journey.

He settled his contributions at the supply depot, ultimately having 5,520 contribution points in hand, a bountiful harvest.

The majority of it came from killing Level 1 Beastmen on the battlefield and earning contribution through the capture of Albi City, with the remaining guarding and other tasks not earning much contribution.

Apart from the more than five thousand contribution points, Duke's biggest gain was the two hundred thousand pieces of Level 1 Green Crystal Stone.

Black Sail purchased them at a ratio of 1.5, fetching thirty thousand pieces of Level 1 Magic Stones upon sale.

However, selling them outside of Black Sail could potentially earn a higher price, as other Wizard forces had a demand for these new Energy Crystal Stones.

To them, the research value was greater than its monetary value, at least for the short term.

As time passes and Green Crystal Stones become more common on the market, the ratio would gradually decrease, eventually approaching one-to-one, becoming no different from ordinary Energy Crystal Stones.

If Duke wanted to exchange this batch of Green Crystal Stones for more Magic Stones, he had to act fast.

His purpose for not staying longer on the Beastman Plane was to rush back and deal with this batch of Green Crystal Stones.

After returning, Duke contacted Harrison from the Giant Rock Commerce Association and White from the Broken Cauldron Alchemy Shop, both of whom were interested in the Green Crystal Stones.

The Broken Cauldron Alchemy Shop offered a ratio of 1.8, while Harrison, after applying, indicated they could offer a ratio of 2 if the entire batch of two hundred thousand was sold to them at once.

Duke knew that was almost the limit, and it would be difficult to sell at a higher price elsewhere, so he decisively chose to sell.

He sold the entire batch of two hundred thousand Green Crystal Stones to the Giant Rock Commerce Association in one go, receiving a whole forty thousand pieces of Level 1 Magic Stones.

Green Crystal Stones are relatively rare now, but will be easier to obtain in the future, and when needed, they can be acquired then, as prices will not be as high as they are now.

To fit these forty thousand pieces of Level 1 Magic Stones, Duke specifically purchased a Space Ring with an extra-large space.

The Space Rings he used in the past were actually of Demonized Item Level, but this time the Space Ring he bought was of Level 1 Witchcraft Artifact level.

The Space Ring Duke bought was named White Cloud, with a space as large as ten football fields, meeting his needs for a long time.

However, the price was quite high, as Level 1 Witchcraft Artifacts are generally expensive, and Space Rings are among the high-priced items.

This small White Cloud Ring cost Duke a whole thirty thousand pieces of Magic Stones.

The space in this Space Ring was only more than ten times larger than before, but the price was tens of times higher, and this was after Harrison's help, or it would have been even more expensive.

Duke returned to his deserted island, starting to use this batch of Magic Stones to construct his island.

He spent more than fifty thousand Magic Stones to build a standard Magic Potion Laboratory, complete with all kinds of basic equipment and instruments, without any issue for refining ordinary Level 1 Potions.

The Alchemy Laboratory only cost more than ten thousand Magic Stones, not because alchemy-related items are cheaper, but because Duke would not invest too much in this aspect for the time being.

Alchemy-related equipment was too expensive, and Duke couldn't afford it at the moment, only preparing some basic equipment to meet basic needs.

If a laboratory were to be built to the standards of a Magic Potion Laboratory, it would cost at least six figures.

Duke currently didn't have the ability to refine Witchcraft Artifacts, as his mastery of Will Runes was too limited, still in the stage of an Alchemy Apprentice.
