Duke thought for a moment and said, "Lady Hela has a Nightmare Beetle of Level 2 Life. I've seen it when I worked for her before."
"What? Quickly contact Lady Hela. If she's willing to help, then this won't be a problem for you." Merrick said with some surprise.
Lady Hela is usually very low-key, hardly ever goes out, and rarely interacts with the other Wizards of Black Sail.
This has resulted in her presence always being very low, and many Wizards of Black Sail don't know of her existence, let alone the existence of the Nightmare Beetle.
Duke only learned some things about Hela when he was working for her.
The two didn't delay further and then took a ride on the Storm Dragon Eagle, heading towards the direction of Entrance Area 12.
Two days later.
The wings of the Storm Dragon Eagle tore through chaotic void energy, accompanied by a low sound of wind and thunder, finally arriving near the marked area of Entrance 12 on the map.
Here, the void is relatively stable, no longer with tearing chaotic currents, replaced by several large, relatively flat floating islands in the void, like temporary anchorages for stranded ships.
Between the floating islands, a vague, twisted, and softly glowing white vortex can be seen, marking the exit from the Void Corridor.
Even though they were near the entrance area, Duke and Merrick did not relax at all, instead, they became even more vigilant.
Entrance areas are often places of strife; it's common for people to ambush Wizards returning here.
Generally, Wizards returning from various places in the Void Corridor won't be in good condition, either very fatigued or injured.
Attacking them at such times usually has a higher success rate.
Duke was already scouting the area ahead, with the Eye of Darkness moving forward, but the Storm Dragon Eagle's senses were sharper, letting out a warning howl.
They quickly stopped, without proceeding, and Duke, through the Eye of Darkness, soon saw behind a floating boulder ahead, a team of people hidden.
There were seven of them in total, lurking there, just waiting for Duke and Merrick to enter that area ahead.
Upon careful inspection, Duke discovered there should be a hidden Witch Array in the area ahead, entering would either result in direct attack or being trapped, hence he must not proceed rashly.
"Come out." Duke said directly.
A moment later, a strong, burly man emerged from the void, arms folded, with an aura revealing him as a Crystalized Wizard, and a powerful one at that.
This person didn't seem to have any intention of attacking, rather, he looked strangely at the Storm Dragon Eagle, asking after a moment, "Are you from Black Sail?"
Duke nodded, "Indeed, I'm Duke from the Third Legion, and this is Merrick."
The man scratched his head, smiling awkwardly, "I see, we are also Wizards of Black Sail. I'm Martin from the Tenth Legion, doing a bit of business here, didn't expect to run into our own."
Martin deliberately glanced more at Merrick, seeming to recognize this protégé of Master Land.
"Thankfully, we didn't attack. Otherwise, we'd face consequences when we return." Martin laughed, then displayed his Black Sail Badge, and Duke and Merrick also showed theirs to confirm identity.
Later, others from Martin's team appeared, all Wizards from Black Sail, and all from the Tenth Legion.
The Third Legion and the Tenth Legion have always had good relations, they naturally wouldn't start trouble.
Otherwise, if things got too heated, both sides would suffer repercussions.
It's normal to have occasional friction due to interests, but now they have no enmity, so there's no reason to fight.
Martin had seen this Storm Dragon Eagle before on battlefields of other planes, recognized it instantly by its familiar aura.
Thus, he didn't immediately attack, instead, he asked first, discovering they are his own, he no longer planned on doing business with them.
"How about joining us? We're all from Black Sail, split the resources equally." Martin enthusiastically invited.
He knew well the power of numbers; with more people, there's more to loot.
Picketing here is far more efficient than harshly searching for resources inside, almost every two to three days someone falls into their net, utterly effortlessly.
Duke smiled helplessly, "We have some troubles to deal with, can't delay, we'll go first."
He didn't fully trust Martin's group, naturally wouldn't accept their invitation.
Even if not entangled by curses, Duke would choose to detour rather than proceed, it's never too cautious to tread carefully outdoors, after all, one's mind is separated by a belly.
Martin didn't insist, instead, said to his companions, "Turn off the Witch Array, let them pass."
After the Witch Array was disabled, Duke still didn't choose to pass through the area above the Witch Array, opting to go around it.
This scene made Martin laugh and cry, thinking his usual reputation in Black Sail isn't that bad, why are these two so guarded against him.
His companions were also stifling laughs, clearly Duke and Merrick didn't trust this group.
Once Duke and Merrick reached the whirlpool in the entrance area, they stowed away the Storm Dragon Eagle, and entered the vortex.
A moment later, they arrived again on the platform, which was completely different from before, incredibly vacant, barely a few people on the platform.
Only a few Wizards from the Wizard Council were there to guard, Duke and Merrick's appearance drew their attention.
Upon revealing their identity, under guidance from the Wizard Council, they went to the Teleportation Witch Array heading to Harbor City.
This Teleportation Witch Array is quite peculiar; one array can teleport to multiple places, requiring only the Wizard Council to adjust the rune arrangement.
This is evidently advanced Witch Array technology, the entire massive teleportation array is like a precision machine, composed of many parts, and these parts are the movable and replaceable runes.
Duke and Merrick stood on the array, and with a flash of light, they found themselves inside the teleportation array in Harbor City.
As soon as Duke landed, he distinctly felt the curse power on his left arm pulse, then suppressed again by Merrick's magic.
Duke, perceiving this accurately, explained to Merrick, who pondered slightly, "It seems this curse can be sensed remotely, probably on the other end, there's a Witch Array or Witchcraft Artifact sensing this curse power."
"Previously isolated by the space of Void Corridor, that side's sensing was blocked by spatial forces. Now we're back on the Wizard Plane, sensed instantly from that side, although again suppressed by my magic."
