My Weekly Refreshing Mentor Spirit

Chapter 163: It's Back—Everything That Once Was Has Returned

"I might have developed unrealistic fantasies, maybe our civilization can still be saved, perhaps it can still be passed down..."

"So I wait, and wait. Initially, I recorded the information in an external intelligent brain, but I feared that the Interstellar Corps might not understand the unique biological data of our civilization. Later, I carved the text onto the wall, only to find that after tens of thousands of years, even metal would wear away..."

"Eventually, I discovered that my skin, under the power of 'God', could preserve it even longer than the walls..."

"So there I was, carving my information bit by bit."

"Look, this is most of our civilization's history, including the different customs and cultures of our 28 different ethnic groups, 28 different languages, and every piece of literature and history I could find, all carved into my skin."

Old Green seemed immensely proud and content. Behind him was a small mountain of human skins, piled up layer upon layer, overlapped indefinitely, stacking for who knows how long, who knows how many.

And Xue Dili thought of the magical creatures in the Fairy Tale World. He didn't count them in detail, but there were roughly about 30 types...

"By the way, sir, is 'Lord God' still around? I haven't felt His presence for a long time." Old Green looked at Xue Dili with hopeful eyes.

At this moment, Xue Dili opened his mouth, but the words got stuck, only after a long while did he say, "He, is alive and well..."

"That's good, that's good..."

Old Green seemed relieved, collapsing to the ground, that skinless bloody body enjoying its unity with the earth.

In the sky, numerous heads gazing towards them, Xue Dili knew, those were all Old Green's imagined fellow beings... but under the power of the Evil Eye, those fantasies turned into reality.

Old Green couldn't receive external information, and the outside world had no idea what Old Green had done.

They had fallen into such a huge information gap, creating this tragedy.

Indeed, in this way, Village Chief Green was actually himself in his dreams or fantasies. There were still survivors living in this world, the Tita Civilization still retained the last spark, just waiting for a new home, the torch still passed on, their civilization could still develop.

Yes, all the Tita people seemed to be having the same dream, a dream they didn't want to wake from.

The Tita people invading Earth were filled with thoughts of "restoration."

Old Green traveling with Xue Dili was obsessed with "founding schools," recruiting more students.

Village Chief Green's mind was full of thoughts of ensuring the survivors' survival, maintaining the stability of the Fairy Tale World with human lives...

All of them dreamed subconsciously with "inheritance" at the core, wanting to pass everything on, all Tita people were like this...

But this reluctant-to-wake dream ultimately came to an end.

Human nature, so small, yet it allowed this old man to wait in this hell for thirty thousand years, waiting for that ethereal dream.

No wonder, the "Tita people" in the Space Airship completely lost civilization and culture, no wonder, the Fairy Tale World was forever stuck in a medieval scenario, turns out it all was just a dream.

An old man, a dream he never wished to wake from.

Perhaps, only that artificial idiot was the true creation of the original Tita.

Xue Dili suddenly thought of the Great Sage, how the old thing, seeing that doomsday "Watcher", whether he had the same thoughts as now?

Cursed Blood flowed in Xue Dili's hand, he quietly watched the blood in his hand, if the old thing were here, he wouldn't hesitate, he'd fully unleash the power of Cursed Blood, right?

But Xue Dili hesitated now.

Could Cursed Blood really resurrect the imagined people? Even restore the Evil Eye that he mistakenly harmed due to his own error?

He didn't know, rationality desperately reminded him that Cursed Blood couldn't do it, it was impossible, even God couldn't accomplish such great power, just like Old Green knew, it was all fantasy, when he left, those fantasies might completely vanish.

So, he desperately tried to maintain consciousness, using self-harm to record civilization, but also to maintain humanity and consciousness, sustaining the dream.

"Mechanical Descent..." Xue Dili silently uttered a term.

The only method he could think of to rectify his mistake was Mechanical Descent...

Xue Dili commanded the Celestial Thunder from the outside, using the Star-Burning World-Destroying Cannon as propulsion, to push this "Pseudo-Planet" to the nearest Fixed Star System.

Then, he smiled and told the last lie of goodwill to this civilization's elder: "Sir, the Tita Civilization hasn't perished, there are still survivors. Although their cultural continuity was severed, they truly still live, living truly in the world."

Old Green was momentarily stunned, his mouth agape, finally, tremblingly said, "Really... really?"

"It's true," Xue Dili said with certainty, "Sir, do you want to see the revival of the Tita Civilization? I will push this planet into the orbit of the nearest star, by then, the Tita Civilization will settle in the habitable zone of this star, you will have a new home."

Old Green's pupils shrank, revealing what seemed to be two deep chasms, carrying thirty thousand years of time. Trembling, as if conveying inner joy through shivering to this world.

His lips curved slightly, yet seemed suppressed by a mysterious force, making it impossible for the smile to fully blossom, tears slid down the deep crow's feet.

"Can I, watch... see it one last time..." he said, as if begging.

"Certainly, how should I take you away?"

"Take my head, take it, let it see one last time..." Old Green instantly pulled his own head off, that headless half-body handed the head to Xue Dili.

The headless corpse seemed to bow at last, watching its head depart, it completely merged with the Evil Eye.

...

Celestial Thunder, full power release.

Blazing energy accumulates in its chest, but at this moment it has calculated the angle and leans against the surface of the Earth, aiming its cannon towards the distant stars.

All the magical creatures have come here to observe, curiously watching this giant creation, Celestial Thunder.

"Ready?" This time, Achilles managed to beat his cellmates and, along with Hercules, became the pilot of Celestial Thunder. He asked.

"Already ready!"

"Then let's start the launch."

Tremendous energy gathers in the crystal of Celestial Thunder's chest, and this energy, which could scorch an entire continent, was now ready to be fully converted into thrust.

"3!" Hercules said.

"2!" Xue Dili took over the countdown.

"1!" This time, it was all the fairy-tale creatures who said it in unison.

In the next moment, surging golden flames shot skyward, instantly transforming into a terrifying thrust that propelled the entire planet off its original orbit.

The golden flames were like a reverse meteor shower, painting the sky with light, bringing an endless stream of meteors to the world.

The reaction force caused this giant robot's body to start sinking, and countless mages began to reinforce the continent's plate strength beneath Celestial Thunder.

And they could all feel that, after that shifted orbit, it would only take a few years for this planet to be captured by the nearest fixed star's gravity, and then just a few decades to reach the habitable zone, eventually stabilizing there to become a new life planet.

Everyone cheered, giant dragons roared skyward, humans raised their swords, little mermaids embraced and wept.

They crowded on a grassy field woven from dreams, their tears interweaving into a river of sorrow, as tall treefolk gently patted their chests, letting out a muffled cry.

On those ancient moss-covered stone steps, little fairies and goblins held hands, flickering with weak light, blessing the land that was about to lose its laughter.

Amidst the crowd, Xue Dili quietly held a head in his hands, and he asked, "Did you see that, old man? It's all coming back, everything that once was."

"This will become a forest, where little fairies will live, and that will be the ocean, where little mermaids will swim freely, and human cities and nations will rest on these plains. They will have the richest crops, and over there..."

"Flowers, the sky, trees, the Earth, and that real starry sky and sun... everything is coming back, everything that once was is coming back."

"Did you see that, old man?" Xue Dili pointed to the starry sky and raised the head in his hand, speaking.

Yet at this moment, the head of Old Green in his hand had its eyes tightly closed. He was dead, but at the last, the corners of his mouth lifted in a faint smile, leaving with a smile.

A breeze blew by, and the head in his hand transformed into specks of light and dispersed with the wind.

Xue Dili smiled, and he suddenly understood the feelings of the Great Sage, understood the meaning of the journey.

The world is false, but Xue Dili will make it real.

Before this beautiful dream collapses.

In Xue Dili's hand, he held the emergency contact device from the Interstellar Corps.

It was an item that even Uncle Brave was reluctant to use, even at the cost of his life, but now, Xue Dili decided to use it. Mechanical Descent, this was the only method he could think of.

Uncle Brave once said that as long as this device was activated, every member of the Interstellar Corps in the universe would come to assist.

A ray of light rose from the horizon, cut through the long sky, and shot straight into the clouds, the trajectory of the signal like a silver giant dragon winding across the black sky, piercing the starry sky, calling for help from the universe, and recounting the suffering and despair that still roamed this place.

And now, before the support arrives, Xue Dili must maintain this unending beautiful dream.

He returned once more to the inside of the Evil Eye, and Xue Dili's hand rested on the Evil Eye's body, this entity he once thought was the primary cause of all disaster, Its massive body was ultimately left within the core of this planet, becoming the source of all life, becoming the core of the planet, to this day the continually burning energy seemed to still speak of Its vow.

Even after death, It still followed the final vow with the "Titan Race," guarding this weak life that had been dependent on It for tens of thousands of years.

This was the existence for which Xue Dili felt most sorry.

But now, Xue Dili would pay for his mistakes, he would never avoid his faults.

He was not a perfect man, he would also make mistakes, hesitating, just like ordinary people.

The lack and distortion of information caused this tragedy, but he would never make such a mistake again.

"Old thing, have I already caught up with you? Now, it seems I have to make the same choice as you."

Cursed Blood covered the Evil Eye, and Xue Dili closed his eyes, the Evil Eye did not resist or reject, It seemed to completely embrace the Cursed Blood.

This is a civilization's final defiant shout, they shouldn't just be a gravestone, something for future generations to lament, having come this far, having struggled so desperately to live, Xue Dili would not let that old man who waited 30,000 years be disappointed.

So...

"Cursed Blood, full power on!"
