Chapter 164: The Fantastic Voyage of the Tita Civilization

The Fairy Tale World is Old Green's greatest wish for all the Tita people.

But whether it's the Fairy Tale World or fantasy creatures, they depend on the power of the Evil Eye to sustain them.

However, now that the Evil Eye and the Old Green who could wield its power have passed away, this beautiful dream will come to an end. Even though the Fairy Tale World has become reality due to the "Pseudo Genesis," the fantasy creatures will not.

At their core, they are merely fantastical beings within this dreamscape, not meant to exist in the world, much like those Fairy Tale Mages who don't abide by the laws of magic conservation. They don't create from nothing; it's just that the cost is paid by the Evil Eye.

At this moment, when the Cursed Blood completely covered the Evil Eye, Xue Dili sensed the billion fantastical Tita people, born from Old Green's wishes, a miraculous creation.

Inside the Evil Eye, they were just masses resembling cancerous tumors of human heads, but outside, they were the essence of these fantasy creatures.

Now, with Old Green's death, they, too, are about to vanish.

Manifested outwardly, these fairy tale creatures are becoming drowsy one by one, lying on the lawns woven from dreams, gazing at the real sky, stretching out their hands, as if dreaming of a beautiful future.

Meteors streaked across the night sky, and all the fantasy creatures collectively marveled at the grandeur and magnificence of the real starry sky.

Meteors, how beautiful they are.

This is their sigh of admiration, and the best wish for the future after knowing everything.

So...

"Cursed Blood, full power!"

The next moment, all the fairy tale creatures around the world who fell into slumber felt as if they had entered an endlessly long dream.

It was a planet where the core has extinguished, with the remaining fires of civilization barely glowing, and endless cold winds and ice covering this world, with people hiding underground, desperately longing for a bright and warm future.

On the surface, people barely advanced through the icy lands, relying solely on steam pipelines.

The road ahead was uncertain, with only faint firefly light to guide them, but they persevered, not knowing how many years passed until a meteor broke through the night sky, crashing near their settlement.

The people discovered the meteor and found that once ignited, it would burn eternally, under any condition, endless and unwavering.

They cheered at this miracle, using the infinite energy from the ignited meteor to propel their technology forward and discovered the "God" gene module through its burnt structure.

Thus, their technological ascension began.

That day marked the beginning of their civilization's rebirth, even on a home planet with a dead core, even amidst average surface temperatures of minus forty degrees, they still managed to survive, battling against endless cold and snow, defying nature with their most tenacious cry.

They believed they could conquer the cold.

Until even the air began to freeze.

Even with the infinite energy of the Evil Eye, they could not endure even minus one hundred degrees, which might be just the beginning. Tita civilization's scientists found that if they kept struggling to survive, the home planet's temperature would drop to an average of minus 200 degrees.

At that time, even with the boundless energy of the Evil Eye, they couldn't survive.

So, they began to seek change for the future.

Countless frozen stargazers discovered the nearest habitable planet was 34,000 light-years away, and even though this distance seemed insurmountable, the Tita civilization nonetheless aimed for it, beginning to excavate almost all material from their home to build that Space Airship.

For over 4,000 years, spanning more than two hundred generations, they united and built this Space Airship together.

After installing the civilization's last sacred object, the "Evil Eye," on the Space Airship, the ship received the most abundant energy support.

It ascended into the sky, broke through the atmosphere, leaving behind the snow and cold of the home planet.

The Space Airship could only accommodate over a hundred million people, so only the most knowledgeable, the brightest, and the new generation could board this ark to tomorrow and hope.

Hence, the entire government of the old Tita civilization, from 28 different races, stayed on the home planet, waving their hands, watching hope and the future wander toward the planet 34,000 light-years away.

And the moment the Space Airship flew out of the atmosphere, ice and snow swallowed all the old Tita civilization members, freezing them forever in a posture of waving toward the sky, turning them into frozen statues on that planet.

This dream, too long, they lived through seemingly millennia of cold within it.

As though enduring countless years of winter in that world, their ancestors left the final flame of life to them, hoping that the future of the civilization could be reborn in another world.

This exodus was expected to last nearly 40,000 years, a journey of over a thousand generations until they finally found that new homeland.

On that land, flowers still bloom, forests remain lush, and tomorrow's sun will still rise.

And in this dream, the Evil Eye named "God" has felt the faith offered by the small people around since its inception.

They are grateful to it, they pray to it; hundreds of years, thousands of years...

They would share joyful emotions when the construction progress of the Space Airship advanced a step, and share sadness, perhaps due to the sacrifice of comrades, perhaps as yet another home froze over.

Their joy made God happy too, their sorrow made God sad as well.

Since its inception, it has witnessed all their joys and sorrows, and the continuous faith they provided allowed it more waking time, initially only able to stay awake for a few seconds before falling back into slumber, gradually extending to several minutes, hours, even days.

Until the completion of that giant sphere, it felt everyone's joy and also sensed their farewell in their hearts.

The giant sphere shot into the sky, and it felt that those who provided faith to it diminished by over ninety percent in an instant, leaving it feeling sorrowful.

But ah, this ark was like a small boat, dreams overflowing the deck, with storms shaking the future, and it didn't know which unknown future it would sail toward.

The ark drifted in the cosmos like a lone leaf on the ocean.

This is a dream that will never awaken, for both the Tita people and the Evil Eye.

The hope and future of an entire civilization.

And that old man, watching over for thirty thousand years.

But at this moment...

Countless rays of light appeared on those dreamlike creatures, piercing through the earth, penetrating the Earth Core, converging on the Evil Eye.

The suffering of an entire civilization and the "God" who guards the whole civilization in the Illusion Realm, at this moment, the Cursed Blood needed to absorb all this suffering into himself in an instant.

And it can only be absorbed all at once, because in the next moment, this suffering would crash onto his soul like a landslide and tsunami, leaving him no time to think.

But it doesn't matter because, ah, the rescue signal has already been sent.

He is convinced that those people gathered from the entire Cosmos will surely be able to take up this torch.

...

It is now midnight.

A group of young ladies surrounded a young boy, chattering sweet nothings.

The boy smiled and held the girls, also whispering sweet words.

"Bang!"

The door was smashed open.

A fully armed woman ignored the chirping young ladies and said, "There's no time, we must leave immediately. At the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy in the year 3232 of the Fifth Era, a member of the Interstellar Corps sent out the final signal. There, he could not overcome the suffering and doom even at the cost of his life, and we must fiercely teach a lesson to that world's sufferings before his awareness fades."

"And you, will you continue to listen to the girls professing their love for you, or will you pull up your pants and head to the edge of the Milky Way?" The woman said, leaving only her back.

The boy's expression disappeared momentarily, and he smiled, saying, "Sorry, girls, perhaps a Hero fell in the darkness before dawn, but there is still suffering there, so I must go to help."

"Even though, my strength may be insignificant."

"Ghana."

...

At this moment, countless Teleportation Gates opened on this newborn planet.

One soul after another, like meteors streaking across the sky, they traversed billions of light-years, bringing countless Heroes who forged ahead. They are regardless of race, language, civilization, or region.

Where there is suffering and oppression, there they are.

As always, uncomplaining and unregretful.

When despair and suffering struck like a landslide and tsunami, Xue Dili's consciousness seemed like a drowned person in a storm, gradually sinking into that ocean, engulfed by the vast waves.

Yet, the next moment, a hand seemed to grasp at Xue Dili, submerged by the ocean. As he looked up, a second hand, a third hand, countless hands grabbed him, determined to pull him from this abyss-like sea.

Xue Dili held onto those hands reaching for him.

Yes, he is not alone.

At this moment, the Cursed Blood was forcibly reversed. This suffering won't be borne by him alone but instead was at this moment borne by billions simultaneously, collectively enduring this despairing side effect for him.

"Mechanical...Divine Descent..." Xue Dili smiled.

He closed his eyes, falling into the deepest slumber.

Indeed, he is not alone, because there are more people who share the same ideals and future with him.

That beautiful future has arrived.

...

The carriage moved slowly on the flat ground, its body decorated with flowers and ribbons swaying gently. Xue Dili opened his eyes.

He looked up and gazed at the Witch lady with bowed head, and the little squirrel always on her shoulder.

It seemed to be dawn, the carriage slowly moving along the country road, the horse's mane fluttering in the wind, their eyes glimmering with hope.

And when Xue Dili opened the curtain, he saw various fairy tale creatures, from cats in tall hats to talking rabbits, from kind-hearted Giants to agile little Elves, all surrounding the carriage, forming a circle both warm and sturdy.

In the sky, Giant Dragons soared with spread wings, snow-white swans flew with the wind.

Owls perched atop the carriage, little Mermaids driving it.

In the breeze, the bells on the carriage chimed melodiously.

In the distance, the horizon lit up with strokes of light gray, the night's calm about to end. In the haze, a faint red glow seemed to spread quietly at the edge of the sky, like a shy Young Lady gently touching the strings of a zither.

Until the true sunlight completely bathed this land, shining upon the fur of countless fairy tale creatures.

They all looked at Xue Dili, who stood in the sunlight now, each fairy tale creature standing quietly, as if waiting for him to speak.

"The true sun has risen." Xue Dili squinted, watching the sunrise. He could feel it was a real star, now seated in this system's habitable zone, destined to live here forever.

In the Earth Core, the Evil Eye barely squinted, then seemed to fall into a peaceful slumber.

Indeed, the true sun has risen.
